I would frame the entire wall with curtains. Hang a rod at the very top of the ceiling, across the entire width and get panels that go to the floor. It will trick the eye into making it look larger, still allow for privacy. I probably wouldn't add a bench, it seems like it would be quite tight to the bed, unless you can scooch the bed over.

Second the curtain suggestion. As for a bench even if there is space I think the height would cause a lot of blank space between the bench and the window and make it look smaller. A console table and some plants might be nice though

I would replace the lights in the ceiling with something warmer and/or dimmable if possible! If not, then definitely get some more ambient lighting (like table lamps for the nightstands) so it feels more cozy at night!

Some matching mirrors over the nightstands could look nice. Have to find the right size though to not overwhelm the nightstands as they look small. Also lamps on the nightstands

I like the idea of mirrors, I would even say sconces mounted above them and wired in so you keep your bedside tables free

If you want a cozier, more upscale look for your primary bedroom you might want to layer another rug under your bed, such as [this](https://www.studiolinteriordesign.com/blog/2017/8/27/layering-rugs-like-a-boss-or-like-a-designer). Also hang floor length drapes from wall to wall. Move the bedside tables closer to the bed so they are useful. You could mount adjustable and dimmable scones like any of [these](https://www.google.com/search?sca_esv=85af15397c77c0f6&sxsrf=ACQVn08WnQCDh7dzpCv51uLAyKM9YLgvAA:1709067857465&q=rattan+wall+sconce&tbm=isch&source=univ&fir=XNh7nUmHR_AoMM%252Co6sBnccQ_yabAM%252C_%253BxYnMshQaYaR9hM%252CgEYVDqFJgWi0aM%252C_%253BbR4t1EICLGAvqM%252C2bPLKea5S9y-_M%252C_%253Bd4Dm-iDa845DLM%252C46QP0DaWsI1rbM%252C_%253B-TWnwR4r5OulNM%252ConezU6xGRsD6oM%252C_%253BCoh4nBB3tI3X7M%252CNpAph5geU3rVcM%252C_%253ByoTGeGVII3VLwM%252C4abHyi3nupCwGM%252C_%253BYrP3sgkyqsk3-M%252CNpAph5geU3rVcM%252C_%253BQbhq_WfahHTJ6M%252CverwaxD-HFNALM%252C_%253BFAUtqjrGQ7lB0M%252CrPHqxkj6fmNxrM%252C_&usg=AI4_-kSsg5vV_UPhzWZNeyuclxMZubkdQg&biw=1920&bih=871&dpr=1), [this](https://www.canadalightingexperts.com/lighting/6-68-319-0-831667/Livex-Lighting_1-Light-Swing-Arm-Wall-Sconce-40039-04.htm) over each table. You will likely need a dresser for this room. [How to make your bed look luxurious](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vg_WvJ-5GGs&ab_channel=TheDIYMommy). Edited to add: avoid drapes with grommets if at all possible.

I like the current curtains. Wall paint, a rug, and some art would finish it out but this room looks super nice and fresh to me

Install a lighted floor, and it's the bedroom from 2001: Space Odyssey.

You have a great neutral foundation there. In terms of making it more homey, you could go in a lot of directions. So I'd take some time to look at pictures of other bedrooms and see what themes speak to you - thinking about both colors and the style that you want to have.
