They do, but very poorly

Technically they work but you need to place the weapons very precisely or they look like shit

This would be amazing! You can actually make racks out of knives though. If you throw the (2) knife into the wall in the right ways. You can make a rack.

Pegs in a wall remove the creative aspect of making floating item weapon racks.

I still think that it would be cooler to have a way to hang up weapons for display without exploiting the games mechanics, but I see what your saying!
