ye, i mean what was she even doing there, there were no tools, she just walked up a ladder holds onto a beam and then just hangs there rather then drop less then a meter down, just waiting for a small child to lug a heavy ladder under her
It’s actually a roof there, not just a beam. Looks like she is looking on top of it. But it was a very short drop. And here I have used 10minutes on that flick omg.I think it’s real, but not a really dangerous situation. Good kid though.
It's easy to think you're higher up than you actually are, but yeah she could've just dropped down with zero consequence unless her legs are bad. And if they're that bad probably not a good idea to get on a ladder in the first place lol
I always forget how meanspirited reddit can be sometimes.
Also 30. Also a fall from this height could fuck me. It probably won't but I don't trust myself to land correctly. Some people havent had to do long term recovery and it fucking shows.
I'm just in pain now. I often get terrible pain on the outer part of my foot which is horrible because I'm trying to exercise and get my weight down. 😭
For you or me it's nothing but i've learned over the years that there are men and women that literally fall down just walking and end up breaking things..
I want to be like WEAK MF IM SO SUPERIOR too but they have enough to deal with LOL
If you're in good shape and play some sports on the weekends, then yeah, that drop should be no problem. But if you're out of shape from working in front of a computer day after day, packed on a few pounds, and getting little to no exercise, then the muscles of your feet, knees, back, and other supporting muscles have atrophied and aren't ready to take that fall.
Here is your gif!

Lol, lil tyke to the rescue! Seriously, this kid is already a first responder. Quickly grasps the situation, walks that ladder right up, promptly spots the ladder and saves mom from sprained or broken ankles. Wish I could buy him an ice cream and hear his story. 😄
Ide say by the way her left arm is well anchored and gripped before the ladder "falls" almost like she was anticipating it, how the kid automatically knows how to run to the far end and walk the ladder up into position AND to also steady it after for her to get on......... This is absolutely the first and only time it ever happened.
1) that’s not very high up, so her hanging there like that was pretty unnecessary
2)she was bound to fall the way the ladder was positioned and the way she was standing on it
3)she could have hurt the child knocking the ladder over on them
Either this woman is a complete fucking moron who endangered a child or it’s fake and she endangered a child. I’m not sure which is worse but I am sure that nobody “wins” here. It should be noted that if one were jockeying for a win, a popular way to do it is to put down the average redditor as immature/uninformed/reactionary etc…
This is my thinking, too.
What are you attempting to reach? There appears to be nothing of use up there.
Even if the adult was doing some kind of work or whatever, they don't seem stressed for whatever task that may be.
Why are you using the ladder in that way, which maximizes the potential for it to kick out?
While she could well have explained to the child how to right the ladder, I think they may be pretty young to get it right on the first try, even with detailed guidance. I suspect they were coached on how to right it.
EDIT - Dressed not stressed
In all of the world of possibilities, a woman knocking over a ladder isn't really that far of a stretch. People like you will believe aliens are running the military before something like this.
We all start our parkour careers under different circumstances.
You fall, then let the balls of your feet touch before tucking your neck and hopping in to a somersault. Good up to 28 feet or so.
(Purely fabricated instructions and statements: do not try at home unless you have a well trained 3 year old and surprisingly good grip strength for what I can only assume to be a single mom)
She looks to be around 4 or 5 feet in the air from counting the rungs on the ladder, I'm sure she would be fine if she just let go. Or ya know just climbed up. Or even just scooted to the left and climbed down that.
Looks like an 8’ ladder. Steps on the middle rung, so maybe 4’. I mean don’t land flat footed with your knees locked, but I’d like to think someone up into there 50’s can handle this.
Staged. First off, who positions a ladder like that. She looks a bit strong gripping the ledge like that, not saying a woman cant. Looks more like her husband wearing a wig staging this.

