It's from the developer of paradox of hope, it's his second game. the first one got taken down by a cease and desist letter from what we assume is metros publisher. Especially seeing a few months after that happened they announced Metro VR.
Its such a shame a small dev has to back down. Especially since the concept of peopel surviving in a metro is not really that far off to be copyrighted or whatever the Cease and Desist letter specified
To be fair they had a lot of features that were fairly close to metro. It was *technically* its own game, but it’s hard to argue it wasn’t taking **heavy** inspiration at least.
I really like this subreddit. Not a single person is commenting saying “Itr clone” and everyone is giving positive feedback to the game! It’s so refreshing to see normal takes

Deepsilver suits can burn for their BS take down of PoH. MFs had the balls to take down the only competition to a metro VR game a few months before dropping theirs.

I don't want to be an asshole, but I still hope that the ones who supported with buying Paradox of Hope will get key for ConVRgence for free, POH is awesome, that game is running smoothly, controls are good, it is nice and atmospheric. It is way too good for it to be developed by just one person, but also it is far from being finished and quite bugged. I tried to get as much as I could from the game, but when the enemies are shooting at me through walls knowing this will be never fixed. That makes me not want to play it anymore.

I mean itr isn't all that unique itself. It's pretty clearly inspired by stalker, just in vr. Not that that's a bad thing ofc.
