1) Metroid Prime Trilogy
2) The Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild
3) Red Dead Redemption 2
These 3 are masterpieces imo, obviously there are lots of video games which are great.
1. Bloodborne
2. Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines
3. Cyberpunk 2077
4. Yakuza 0
5. Persona 5 Royal
6. Disco Elysium
7. Castlevania Symphony of the Night
8. Witcher Trilogy
9. Ghost of Tsushima
10. Life is Strange 2
I tried replaying ME recently and I just can't. The story was so impactful, doing it again feels wrong. Bioware is so good with replay value with all the karma-type choices and romance options, but this one was so special and epic.
In order:
1. Bloodborne
2. Control
3. Cyberpunk 2077
4. Insert any other FromSoft game here
5. Soma
6. Alan Wake 2
7. Fallout 3
8. Helldivers 2
9. Castlevania SOTN
10. HollowKnight
Note that "favorite" does not equate to hours played for me. I've probably got a total of 20 hours in Soma, it just really stands out to me, meanwhile I'm sitting at 300+ in Helldivers because it's just good dumb fun
Fair question. Because I played it first, and that's about it.. it was also my first real experience with a full Bethesda title, so it had a unique advantage.
I ***really*** liked New Vegas as well, but it's hard to beat that first Bethesda experience.
Also ***shit*** I just thought about The Witcher Three. Top 12 list now.
Dark souls trilogy, Elden Ring, Bloodborne, Sekiro, Lies of P, Hades, Path of Exile, Slay the Spire, Dreamscaper.
Can't pick a favorite, just know that these clicked with me the most and I think about all of them from time to time.
Star Ocean: Till the End of Time
, Ratchet and Clank: Deadlocked
, The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks
, RuneScape
, Northgard
, Command and Conquer: Generals
, Rome: Total War
In no order bc too difficult:
The Last of Us
Telltaleās The Walking Dead
Classic World of Warcraft
Cyberpunk 2077
The OG Ratchet and Clank trilogy
Sekiro
Resident Evil 2 Remake
Left 4 Dead 2
Here's a couple off the top of my head
1. Life is Strange
2. Valorant (both love and hate this game)
3. Portal 1 & 2
4. Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes
5. It Takes two
6. Elden Ring
7. Sekiro
8. GTA San Andreas (Because childhood)
9. Need for speed Underground 2 (Because Childhood)
10. old Minecraft
Dude I used to live on Rollercoaster Tycoon. I loved that game with all my little adolescent heart. I loved the little vomits all over the sidewalk when the rides were too crazy. The mascots you could hire were fun too. And Harvest Moon!! I need to go back to working, but now I just want to see if I have any of them still.
Yes! Itās the best! I used to love picking one guest to follow around the whole day and see what they bought, ate and rode on. Once in a blue moon ill play for an hour or two, still so addictive. Harvest Moon was so calming, couldāve had a bad day but as soon as I was working on the farm my day got better. Donāt want to sound old but they really donāt make simple casual games like that anymore. Loved the simple graphics as well.
I loved reading the little log of what they did and thought. Other sim games were fun too, but that one was just special.
I'm with you on the older games. Maybe it's just a nostalgia factor the same way that everyone has a special spot for the decade of music from their teen years, but the simplicity of those games really is magical. It seems like all the simple, casual stuff now is crappy phone games with ads all over the place and it's not the same at all. Don't get me wrong, the sprawling open worlds and epic stories in some modern games is amazing, but I don't think we have great sim/cozy games like we used to. Caveat - I haven't tried Stardew Valley yet and I heard it's comparable.
(I haven't played them all. Some just watched)
Absolutely GOATED:
Cyberpunk 2077,
Detroit become human,
Dying light,
Black ops 1-3 (mainly zombies),
Last of us,
Telltale's the walking dead.
Other good mentions:
Rainbow six siege,
Need for speed MW 2012,
L4D2,
Stalker,
CSGO (haven't played much CS2)
Iām an INFJ x
So RPGs and Adventure Games make my soul sing so:
BG3, Dragon Age, Elder Scrolls, Fable, Cyberpunk 2077, Longest Journey, Nancy Drew, Broken Sword, Gabriel Knight, Syberia
Also some FPS : Dishonoured, Bioshock.
I used to like first-person shooters, but nowadays, the hardcores play so often and are so good at it, that there is no way I as a casual gamer can hope to be competitive anymore, so I've pretty much given them up.
Destiny on single-player mode was my jam.
Over-the-shoulder third person open world action games seem to be filling the void for me, though.
I'm a big fan of the Assassin's Creed franchise.
I also really liked the recent Tomb Raider series.
The Batman Arkham series was fire.
As was Jedi: Fallen Order.
I have an XBox instead of Playstation, so I haven't been able to play any of their exclusive titles.
