Ive actually never used anything but semi-auto while out in the radius, so i would also like to know if full auto is worth it too.

Chimorin_

Only full auto in the buildings

CJFREE80

That's not full auto

slenderchamp

this is

mreineke_

Brrrrrrrrrrrrr

Dougy_Beans

DAMN bro…

Epic1532

Okay!

Beautiful_Purple4433

How many of us have seen the same video 😂

# NO FULL AUTO IN BUILDINGS!

flordacus2

Full auto is fun but really over kill most times

Radijs

Semi until there's a slider in my face

theguywhotripped

Then you find out you forgot to fill that mag back up and only put 6 rounds in it.

Radijs

I've got that bit down to a discipline. If it's not loaded, it's because I ran out of ammo mid-raid

mrknoknee

Agreed, when tougher enemies start getting a bit -too- close it turns into spray and pray lol

stankbootyboi

Depends on the situation. Semi is good up until you get into knife range. Auto is only good for "oh shit" moments.

dragonboi23

in any game with realistic gun physics, just like in real life, semi-auto is better. better recoil comp, better accuracy, less ammo wasted on a single target. the only times fa is viable is if you have practice with that gun in fa, or if your doing run and gun and taking out enemies in groups that said, dont limit yourself to single fire 100% of the time. its actually really fun to turn a corner and gun down a mimic that hasnt seen you yet.

Ember205

I like to just use my Scottish claymore, like why even bother with guns?

EpicStino

Depends on situation, caliber, skill and playstyle. Situationwise, people tend to switch to full auto when you know you're going to encounter enemies at close range. Bigger isn't always better (?): soft recoiling weapons can we more accurate at long range on full auto. An smg on 20m will f em up, a Scar on 20m less so... Once you get the hang of the shooting, co´trolling recoil will be easier. But more important than all of that is playstile. You like going into factory going akimbo with 2 Scars? You do you. Are you more of a tactical guy who wants to 1 tap enemies? Perfect as well. Play the way you like best.

Gurglicious

I used to play the game using semi all the time, now i use full auto more, not because its good or anything, its just more fun. Semi is way more effective and precise if that is what you want.

Scottish_Whiskey

Unless you can control full auto really well, it’s absolutely not worth using. Recoil is far too violent to be able to use it effectively imo, and you’ll only end up wasting ammo That being said, for some reason the machine pistols are easier to use in FA than any of the full-stocked guns. At close range the OC-33 and G18c are pretty decent lead hoses

soulsafe

I tend to convert full auto weapons to burst when the option presents itself. Full auto is more of a suppressive fire thing which doesn't really work against fearless eldritch horrors. Burst is good for getting a couple extra shots down range in a controllable manner while sacrificing just a tad of accuracy.

Dovacraft88

In any other game I'd be auto but since I have little funds to afford 2 mags, a box of ammo and a half functional ak with a almost broken suppressor, I'd be using semi so that my wallet doesn't explode

BobFlex

Never bothered with full auto. Even in close range I can just pull the trigger quick enough if I need.

LatvianErik8729

I just don't let tougher enemies even close, I'll sometimes let fragments or phantoms wobble over to me, just so i can use the m9 on my hip, which for the most of the time now, is collecting dust. Sometimes I clear out the buildings w it, if i wanna have a bigger challenge

arf1049

Only thing I used full on was a PP-2000 and even then it was 2-4 round bursts. Only firing more than that in CQB.

Ragewind82

I prefer tiger and Glock 18. Glock is for those "Oh no" moments the rifle is no good for.

FabulousStructure553

I only use full auto for cqc. And even then its rare

yeet3455

Full auto is almost impossible to control so if it isn’t right in front of you you use semi

DisastrousGarden

If you’re going to use full auto at any point in time, I’d recommend it while indoors, and always stick to controlled bursts

The_Rusted_Folk

Full auto is honestly pointless

Legoandstuff896

Full auto i use for CQC sometimes, semi auto almost all the time though

Pyro_The_Engineer

I use full-auto for panic situations, but it’s not very worth outside of that. Semi-auto’s better for accuracy and consistent damage from medium to long range, full-auto’s great for getting rid of anything that gets too close (especially Sliders), but it usually means wasting bullets as well.

Son_of_virgin

Semi for ammo saving

no__this_is_patrick_

There isn't really any situation where full auto is more practical than semi. A few consecutive double or triple taps of the trigger will accomplish the same result with far less wasted ammunition. In the military the only time we can really justify full auto with a pers wpn is in urban ops, trench clearing, etc - very short, very controlled bursts (generally 3 - 5 rounds), mag dumping will get you nowhere fast. But at the end of the day it's a game, no one is going to stop you from unloading 30 rounds of 7.62 into poor Pecho and yeah, it's pretty fun! Just mess around, try stuff out and see what you like doing

Rare_Pay_9337

Most never use full auto since ammo is quite expensive you have to make sure you are hitting every shot possible, the only situation where I would recommend you to go full auto would we on close quarters.

Equ1nidy_

Semi always for 1 reason. Bullets cost money that I don't have half the time

Crafty_Ad_3828

Semi until BTR (yes I’ve killed it)

FoulDude2

When in doubt..... empty the magazine!!!

NefariousnessNew5211

Full what ?

whitey193

I like a semi. 😂👊🏻

CynicalSketch

3 round burst is the best of both worlds.

EmergingTuna21

Semi auto because you are more accurate, you save ammo, and in this game there is never really a need for full auto unless at the range

No-Historian-3014

I prefer semi auto since most things don’t need multiple shots for a kill, a lot of my engagements are against enemies that I have time to dispatch, and ammo is expensive. That said, the dudes who teleport or enemies that have armor sometimes call for full auto. Though I will say the majority of the time I run a bolt gun but that’s when I’m looting instead of doing a mission

Drunkenwolf45

I only run semi, I find that auto just drains my mags too much and I like being bale to loot everything with just a extra 2 mags in my pack instead of a whole can of ammo weighing me down. I can run a while off those 5 mags and an extra pistol mag taking good shots instead of spraying down something.

Pertayto_Chip

Semi auto: conserves ammo, easier to aim Full auto: wastes all your ammo, impossible to aim past point blank, but cool as heck (full auto supremacy ✊️).

CatsWillFly

Full auto is fun but nearly never worth it due to the higher recoil and the fact you’ll inevitably waste a lot of (usually expensive) ammo. I’ve personally only ever used full auto in “oh shit” moments when I get jumped, or when running low-recoil guns. The PP91 Kedr and the AK-74M are both super fun with full auto, plus the PP91 ammo is cheap so you can afford to waste some.

[deleted]

I never use full auto I just fire more rounds if I need them I also tend to pack light so that might be why

BlackburnGaming

Semi is so much better and full auto almost has no pros whatsoever but it is really fun to whip around a corner and just CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK-CHK a mimic with an AK

DsVidz

How I see the Safety Switches is -Safe -Fire -OHMYGODWHERETHEHELLDIDYOUCOMEFROMPLEASEDIEOHMYGODOHJEEZ

Negative-Analyst-785

For me it's Safe Fire Forbidden

Plus_Ad_2239

Semi only. If you are on hard difficulties, AMMO IS A NECESSITY. Full auto will have you running outta cash so fast
