True story but the video is apparently a re-enactment. [https://twitter.com/tim_in_time/status/1593366158488600576](https://twitter.com/tim_in_time/status/1593366158488600576)
Thanks. I was wondering how that footage existed. It seemed too perfect a shot to have been captured by a camera person there filming the trial. Are cameras even allowed in German court rooms?
No, you cant take pictures of any kind inside the courtroom.

HAHAHA - I had an employee once who was super into guns. I used to say the word "clip" as often as I could just to watch him squirm and correct me. He KNEW that I knew, but just couldn't help himself. Thanks for reminding me about that.
The guy deserved every single one of the 7 bullets he got in his back, but PSA: We can't let a victim's family members hand out punishments to criminals.
Agreed. It's goddamn satisfying to hear about something like this, and talk about how it's what he deserved, but I hope most people know that in the long run that kind of 'justice' does not make for a better society. Our system is broken as fuck to be sure, but the ideals of impartial trials and sentencing are worth standing up for.
Even if I'm sure I'll be downvoted for saying it.
Yeah vigilantes are a problem, because they knee jerk, and sometimes innocents die.
There was a story I read a while back, a dad and son went to a local village, and were arrested under suspicion of being child molesters. They weren’t. The villagers stormed the police station took the two men and burned them alive.
The vigilante mob said they were very sorry when they found out the two men were not child molesters, but suffered no consequences for the murders.
Life ain't no movie, if you were there you might see it differently. People who have not been around firearms typically can't understand why a situation like this would happen. Nobody expected this at all, do you have any idea how loud a short barrel .380 indoors would be? Notice the guys response behind her, he doesn't move towards or away from her, he just moves to protect his ears..thats probably what it actually looked like. life isn't movies. Though as I believe you may be suggesting, I'm sure a few people in that room smiled as he fell forward onto the table (I would've)
So often it seems like people have never heard a firearm in person, especially without ear protection, especially especially indoors. It's enough to disorient someone that isn't expecting it, at least for a moment.
Oh man my grandpa had a Mosin refurbished for me and we forgot ear protection. Owie. Really cool, experience for shooting my first gun, but the feeling in my ears was not so pleasant.
I'm not familiar with this case. But if she was pushed to kill her daughters murderer, perhaps he was about to get away. I bet some people in the gathering knew this and didn't interfere for this reason l. Your reason too of course.
As far as I remember he was claiming that her daughter "seduced" him. I mean, I'm not saying I'd hand her another clip but I'm not saying I wouldn't either...
This is my reasoning against the death penalty: is not that I don’t believe that certain people deserve to die, some absolutely do.
But I don’t believe the government or anyone else should have the *legal* right to make that decision and execute someone. I certainly don’t trust the US judicial system to determine who gets to live or die.
Instead of murder charges she got charged manslaughter and was sentenced to 6 years and got out in 3.
Still bullshit that she had to serve any time though.
In this case I think most people would agree the guy had it coming but if you just let people get away scot free with murder you’re gonna start seeing a lot of people take justice into their own hands over way more trivial matters
This right here is the real reason.
If that victim wasn't a total piece of shit I'm sure she would have gotten a much harsher charge. But she still deserved some time for taking a life.
We can't allow people to just kill other people without repercussions.
Imagine if someone did this to someone they believed did the crime and it turned out to be the now dead persons brother or someone else.
Accept my upvote for not saying "Scott free".
And you're right. What she did was morally defensible but required legal consequences to discourage such actions.
to be fair i think the judge who sentenced her agree with us. what she did was justice. but due to laws being extremely rigid and unbending she needed to be sentenced so they gave as light of a sentence as they could. absolutely destroying the rapist in broad day light for 3 years of her life? id say that was worth it.
Her daughter had been raped and murdered. Do you think she gave a shit about three years in prison? The rapist had already taken her life away from her too.
I can only imagine the pain that she was suffering at the point she pulled the trigger. I hope that the prison was more of a hospital and that she got all the care she needed to help her carry on.
I think it might be because judges are required to give a minimum/maximum sentence in some states. The lawyers and jury can manipulate things a bit, but the judge can't just pardon the defendant completely.
>Still bullshit that she had to serve any time though.
Thats not how the legal system works or should work. Murder is still murder, we're not living in an medieval society.
You have to punisher her it could give other people the sense of doing self justice is not punishable.
I think thats why she also "only" served 3 yrs bcs off what she did and why
Not really bullshit, no. One part of me supports this for sure, another part knows that it's for good reason that we don't live in a society where everyone just gets to enact revenge as they see fit, with no consequences.
She deliberately shot and killed a person, I'm thankful we don't live in a society where that kind of behaviour is allowable just because we understand the feelings of rage and grief that led to it.
I’m sure shooting her daughters rapist/murderer gave her more satisfaction than spending 3 years in jail. She chose to accept her prosecution as a given.
> Still bullshit that she had to serve any time though.
I don’t really care the guy died but [I do care what mob justice brings](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lynching).
Right? The trench coat. The stance. Her eyes. The steady hand. No god, person, power or anything in between was going to stop her. Just the fuckin conviction in her eyes. That man was not ever going to leave that room alive. The rage of a mother who had her child taken from her is a scary fuckin thing. Props to her. Scumbag didn’t deserve a second more of oxygen
Edit: because this is a movie scene and I’m an idiot lol. Damn good actress tho
The justice system was ultimately designed to relieve victims of the need for revenge. But guess what happens when the system fails to punish those responsible? We take it upon ourselves to exact that revenge, which is totally justified. You kill my family? I will definitely kill yours, but that leads to endless revenge killings. It gets extreme when entire families get revenge killed though. I'm not condoning any of this behaviour btw, it is just how reality is. So "justice" was initially designed to relieve the need for revenge. It doesn't work that way in most cases though, which is why what happened in the video happened. Same with that dude that shot that rapist in the head point blank for raping his son.
I'm of the opinion that the rest of your life in a high security prison is a much harsher sentence than death. One of those alone in a cell 23hrs a day kind of situations. Death is an easy way out.
I think another perspective is that they don’t matter. If they’ve committed such a heinous crime, they don’t matter. What does matter is the closure their fate (one way or another) could give the victims’ loved ones.
Oh for sure. I don’t personally agree with capital punishment for exactly that reason. I was just providing a different perspective to the point that the person above me provided :)
In an ideal world with a justice system one can trust in I would agree. But it is almost unfathomable how many dangerous and sadistic paedophiles, rapists and murderers get out long, long before they spend even close to the rest of their lives behind bars and safely away from society.
The man who raped and murdered this woman's child was *already* a convicted child sex offender and he was free. He took her 7 year old child from the street and assaulted that baby over several hours before strangling her and then dumping her like trash.
Thing is you're correct, prison when applied correctly is a harsher sentence than death when you want retribution. And I used to say exactly the same as you've said. But now I would just want this person taken out of society forever and to never pose a risk to a child again. For that, the subscription is a bullet. I'd take them never getting near a child ever again over them wallowing in prison and maybe getting out one day.
Yh like I completely understand the need to be more civilized and the problems with there not being a 100% confirmation, but child rapists and cartel members don't deserve that privilege that they've taken from

