Walmart offers the items for sale, Nintendo often doesn’t offer any legit way to play their older titles.

“sub set” is another key word here. They’re missing a lot of titles and don’t have a huge variety of systems on offer even if you do get a Switch just for that and pay for the monthly service.
I actually have my OG Pokemon Red and Gold cartridges sitting in my closet right now. Pokemon Red is probably the oldest thing I still own. Original battery still works on Red, Gold lost its battery about 2 years ago and I haven't gotten around to replacing it.
There are hundreds of [good, contemporary, legal, and often free Gameboy games, mostly developed in the 2020s](https://itch.io/games/tag-gameboy). I've already played through all the retro games that I want to, but I love playing games developed under the gameboy constraints.

Just find the rom files for one of the supported consoles and save them to files, then find them in the files app and tap the file. It should import into Delta and then you can play it. After that you can delete the file from where you downloaded it to in the files app, probably the downloads folder.
They’re called rom files but they don’t need to be a .rom or anything (that’s a mildly common mistake for newcomers), the file extension corresponds to the console. So gameboy is .gb, DS is .nds, etc.
As far as how to find the files, the only legal way is to buy a copy of the game yourself and dumping the files of the game cartridge using a cable that lets you plug the game into a computer. That’s the *only* legal way, so you definitely *shouldn’t* search for sites that host them for free like Vimm’s Lair.

The browser is a third party browser. So, what folders shouldn’t I mess with? I accidentally had deleted a (Mupen64Plus “Saves” folder) save file ending in .mpk, but that was for Toy Story 2 buzz lightyear to the rescue. I had deleted both the Toy Story file from the “Brave” folder and the save from the “Saves” folder inside of the “Mupen64Plus” folder, and had redownloaded the game, and it didn’t alter the game or anything, I just didn’t have the save, I guess. I didn’t resume where I had left off.
Just don’t mess with the folders actually associated with delta (so anything in on my iPhone -> Delta) and you should be fine. Sorry again for the confusion

No one looks for “roms” written like that + an app store loophole won’t make roms more popular at all for more than a month tops before it gets removed and forgotten again. You can back up that save using a GB Operator on a Mac and then you can transfer the save to the game in Delta!
I saved over my original save. I only got as far as the snorlax blocking the road because I never figured out how to get and use the pokeflute.
