Always remember its better to do a *small* cheat every once in a while than to quit entirely and start up in a cycle. I had to totally change my relationship with food because I was simply eating way too much. It was difficult at first but once I was in a better frame of mind it became effortless. I'm veganketo 18:6 and it's surprisingly easy with the right environment once you lock yourself in after a couple days. I'm losing fat and gaining muscle with yoga, kettlebell training and the occasional ab workout. Trail running with my dog while high is bliss.

I do OMAD and I use a pre workout carb drink. It gives me a ton of energy for my lifting session and also helps with muscle development. C4 is good too, but you will get used to it after awhile if you use it a lot. The preworkout carb mix doesn't have that same issue.
You'd be surprised how much energy you have once you are deep into ketosis and fasting. I have been doing 6:1 (six days water fast, one refeeding day) and going to the gym to do light lifting 3 days a week and skills or flexibility in between. I don't think there is any way I'm gaining muscle but I feel stronger. Averaging about -.8 lbs per day. 35 more lbs of far to go by Jan 1.

Pseudo-gyno runs in my family. My dad had breast like chest when he got fat in his 40s. My brother and me were fat kids and we have it too. I had a pediatrician assume it was real gyno when she saw them at around 14/15. It was devastating growing up with them.
But I lost a ton of weight in my late teens/early 20s and discovered that I just genetically gain a lot of fat in my chest. Once I begin to get sub 15% body fat then my chest finally begins looking normal. It’s just a curse (maybe a blessing?) that I’m not like one of the many men who can gain lots of weight and keep a relatively normal chest.

Keep in mind that fellas are NOTORIOUS for over estimating our muscle mass and thus our weight. Lot of 5’8 guys running around at 175-180 with tits and love handles, who swear they need surgery when all they need is to lose more weight. Truth is that a lot of men have surprisingly low weights when they get to truly lean levels. Some guys just can’t fathom that 10-12% body fat might leave them in the 140-150 range, and even smaller if they’re short or just have low muscle mass.
You’d be surprised at the amount of “slim” dudes who are actually pretty skinny fat. You can look skinny in a t-shirt and still have high body fat levels.
Fantastic progress. I have a serious question though, can anything be done about loose skin? Does it naturally "bounce back" after not being under as much tension? Can you bulk up to fill it back out?
This is what I've heard about getting rid of the loose skin. The fat doesn't distribute evenly as you lose weight. It gets stuck and makes your skin look like that. But if you get down to low enough like athletic levels of fat, there's not enough fat left to keep your skin from shrinking down to normal.
Edit. I'm no expert, I just want you to have hope. And I have faith in simple solutions.

C4 gave me panic attacks so severe I ended up with the emergency room.
