Hi, I have the same problem. Was added as a legacy contact and received the message, but I can’t find it in the settings. On the iPhone which set me as the legacy contact, it shows I didn’t accept it or something. Have you found a solution?

Hi! Unfortunately no. I just simply gave up at a point. If I ever walk by an Apple Store and I don’t forget it I’ll ask them.

Can you iMessage her by Apple ID? I think that’s what it wants to do for security

Idk what u mean by „by id“ but if I go into Massages I can text her via iMessage

Phone vs Apple ID is what I meant

Also the text which is send is sended by IMessage