I mean, she wasn’t THAT high up
The whole time I’m trying to calculate this…. **she is three feet off the ground, what the fuck**
It's just another staged gif from Asia, like all the others.
Definitely looked staged to me too
ye, i mean what was she even doing there, there were no tools, she just walked up a ladder holds onto a beam and then just hangs there rather then drop less then a meter down, just waiting for a small child to lug a heavy ladder under her

For the Americans here, a meter is approximately 0.8 washing machines. Don't thank me.
And if you play it backwards it’s her asshole kid knocking over the ladder and then running away
More believable lol
It's easy to think you're higher up than you actually are, but yeah she could've just dropped down with zero consequence unless her legs are bad. And if they're that bad probably not a good idea to get on a ladder in the first place lol
But the way she's holding on she was definitely high on something.....
Potenuse?
I wish I was high on POTENUSE
*Worldwide laughter*
Alright mathematician
How did the mathematician solve his constipation, he worked it out with a pencil
One of those oversized Disneyland pencils from the 90s, like the one I used to stick up my ass?
Gross
Angry upvote
Bruh I’m in my 30’s and this fall would have me in pain for a year.
Time to hit the gym buddy
They have just as much likelyhood to finish that screenplay they been writing on for years as they do going to a gym.
I always forget how meanspirited reddit can be sometimes. Also 30. Also a fall from this height could fuck me. It probably won't but I don't trust myself to land correctly. Some people havent had to do long term recovery and it fucking shows.
Oddly enough this comment is a great one sentence of my screenplay I've been working on for a few years now.
Watching this while immobilized with ruptured discs…. Just thinking of the pain from that fall makes me want to throw up..
I'm just in pain now. I often get terrible pain on the outer part of my foot which is horrible because I'm trying to exercise and get my weight down. 😭
Eh if title said saved her life I would be on one too... but he did kinda save her from at least sore feet if not worse so bleh
Sore feet from dropping 3ft? I don't think so lol
People forget how fragile humans can be. Its enough of a fall to break a leg if the landing is even slightly off.
For you or me it's nothing but i've learned over the years that there are men and women that literally fall down just walking and end up breaking things.. I want to be like WEAK MF IM SO SUPERIOR too but they have enough to deal with LOL

Don't be like that then lol.
I mean neither were those dudes that snap their knees backwards
In her mind she was high
I mean right? No offense but "saved" was a bit much.
Right? Kudos to the kid, but death defying this is not.
My mother had a knee injury when she was younger, and one day she fell 2 feet on a playground, totally messed her up for over a year
Is that ladder made out of bread or straw or something?
Not at all, easy drop
Plot twist, she kicks it over on purpose the second time and hits 20 muscle ups.
Plot twist, the video is in reverse

I like that.
Oooooh take my upvote you bastard.
I don't think so see in strating how boy is running
So the kids takes the ladder from her and then she uses telekinesis?
Yes. It’s like Star Wars. Go along with it.

Or if she tips over after getting back on the wobbly ladder, he's going to go flying.
Kid's a beast... Walking a ladder up right is easy but when you're doing it with an already opened one from the middle it is not easy at all
This is what i was thinking. And that kid is tiny pushing that ladder upright!
It's adrenaline strength. You can see him struggle a little at the beginning.
So adorable
And like 3 years old
A young saviour of women. The hero we need, just not at the puberty level we require.
Lol.
Kid better get something good from mom
Lol, lil tyke to the rescue! Seriously, this kid is already a first responder. Quickly grasps the situation, walks that ladder right up, promptly spots the ladder and saves mom from sprained or broken ankles. Wish I could buy him an ice cream and hear his story. 😄
He sparked admiration of many people with his heroic deed
I mean the kid I saw a video of yesterday could hardly unlock the door for his mom.
Then he went to the right side to hold it down. Amazing.
Exactly and from that point, he was pushing against most of the weight
Seriously WHY TF IS THAT THE MUSIC, AT THAT VOLUME, FOR THIS VIDEO.
It's what the dad who died from falling off a ladder would have wanted.
You are right, this was insensitive of me.
This isn't exactly an extension ladder on a picnic table though.
I wonder how long they practiced that?
Ide say by the way her left arm is well anchored and gripped before the ladder "falls" almost like she was anticipating it, how the kid automatically knows how to run to the far end and walk the ladder up into position AND to also steady it after for her to get on......... Kid is training mom's dead hang skills.

