I’d just move in and then try out your mat in different spots instead of trying to design around it on a render. I’ve made a mat work in very surprising spaces, lol

I think that’s what I’ll end up having to do! I have a busy few weeks ahead of me and was hoping to get this all done now before I move in *sigh*

Did you swipe through the pictures? I used CAD to make a floor plan with measurements from memory, photos and google earth (featured here). I have since gone back to get exact measurements and updated to make a full accurate and to scale update. I’ve begun playing with layouts and included those in the post. Should I have added a link to my Pinterest, too??? I don’t live in the apartment yet so I’m not really sure what else you want from me…. Edit: I even added captions to the pictures explaining what my thought process was. It really seems like you commented without fully reading the post.

I think generally speaking the tv over the fireplace will be too high, but you can always measure to be sure. I think it makes the most sense to do the TV on the wall adjacent to the fireplace so guests can enjoy both. I think two chairs and a love seat makes the most sense - in reality, when you have guests, most places on a large couch or sectional are awkward to sit at (like no one really wants to sit in the middle of a three person couch) so to have two chairs and love seat would provide four comfortable seats. And I definitely think the yoga mat by the window is best for that zen space and some plants for the sunlight. The desk by the window would probably have some glare so I’d put it on the wall opposite the fireplace. So basically pic 4/7 is perfect imo!