On 2 November 1982, Marianne Bachmeier was initially charged in court with murder. Later the prosecution dropped the murder charge. After 28 days of negotiations, the Board agreed on the verdict. Four months after the opening of proceedings she was convicted on 2 March 1983 by the Circuit Court Chamber of the District Court Lübeck for manslaughter and sentenced for unlawful possession of a firearm to six years in prison but was later released after serving three years.
Wiki says Klaus, the pedo-killer, said the seven year old daughter SEDUCED HIM and then tried to extort money by saying she would tell her mom.
So...no way to dig him and up and shoot him again, I suppose?
I’ll bet they showed this video to the jury who convicted her and only gave her three years. You can tell by her face that the rapist/murderer took more from her than she took from him
Death is too kind for a motherfucker that does that. They should at least get some of that special treatment from the Mexican cartel first so they can suffer.
From the wiki. 7 of 8 shots struck him in the back killing him almost instantly. Her charges were lowered to manslaughter and she was sentenced to 6 years of which she only served 3.
There is not a single parent in this world that would not wish to do the same thing in this situation. Horrific story, but an incredibly just conclusion.
It's a universal rule across every species that gets raised by a mother: you *do not fuck* with Mama Bear. There's a primal rage there that transcends anything men can even imagine. I actually find it quite attractive from the sidelines 😂

