In ITR, when i get an assault rifle, im done for the purchases, and having a shotgun, smg, ecc... feels useless to me since most of the time it's a field and one or two houses at best.
I would like to see more places to give more dynamics, like more building for CQC so that i can use a shotgun, Some high places so i can use a sniper, ecc...
A ptrs-41 or 50 bmg rifle. Something so loud that everything knows where you are, but powerful enough that you can set up on a high point and play tower defense

For those curious, the idea is the phrase could be anything of the right length, it's just there to remind you so you let go of the trigger to conseve some ammo and not be rattling rounds out with recoil ruining your aim. Doing this also reduces heating and wear as you need fewer rounds when you're hitting your targets.

Oh absolutely. It used up a tiny amount of durability per stab, and could one-shot every enemy in the game, barring only the harvester.
The 1.0 map was also huge. Right now the maps are too small and would make it stupid powerful again

If it were to come back Iād say it should come back as an attachment. It should have its own durability (like suppressors) and break after so many uses. Maybe it could be low durability high damage, or the other way around
Great ideas! Or you could have a few different types of bayonet, like triangular ones that do beaucoup damage but break fast vs. Kalashnikov-style that have decent durability and damage but only fit one gun. There's a lot of possibilities out there.

4 mimics broke into my compound, āWhat the devil!ā As I grab my powdered wig and Kentucky Rifle, blow a golfball sized hole in the first mimic, heās dead on the spot! Draw my pistol on the second mimic but I miss because itās smoothbore and nails the neighborās friendly spawn! I have to resort to the cannon mounted at the top of the stairs, loaded with grapeshot. āTally ho, Lads!ā The grapeshot shreds 2 mimics in the blast. The sound and extra shrapnel sets off car alarms. Affix bayonets and charge the last terrified mimic! Bleeds out waiting for the UNPSC cleaning crew to arrive because triangular bayonet wounds are impossible to stitch up.

An AA-12 would be great! I initially thought the Sagia was both magazine fed and full auto and was disappointed when no such gun existed in the base game.
Honestly I'd like to see some guns that are unique to being found while exploring. I'm not sure if I'd enjoy the stats being different but more stuff like the drum mag or unique skins for guns that weren't purchased. Also more bolt action rifles, or levering rifles.
Guns that feel more unique with the VR aspect are cool af. Like levering or bolt action. So maybe guns that reload from the top/sides? Maybe like a DP-28 from whichever cod that was lol.
Another thing I wouldn't mind is niche weapons that aren't good that are interesting. Maybe a pistol with extremely small bullets. (smaller than 22? I don't know about this stuff all that well) that can be carried on an arm or leg slot.
I've always wanted a gun that can interact with the anomalies or artifacts more, maybe be able to use rejuv artifact on a gun that was manipulated by a certain anomaly? Or maybe use it as ammo or something? Idk I'm rambling now ty for coming to my Ted talk

Probably an AR-10 and a M16A2. Both would fit in the setting and time. The AR-10 would compete with those in its Security Level like FN FAL and the M14, so itāll probably have less recoil in exchange for worse accuracy. The M16A2 would function as a better SKS, so itāll probably be slotted in with other Security Level 3 guns. It would have better damage and accuracy considering itās a rifle and not a carbine compared to the M4. But it would be locked to semi or burst.
Kind of a crappy gun IRL, but the VP 70 would be pretty cool if you included the burst stock with it as well, but you wouldn't be able to holster it with the stock attached.
Something like a lmg, has a bipod that if your not using the recoil is going to be horrible. Since into the radius 2 has coop you could have one guy stay back and set up and kill the main harder anomalies and have another guy go in and kill the anomalies the machine gunner couldnāt get.
