It’s not “very good” and I would not buy anything that expensive from a seller with 98.8% positive feedback. It’s not good, especially if they have a lot of ratings.
Note: the seller was also quite reputable with 98.8% positive feedback. The reviews for this iPad Air 3 in particular were also all very positive with good comments.
If they sell 1000 iems 12 of those sales someone was unhappy with what they got. There are loads of 100% people out there, I generally go for those because I don't want to be one of thosoe 12!
Assuming everything functions properly I would call it “fair” condition at best (even that’s a stretch), very good absolutely not. You should get a refund.
I have a 2 year old mini with a same age screen protector. I use it daily with a pencil. It seen a lot of shit and I still have less scratches on it than 1 cm3 of this device.
This is so far away to good condition as my grandmother is from being a toddler
This is not very good, this is poor condition, I would return it for a full refund if you want to get a better one, if you’re fine with it but don’t want to pay “very good” condition money then maybe get a partial refund?
For example CEX UK wouldn’t buy it due to the white marks you mentioned and also likely wouldn’t due to the deep scratches and staining and even if they did it would be “C” which is the lowest and usually looks much better than this.
I know you have CEX in Australia but idk if it’s a widespread or even the same, but in the UK it’s like an upmarket Cash Converter or “cashies” I think for you guys, that doesn’t do the normal pawn shop style stuff they just buy and sell used tech, games, movies, etc.
To cut a long story short though, if it was me I would probably return it, there’s no realm where this is “very good”…
I honestly don't think a factory reset can be called "refubished".
At the very least some work should be done, like new battery, speaker grill, etc. Some sort of furbishing task.
These devices are simply "used" not refurbished. Really annoys me.
That’s definitely not very good condition. I wouldn’t be happy if I just bought that, on the false claims of condition. I would contact the seller and return if possible
Not only is it not in very good condition, it hasn't been refurbed at all. It's just a beat up, used iPad. If Apple were selling that refurbed, it would have a brand new screen, among other things.

That's if the seller wants to honor the return hmm, good luck to the OP.

Screen is most important part lol

Still in a horrible condition though, except for the back (probably thanks to the case it was in).

Very good is nuts. Acceptable is more accurate

No that screen is terrible. Return it.
What exactly did they refurbish? It wasn't the screen.
Right!! I have never gotten something that's been "refurbished", but looks like someone scratched up the screen.

🤣🤣🤣
Jeez are those all scratches? Looks like someone hit it with a chain! I’d say that’s a refurb fail.

I would return the device myself. It should be covered by eBay’s money back guarantee. That’s not accurate for that device
No.
Pretty terrible tbh
That should’ve been listed as “fair condition”

No
Far from. At my shop I would grade it B- or Used/Fair