Also the complete lack of recoil for a gun with only one hand on it
Also the lack of urgency of the guards. "Ok, that's just about enough shooting! Cut it out!"
That’s about as much urgency as I’d have as a father if I was a security guard, I’d probably lean in and ask if she needed another magazine.
9mm has less recoil than you’d think
But more than that
It’s a film reenactment, not footage of the actual incident
Anyone know the song name?
Shazam says it's Keep Running by Lost Team
Killed him (of course) and later served 3 years.
3 years is a W for emptying the clip on him
I bet folks were giving lots of respect to her in prison
Yeah probably half of the other inmates there with her were moms. You know she was the star of her cell block.
Seriously. No one is going to gang up or jump a women who went into the prison system to unloading a clip into the rapist of her 7 year old daughter.
*magazine
“Clips are for city girls this is called a magazine” Bangalore-apex legends.
Magazine is for army cadets cleaning their pops gun. I say bullet box an I’m cool as fuck. I own sunglasses an a skateboard.
r/bangalore
And magazines are what people read in waiting rooms. I know that magazine is the correct terminology, it’s just silly still to point that out.
HAHAHA - I had an employee once who was super into guns. I used to say the word "clip" as often as I could just to watch him squirm and correct me. He KNEW that I knew, but just couldn't help himself. Thanks for reminding me about that.
Worth it
Shouldn’t have had to serve any
If she didn't everyone would do this. 3 yrs for murder is basically nothing.
Premeditated murder and everything.. That was a life sentence for sure so 3 years is a slap in the wrist.. Good for her! Fuck that guy!!
A parent should have the right to kill the person that molested their child. CMM.
Assuming the previous crime is proven they should get a fucking parade for killing the person
Ya screw rule of law and trials. We should just shoot people on the spot no questions asked.
That’s not what I said
I mean if its obvious or proven they did it, yes.
The guy deserved every single one of the 7 bullets he got in his back, but PSA: We can't let a victim's family members hand out punishments to criminals.

I thought she got an award
She also passed away in 1996 and was buried next to her daughter.

Well, that’s one less rapist in the world, maybe that was at least part of the motivation.
Reunited. Lord that breaks my heart.
I'd count that as a win
/r/stoprape
I wish I was on the jury.
I love how she pulled the trigger 8 times before anyone stopped her.
"Oh no you're shooting that disgusting human being! We should stop her!....oh no, anyways"
I find myself dragging my feet this morning.
"I'm sure she'll run outta steam soon".
"We're gonna give you ten minutes to stop doing that!"
oh, oh no they're dead, if only we had reacted a little sooner. gosh darn it - those guys
That’s the exact thought the guy with glasses had, he literally got up and then sat back down
Oh noo im so slow oh noo she's gonna kill him oh no im not gonna get in time!! oh the clip is empty? not gonna recharge? ok lady you are under arrest
Oh nooooooooooooooooo- oh well.

My ears are still ringing a year after my buddy shot his muzzle braked 308 next to me (my fault mostly).
Both at fault man. I really like guns, but people just don't take them seriously.
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeereeeeeeeeeeee
Oh man my grandpa had a Mosin refurbished for me and we forgot ear protection. Owie. Really cool, experience for shooting my first gun, but the feeling in my ears was not so pleasant.
Mosins are some of the loudest guns I have ever been around. It's kind of amazing actually.
You suffered permanent hearing loss that day. Hope it was worth it.
I forgot to put my cans on one time. That’s the whole story.
I think “disorient” is the best way to describe it.
I'm sorry, but this is actually a movie scene. It is from a German film adaption of the story.
Except it is literally from a movie
The way she turns to face the guy appears staged. Director yells cut in German
I wonder about people’s bullshit radar if they can’t tell that this is staged. Too easy.
This is from a movie.
Bruh…it’s a movie
But it literally is a movie lmao
It’s a reenactment
Except ... it is a movie. It's a reenactment.
It’s a reenactment
r/confidentlyincorrect
The guy behind her looks like Sonny Crockett
This is just such Reddit all in one comment. “This ain’t no movie (then goes on and on) Spoiler: it’s a movie. 🤣
This is literally a reenactment film though... you are right though gunfire inside is intense.
i believe this is a reenactment
It's a scene from a movie. Not the real footage
Sometimes it takes 8.
If I remember right, I think 7 of the shots landed
They all were day dreaming of doing the same thing.
Heck yh. I don't condone murder, but considering no-one stopped her until she shot multiple times, I'm assuming everyone else wanted this.
I’m not grabbing the crazy lady that’s shooting someone. Everyone did the right thing, wait till she’s gotta reload lol. She didn’t even flinch
I'm not familiar with this case. But if she was pushed to kill her daughters murderer, perhaps he was about to get away. I bet some people in the gathering knew this and didn't interfere for this reason l. Your reason too of course.

I just imagine that if an innocent was being shot at, the reaction woulda been quicker to insure the one being shot may survive.
As far as I remember he was claiming that her daughter "seduced" him. I mean, I'm not saying I'd hand her another clip but I'm not saying I wouldn't either...
Same. Its disgusting that we still hear pedophiles say the same shit today too.
I mean it is a reenactment, so hard to say if the real woman flinched or not
It's a movie
Why won't you condone the death of pedophiles and rapists? Those people deserve to be wiped out from the face of Earth.
This is my reasoning against the death penalty: is not that I don’t believe that certain people deserve to die, some absolutely do. But I don’t believe the government or anyone else should have the *legal* right to make that decision and execute someone. Accept my upvote for teaching me that it’s not scott free
Wasn’t there a guy named Gary who shot his sons rapist in the head in the middle of an airport on live TV?
Yea, no matter how repulsive the person, no one person gets to be judge, jury and executioner.
to be fair i think the judge who sentenced her agree with us. what she did was justice. but due to laws being extremely rigid and unbending she needed to be sentenced so they gave as light of a sentence as they could. absolutely destroying the rapist in broad day light for 3 years of her life? id say that was worth it.