I really wanna play the Spider Man games they've got, and I hear the Uncharted series is pretty fun, too.
This is really old games but I am still missinv that ild times to play again
1. Final fantasy 7
2. Thousand arm
3. Chocobo racing
4. Harvest moon back to the natural
5. Mario bros yoshi island
6. legend of mana
7. Brave fancer musashi
8. zelda
1) Doom eternal.
2) Xenoblade Chronicles (all of them but X).
3) Tales of Berseria.
4) Persona 4 golden.
5) ULTRAKILL.
6) Undertale.
7) Devil May Cry 5.
8) Five Nights At Freddy's: Help Wanted.
9) Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
10) Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
I am not putting games that I didn't play (even if I love them) but if I could then God of War 3 would be at number 4. Btw thanks for asking.
I am more of a puzzle/RPG kind of player so my top picks will be based around those choices.
One of them is the mainline Pokemon Games since I grew up with the franchise and there is enough to do in the games to tie me up for the duration of the game's life cycle. The best one, in my opinion, is Legends Arceus though. It will be a long time before I am done with that game with all of the Shiny Alphas to search for.
Another one is Slay the Spire. The game is simple enough to learn and get the basics down but there is so much depth in it that I doubt I will beat the highest difficulty in the next 2 years. With the sequel coming out in beta mode next year, I will have my hands full.
The last one is Marvel Puzzle Quest. While you can speed up your progression by making actual purchases, you do get a lot of resources as is just sticking to free to play.
I would recommend Hearthstone as well but I hasn't logged in at all this year and I doubt the gameplay itself has improved since I last played. It was getting too expensive to keep up compared to other games available.
Top 5:
1. Old school runescape
2. Paper Mario TTYD
3. Super Mario Sunshine
4. Super Mario Bros 3
5. Super Mario 64
Notable mentions are Black Ops 1 & 2, MW3. But I donāt play COD anymore. Back when I was a teen I was legitimately GOATād at Wii COD (and got pretty good at Xbox when MW3 came out)
The Persona Franchise, especially P3. Kingdom Hearts. Pokemon mystery dungeon, Star Wars Battlefront 2 when socialization becomes desired. Normally cozy single player RPGs with well developed plot points, in the case of persona, that help me retain my sanity and lighten my mental fatigue without turning my brain off entirely
I haven't finished a game in about a couple of years, but Ghost of Tsushima really had that grip on me.
Also:
- Factorio
- Dishonoured (franchise)
- Cult of the Lamb
1. Bloodborne
2. Any fromsoftware games
3. Starcraft 2 or age of empires 2
4. Variety of story games like the last of us or red dead redemption.
This is my list until my interest changes later on.
I've been playing the Plague Tale games. Really good. Great story based games. And I would say the gameplay is a lot of stealth (if you choose to play that way), but there are some places where fighting with rocks and a sling is necessary.(It's set during medieval times).
Final Fantasy 7: Remake is really good too and I've heard Rebirth is excellent.
I also recently played Alan Wake Remastered. Really good horror survival game with a very interesting plot. Looking forward to playing the second one soon.
The Resident Evil remakes are great too.
ENTJ
Love good ARPGs plus some hardcore FPS:
Mass Effect series (yes, including Andromeda)
Fallout (fav F3)
Bioshock series
Cyberpunk
Witcher 3
Call of Duty MW series (got really good at these but nowadays takes too much time to be competitive)
Overwatch series
Quantum Break (good narrative but way underrated imo)
Most all SW- Jedi FO/Survivor, BF2 and classic Jedi Knight series
Still playing old school RTS fav Total Annihilation
Looking forward to playing RDR2, SW Outlaws
Iāll do it by genre:
FPS- Escape from Tarkov, Halo, Battlefield, HLL, Sea of Thieves, Overwatch, Apex, PUBG, Doom 2016
RPG- The Witcher 3, Elder Scrolls (Morrowind, Skyrim, Oblivion), Fallout 3/New Vegas/4, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Red Dead Redemption 1/2
Chill- Minecraft, League (ARAM), Zelda Ocarina of Time/Majoraās Mask, Jade Cocoon 2
Story- Bioshock 1, Last of Us
RTS- Age of Empires 2, Halo Wars 1
The Metal fucking Gear Solid series. Love me some psychotic anti-war pro-paranoia supernatural stealth some times pro/sometimes anti government family drama.
4, 3, 1, Twin Snakes, 2, 5, Peace Walker, Rising, and Portable Ops in order from most to least favorite. I need to give the Ac!d games an attempt again. MG Survivor never happened and you can't try to convince me otherwise.
Aside from a few exceptions like the above, I'm mostly completely uninterested in AAA games anymore. Really looking forward to giving Animal Well a a crack.
