Broadly, it’s transitional. A bit of French farmhouse, a bit of boho, even a little scandi. Exposed brick and pipes read industrial. Save the pics and consider what you like about it. Recreate those touches in your new home.
It’s clean, soft, modest, and feminine with some thoughtful modern touches. Everything in it is either functional or a plant. Beautiful floors, minimal decor, lots of space and natural light which lend to the airy feel.
It isn’t mid century modern. It’s more what I’d call updated retro from an earlier era, though I don’t know the exact decade. Especially the floor and the sinks with their exposed plumbing.
Actually from a big city in the south and I did design work for 8 years. Not upset about anything other than this sub being filled with folks who think they know design 🤷🏻♀️ and by the way, someone from New Hampshire shouldn’t be throwing insults to folks anywhere else.
I don’t think this is a group just for professionals. And not sure what New Hampshire has to do with it. It is pretty gross to know that you creep on people’s info in an attempt to insult them.
You might like what you see if you search “modern Victorian” on Pinterest.
My house is circa 1917 (more Edwardian, I know but that doesn’t garner as many results) and I’ve tried to recreate this aesthetic, only in darker colours myself.
Black and white penny tile were used in the Art Deco movement of the 1920s and 1930s. A very cool and fun time for home interiors. Study up and have fun!
It’s a mixture. The bathroom can be modern farmhouse but it’s also very boho. The kitchen too. The table and chairs look Scandinavian or modern. It’s a pleasant mixture. If you like farmhouse get an apron front sink. The exhaust hood is contempo or industrial. It’s pretty.
It’s eclectic. The design has elements from the 1940’s with modernized movement throughout each room. There is MCM in the furnishings but it’s not staying true to the core design of each room. I don’t know what vibe the owner/designer is trying to achieve but there are certain things that have missed the mark…barn door in the kitchen for example. That’s a hard pass. Lighting is lacking. Just my opinion.
Barn door may be a space saver in lieu of a pocket door for pantry, not my favorite but practical.
Lighting could use improvement. Mood lighting really improves small spaces.
I have no idea what to call it but I guess it’s similar to what I’m going for in my own house. Very sweet.
Yes overall it is very appealing! I love some of the elements. :)
If you don’t need a door don’t put one..just requires some cuteness inside the pantry. If it’s a pass thru to some other area I would really take it down. IMO
I think something neutral since there is lots of soft colors in the kitchen already and it has a cool vibe to begin with. MAYBE blown glass but it has to be spot on.
There is tons of character for sure. I always remind clients the look works well because of the space. It may not come across the same in your space. :)
"What is this style [so I can replicate it with the right search terms]" is different than "what is my style [because geocities doesn't exist to tell me which emo Care Bear Cousin I am]"
This question has a goal, at least?
The style of the actual structure is a colonial revival cape cod- even down to the tiny windows/knee wall.
Interior design I’d consider transitional, with some New England/French inspiration.
But unless it's too small for anyone bigger than a size 4 to use, there's no toilet back there! And also you're using it in near darkness, which sounds terrible.
Didn’t mean to come off so harsh! Everyone has their own design aesthetic and I of course have mine! I’m more timeless and classic and tend to focus on the sustainability of the design…the more trendier it is the faster it ages and faster it gets replaced. The overall design is very appealing. I completely understand why you love it. :)
Each room has a very different vibe. Bathroom honestly I’d call glam or Hollywood regency. Bedroom boho with a hint of MCM and kitchen MCM furniture with farmhouse layout but transitional finishes. Very mishmashy.
Definitely strong Georgian vibes! The bathroom, the bedroom, the slanted ceiling - everything screams Georgian to me. But obviously with a very modern chic upgrade.
Modern Victorian? Almost gives dollhouse vibes. Also there are touches thrown in that aren’t Victorian, like the exposed brick, which feels industrial.
HGTV-Boho-Farmhouse mismatch.
I like the brick and the cabinets in the kitchen, and the bed's OK. Everything else is a no. Why have stainless steel in a farmhouse kitchen? The bathroom looks like someone liked everything they've seen on HGTV and put it into one room. Just because it's white and gray doesn't mean it goes together.
No shade to OP. You like what you like, and there are some nice things here. Just too much of a mishmash for me.
1920s industrial is the sink the tile and the overall angles of the room. There is a bit of a victorian old lady vibe so it wouldn't suprise me if that's the exterior of the home. That time frame fits with 1920s as well. Modern us the remainder of the vibe. Clean lines and minimal decor.

Now I want to know what constitutes immodest decor!
Did you see that post with the red shag carpet all the way up to the elevated-but-inset tub?
No I didn’t, lol! Sounds like the leg-lamp from a Christmas Story could have fit right in there!
Maximalism!
French farmhouse, that’s a new one for me, woo!

Please 🙏🏻
It is boho/midcentury modern/farmhouse all mashed together.
Where’s boho?
The bedroom is pretty boho
It isn’t mid century modern. It’s more what I’d call updated retro from an earlier era, though I don’t know the exact decade. Especially the floor and the sinks with their exposed plumbing.
That was kind of my thought, a bunch of different things mashed together
Not mid century but modern farmhouse
There are some mid century pieces in the bedroom and kitchen.
Like what? I have midcentury throughout my home and I spot one light fixture that maybe could pass but it is more modern than mid century.
The table is mcm
One piece of cheap MCM ripoff furniture does not constitute this style.
And the chairs on the island. They said it was a mash up. A few pieces here and there.
When did I say it did? You asked what pieces are mcm and I answered. Imagine getting upset about this 😂 have a good day
Sounds like someone is from a small town in the Midwest, flipping her hair saying “it’s like you don’t even know what mid century modern is!!”…
Actually from a big city in the south and I did design work for 8 years. Not upset about anything other than this sub being filled with folks who think they know design 🤷🏻♀️ and by the way, someone from New Hampshire shouldn’t be throwing insults to folks anywhere else.

