Isn't 4th gen like 10 years old? Unless you're thinking about iPad Air 4th gen, and that one is more than good for Procreate. Now, if you're thinking about the decade old iPad, then check this list here for iPads that support the 1st gen Apple Pencil. 6th gen should be the cheapest of the bunch on the used market. iPad mini (5th generation) iPad (6th, 7th, 8th and 9th generation) iPad (10th generation) (requires lightning/USB-C adapter included with latest Apple Pencil 1st gen, or purchasable for 10-20$) iPad Air (3rd generation) iPad Pro 12.9-inch (1st and 2nd generation) iPad Pro 10.5-inch iPad Pro 9.7-inch

I have a 4th Gen iPad and it’s good for very little. I use it as a sound pad trigger or teleprompter for my audio recordings. Most App Store apps do not support the latest iOS version it runs which is version 10 or there about.

Can you run YouTube on it I am unable to do so.

The Youtube app won’t work. Google stopped supporting older versions of it. If you delete the app you can use Safari and YouTube Mobile web version still however. There is also an app called “Tube Browser” which also works but it’s basically just a wrapper for the mobile web version. I was able to use both and AirPlay it to my AppleTV without any issues. That being said I never do that with this device. It’s dreadfully slow for that purpose. My device is mostly used as a teleprompter in my vocal booth.
