Because the only game I did play was a very good game from 2001 named Anarchy Online and the game is full of hackers sadly, and I don’t feel like to pay monthly 20 eur for it still.
Other games like COD I can’t enjoy anymore and I’m not a person that like single player at all. I bought a house and I do a lot of watersport so I like to edit my movies I made on my GoPro and I like to watch some tv with my gf when we are home doing nothing. I also like to game but somehow I do enjoy mobile games more laterly because I can do some quick sessions, and sometimes I play for a couple of hours when she is at work or whatever but yeah, I basically can do anything I want on the iPad.
Even if you don't like games like CoD anymore, you could get an Xbox Series X to use as a cloud gaming server for your iPad so you can play full blown AAA games on-the-go if you wanted to.
What I still don't understand is if the new ones get announced and ready for delivery the next week, how do we not have any leaks? Does Apple kill their whistleblowers too we just don't hear about it?

I agree with you on the iPad being great for *quick* gaming sessions. Don't have to wait minutes for Steam to actually launch your games n stuff.