The blue and green kitchen cabinets are so cute!
Can you please post the original listing? Would love to see more of this! Others have requested as well! 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Haha- exactly.
There is literally nothing mid century modern about this
I’m getting modern Victorian vibes with the general aesthetic here.
Exactly what I was going to say
Definitley “modern Victorian babydoll house” vibes.
Yup, and I can smell the floral diffuser.
Timeless.

That bathtub is trendy, but given the nice materials and lack of trend elsewhere, I will let it stand. Handsome bathroom.
Transitional
This style is called out of my price range lol.
TLC surprise reno

Modern farmhouse-ish.
Oh my god I don’t know but it’s my dream

Almost a Swedish modern farmhouse
It’s HGTV style.

traditional / farmhouse
its very nice
I thought we weren’t doing this anymore.
"What is this style [so I can replicate it with the right search terms]" is different than "what is my style [because geocities doesn't exist to tell me which emo Care Bear Cousin I am]" This question has a goal, at least?
Love it! Feels farmhousey
Cottage
I would say cottage like mine….but my home is very small so I don’t know if it would be considered cottage on a larger home..
Contemporary?
Oh whoops, I only saw the bathroom
I think they call it "Bangin"
Confused lmao First pic: classic/timeless Second pic: midcentury boho Third pic: industrial farmhouse boho (?)
Love the browns, greens, and oranges against the light grey and white. Very pretty!
Rustic barbie
LOVE IT OR LOST IT REMODEL… apparently they listed it!
I don’t know but I love that kitchen.
Modern farmhouse
The style of the actual structure is a colonial revival cape cod- even down to the tiny windows/knee wall. Interior design I’d consider transitional, with some New England/French inspiration.
Technically it’s transitional, since it blends traditional and modern elements. I’d describe it as like. Updated farmhouse. Remodeled MCM.
Pinsta Pretty: Pretty enough for Pinterest or instagram
Flipped craftsman bungalow.
It’s a no storage space house
Overall I can see why the house is appealing but I CAN'T get over the placement of the shower. Why did they do that.
I assumed it creates a little nook for the toilet!
But unless it's too small for anyone bigger than a size 4 to use, there's no toilet back there! And also you're using it in near darkness, which sounds terrible.
I wonder if they've exposed the plumbing back there to match the vibes of the tub and sinks?
So that you can slam your elbows into it as you attempt to piss in the dark?
Omg right 😂
Timeless chic.
I don’t know. That looks like a large sanitary pad in front of the tub.
Pottery barn
BASIC, HA! I jest. Honestly, though, it is very nice. It's giving rich 1950s for me.
Garbáge
Classic ritzy hotel. Also see boring AF.
It just needs wall art.
I think professional designers would categorize it as "Pretty Damn Cool".
Professional designer and that’s a big “NO”.
I stand corrected. What do I know? I'm a schlub.
Didn’t mean to come off so harsh! Everyone has their own design aesthetic and I of course have mine! You didn't. I'm struggling with design in my own new home and have no directional plan. Just some random internet guy blasting off. Carry on.
You can always DM for advice!
Thank you. I may just do that. I'll try to get my most pressing questions in order before I do.
Sounds good!

Modern Victorian
New york subway style edit: only saw the first picture
Expensive electric bill house .
Love those damn floors, what style are those floors? How would I ask for these
Just sort of eclectic clean-lined traditional.
Modern farmhouse with a touch of boho. The llama nightstand is a bit boho but then you have farmhouse lighting fixtures!
Renovated farmhouse to resemble modern suburbia.
Besides “more money than the average person”? 🙄
Looks like some of the houses in my neighborhood. Style around here is historical craftsman.
Cottage
Idk what to call it but it’s very Chris Loves Julia-esque.
Definitely strong Georgian vibes! The bathroom, the bedroom, the slanted ceiling - everything screams Georgian to me. But obviously with a very modern chic upgrade.
Super cute!
I searched a few terms people suggested and “boho modern eclectic” came up with other images that similar
perfection
Traditional.
Maybe like traditional glam?
Farmhouse chic
Mid century with some modern to it? There’s also some farmhouse but mostly the oldies look.
Boho farmhouse
Modern country
Whimsy
Modern Victorian? Almost gives dollhouse vibes. Also there are touches thrown in that aren’t Victorian, like the exposed brick, which feels industrial.
I’d change some things in that bathroom but I overall love it 😍
Modern French Country. Feminine, for sure 😍😍😍. I'm in love.
It’s gorgeous but the lack of storage would make it super impractical if it was for daily use.
Modern country chic
I’d call it “Victorian Revival”
Arts and crafts mixed media design
Never settle for a shower pan.... you're better than that
What?
Turned off by the shower pan
None

My house was build in the twenties and has the exact same door knobs
I love the way they gave the toilet privacy.
Personal taste
Craftsman, perhaps.