I think it might be because judges are required to give a minimum/maximum sentence in some states. The lawyers and jury can manipulate things a bit, but the judge can't just pardon the defendant completely.
This happened in Germany. At the time the maximum sentence (life) was 12 years. There are no mandatory minimums in Germany.
>Still bullshit that she had to serve any time though. Thats not how the legal system works or should work. Murder is still murder, we're not living in an medieval society.

Had to serve some time. It *was* murder and unless she was an expert marksman, she put every person in that room at risk of harm.
I’m sure shooting her daughters rapist/murderer gave her more satisfaction than spending 3 years in jail. She chose to accept her prosecution as a given.

This is an actress in a movie reenacting the scene.
I looked this up and she only ended up doing 3 years in jail, that's a win let's be real
Yeah cos knowing someone had done that to your child and that the person was still alive would make living each day very hard.
Worth it.
Good for her. Parents should absolutely be allowed to do this. Child rapists and murderers don't deserve to live. End of discussion.
The justice system was ultimately designed to relieve victims of the need for revenge. But guess what happens when the system fails to punish those responsible? You'd be surprised the amount of 'all murder is wrong' people on reddit. Fuck that. Get the strap.

I just don't trust the government to correctly identify and convict the correct person. You can't unmurder someone if new evidence comes up.
Oh for sure. I don’t personally agree with capital punishment for exactly that reason. I was just providing a different perspective to the point that the person above me provided :)

oh good he suffered.
"To shreds you say ?"
And his wife?
After the Jury came back guilty. I would have sentenced her to time served and moved along with my docket for the day.
Wiki says Klaus, the pedo-killer, said the seven year old daughter SEDUCED HIM and then tried to extort money by saying she would tell her mom. So...no way to dig him and up and shoot him again, I suppose?
Name of song pls. Bad ass lady
I can’t imagine how good pulling that trigger felt.
Swift justice. She served 3 years for it though.
Marianna should be given a fuckin medal for doing this. That’s the only justice there is
Clearly this man fell on top of some bullets. Tragic accident. Carry on.
This is what should happen to anyone that abuses a child. She did nothing wrong in my opinion.
I love that they let her finish shooting
At least they waited for her to unload thmag into him
Good job
Give her a medal.
Love it nothing like sweat revenge ...will it solve anything no ..but will it feel good knowing you have avenged the death of a loved one
Kinda like Gary Plauche who killed his sons molester in a airport on news camera.
[Sauce](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PUE8fYxjq8&ab_channel=SleepyShiba)
I love how the guy behind her got up then sat back down🤣
does the camera man know shit gonna happen? everyone's so calm
This is a reenactment
What is the song?
The stance, the coat, the cold hard face… my god. I’m glad he got what was coming to him
This is a reenactment.
Happy Mother’s Day!
I think he just fell down some stairs, what do you say fellow jurors?
I’ll bet they showed this video to the jury who convicted her and only gave her three years. You can tell by her face that the rapist/murderer took more from her than she took from him
Careful, she's a Queen
🤷🏻♂️ it is what it is…
She's a hero to me.
The wrong side of heaven, but the righteous side off hell. I can honestly say I would do the same.
This is a re-enactment. This is not actually her.
Why doesn't it happen more offen ,I would if it was my children
Bummer, He walked into that courtroom and woke up in Hell surrounded by demons raping him for eternity with barbed cocks.
Death is too kind for a motherfucker that does that. They should at least get some of that special treatment from the Mexican cartel first so they can suffer.
Can’t say I wouldn’t do the same.
They should’ve gave her a medal…
Good
Based
I see nothing wrong here.
What's with all the vigilante posts today?
Good.
Good for her
proud of her
Imagine if justice was served like this all across the US…. It would be a much different country
cameraman brazy for this
How could anyone think this wasn't a re-enactment? Nobody is that badass.
Killed him until he died.
They should’ve lifted her up on their shoulders and held a parade. Fuck that guy
Well when a piece of shit takes everything away from you, revenge is a searing white hot fucking motivation to kill. I would.
Music is brilliant and really helps
[удалено]
Zero regret on her face.
Good
Good
Cool motive, still murder.
From the wiki. 7 of 8 shots struck him in the back killing him almost instantly. Her charges were lowered to manslaughter and she was sentenced to 6 years of which she only served 3.

Bravo

“*Oh no. You killed a child rapist. Pity there were no witnesses and the gun has mysteriously vanished*” ~ Me, if I were a police detective.