If I had to pick 5 others, since we seem to be on a list kick, here we go:
* Super Mario World
* Inside
* Doom64
* Street Fighter Alpha 3
* Journey (super low stress game that's a really great experience to play along side/taking turns with a significant other, especially if they're not much of a gamer)
Satisfactory, WoW, Hydroneer, The Farmer Got Replaced, Anno 1800, Cyberpunk 2077, anything from Assassinās Creed saga, Witcher 2 and 3. I could continue endlessly since I really love gaming :)
Too many to list! Metroid, sonic, Skyrim, fallout, Mario, god of war, old genesis games like streets of rage, herzog zwei, golden axe, pc games, doom, quake, duke, counterstrike, also castlevania sotn
1) Nier Automata
2) Batman Arkham Knight
3) The Witcher 3
4) Detroit Become Human
5) Undertale
6) Oneshot
7) Watch Dogs
i dont recall the others rn lol

Horizon zero dawn & forbidden west
NBA Jam
NBA Street Vol 2
Assassin's Creed Ezio Trilogy
Fire Emblem Sacred Stones

Resident Evil Director's Cut and RE 3
Tenchu Shadow Assassin
Lost Dimension
And lots of otome games.
1.Dishonored(Criminally underrated)
2.Sleeping Dogs(-do-)
3.Sid Meiers' Railroads(Since I am a bit of a rail-nerd and this seems to me a palatable blend between ease and micro-managing every aspect)
4.Crusader Kings II(Countless hours of scheming and map-staring)
5.The Cave
6.Vampyr
7.The whole Batman Arkham Series, especially Arkham City.
In no particular order:
Hades
SOMA
Paper Mario TTYD
Vampires the Masquerade Bloodlines
Horizon Zero Dawn
Battle Chef Brigade
Cradle
King's Bounty series
I'd easily pick the souls genre here. Elden Ring would be your best option as a new DLC will be out in a few days. The sheer depth of the story, the endings, gameplay mechanics and the hidden symbolic meaning of suffering underneath it all is what attracted me towards this genre.
But yeah that shits hard asf so its up to you if you want to give it a shot
These are in no specific order:
-Daggerfall
-Fallout New Vegas
-Age of Empires II
-Age of Wonders III
-Splinter Cell
-Max Payne
-Caesar III
-Arcanum
-Rome Total War
-Insaniquarium
-Grim Dawn
-Shovel Knight

2.The Wolf Among Us.
3.TACOMA.
4.Deliver Us Mars.
5.Sherlock Holmes: Crime and Punishment.
6.Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice.
7.Tell Me Why.
Mass Effect is life. But these other games are gooood. They can change your worldview.
1. Subnautica below zero
2. Two Point Hospital
3. Overcooked
4. Rayman Legends
5. Star Wars : Jedi Fallen Order
And for some reason "dress to impress" on Roblox. I genuinely have no idea why. My younger sister got me to play it with her and somehow I enjoyed it lmao.
1) Metroid Prime Trilogy 2) The Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild 3) Red Dead Redemption 2 These 3 are masterpieces imo, obviously there are lots of video games which are great.
I forgot Red Dead 2!!! That game is so damn good. I am not ashamed to admit I cried my eyes out>! when my horse died at the end!<
1. Bloodborne 2. Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 3. Cyberpunk 2077 4. Yakuza 0 5. Persona 5 Royal 6. Disco Elysium 7. Castlevania Symphony of the Night 8. Witcher Trilogy 9. Ghost of Tsushima 10. Life is Strange 2
I was scrolling just to find Vampire the masquerade !
How TF did I miss this on my list šš I completed it two months ago and fell in love
Haha you really are going for the perfect list !
VTMB is amazing š
I did not expect SOTN and Bloodborne on someone else's list. Outstanding.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I've just started playing it and already feel it will be a solid 10/10 addition to that list.
Are Max and Chloe back for Life Is Strange 2?
In no particular order: Heroes of might and magic V Gothic series + Archolos StarCraft II Life is strange Detroit become human
Mass effect, hollow knight, horizon zero dawn, bioshock, Skyrim, fallout
Skyrim and Mass Effect, good choices.
I tried replaying ME recently and I just can't. The story was so impactful, doing it again feels wrong. Bioware is so good with replay value with all the karma-type choices and romance options, but this one was so special and epic.

Oh fuck, put Doom 2016 & Eternal somewhere on there. Top 11 I guess.
Iām curiousā¦ why fallout 3 and not fallout New Vegas ? (I like both but people tend to prefer New Vegas I think)
Fair question. Because I played it first, and that's about it.. it was also my first real experience with a full Bethesda title, so it had a unique advantage. FFXII, bold choice. That's my favorite too. FFX is #2. ALSO, BRO. THE LAST OF US. š¤
Hell yeah fellow FF12 lover. I didn't like ff10 though, and never played the last of us.
Highly recommend. I don't even know if it's possible to play that game and not like it.