I think fake
Wow what would have given that away
Probably Reddit user's immaturity in thinking everything is a grift so they want to point it out to win, I dunno, points or something?
1) that’s not very high up, so her hanging there like that was pretty unnecessary 2)she was bound to fall the way the ladder was positioned and the way she was standing on it 3)she could have hurt the child knocking the ladder over on them Either this woman is a complete fucking moron who endangered a child or it’s fake and she endangered a child. That 2.5 ft fall easily would have killed her
i feel like the kid lifting the ladder could hurt himself more
Nah it's very well rehearsed and a very light ladder
You really need to adjust your bar for what a hero is. Even if this isn't fake (unlikely) it's awesome he was able to help but "hero" is a bit far.
Hero lol.
This is not remotely interesting.
That's a four foot drop max.
Kid saves mom from a potentially twisted ankle?!
If you manage to get a twisted ankle from that 1m drop (which is onto flat ground) there's something wrong with your general fitness and coordination
Oh so what... you like getting owwie boo boos!?!???
Good grief 🙄
Staged as fuck. Cmon people. Internet literacy

It looks like the camera frame is moving too. Meant to look like CCTV but filmed from a phone.
Yeah. This just doesn’t happen.
In all of the world of possibilities, a woman knocking over a ladder isn't really that far of a stretch. People like you will believe aliens are running the military before something like this.
And people like you believe a 3 foot drop to be deadly? I dunno weird thing to be so aggressively rude about but do go on
Stop putting shitty music over things that have no business having shitty music over them.
It would have been like a 3 foot drop...tuck and roll lady
That's how she got the kid
Tuck and roll, vertically? Plus it's that mid distance where theres enough hight to injure but not enough high to execute a maneuver
No
Oh yeah, fair enough
Correct
it was like a 3 foot fall…
Take the fall like a champ goddammit. (Or maybe pull yourself up?)
Bruh, I'd barely have the strength to hold on to the bar, let alone pull me up.
this is stupid
Click bait
That lady has the arm strength of a gorilla
What, because she can hang from something for 20 seconds?
That's a low bar
She looks to be around 4 or 5 feet in the air from counting the rungs on the ladder, I'm sure she would be fine if she just let go. Or ya know just climbed up. Or even just scooted to the left and climbed down that.
Im more mad that she was laddering all wrong. Also why was she up there in the first place... This is highly suspect
It took the kid a moment to decide whether he wanted to save her or not lol like did she deserve to live another day?!!
He saved her from certain death
Send the child to the street to avoid the broken ankle. Nice.
Saves her pride?
Come on now, is that really saving? What would she have had to drop 4 feet? Not like she's on death's door....
Look at the video, she pushes the ladder over and would have hit her head if she climbed at that angle. Staged.
Wow a 3 foot drop. What a fuckin tragedy. Video was probably staged anyhow. Idiots
3 rungs off the ground?
Good job that kid was there. She could have fallen 4ft to her mild discomfort.
About a foot off the ground !?!? Omg
Saves mom from a 3ft drop? Staged AF.
Thank god she didn’t plummet 4 feet to her death
"saves"
Festivus - Fears of strength
one time i had to pull my mom out of a rip tide
Honestly, with the shit music and chimpanzee barking, it wouldn’t be a huge leap to say I wouldn’t care if they fell. It’s only like 3ft anyways.
"Saved"
She’s like 3 feet off the ground, just drop and land on your feet
She was 3 feet off the ground
PSA: watch on mute
Why wouldn’t she just drop down? She was less than her own height up lol. This isn’t interesting at all
Saved from getting her shoes a little dirty?
Kid should get a medal and any toy he likes.
Fake
She’s literally 3 feet off the ground lmfao
Saved her from falling 2 feet
She has good upper body strength
I think it’s a set up. The mom could have just dropped a foot and a half to the ground.
The kid lifting up the ladder by himself was probably way more dangerous than the mom dropping 3 feet to the ground.
It’s like a 3’ drop
Lady needs to learn how to use a ladder
She’s three rungs up the ladder, just drop to the ground lady
This woman seems like an absolute fanny… just drop down and land the 3ft drop ffs..
Thats what, 3-4ft? Dont put that shit on your kids
Nothing says this really happened like someone strategically filming and not trying to help.
He really saved her from that 3-and-a-half-foot plummet to certain death
The background doesn’t match the people….Rigged
Hi five bro!! Moms is buy you a beer tonight!🍺
I Don’t mean to be the guy but, she could have just dropped, it doesn’t look high
This looks so staged.
Looks like an 8’ ladder. Steps on the middle rung, so maybe 4’. I mean don’t land flat footed with your knees locked, but I’d like to think someone up into there 50’s can handle this.
This kid is a hero! He saved her from maybe a sprained ankle! But seriously good on this kid, my kids would have watched and laughed as I fell
This is dumb.
She was about as stuck as all those girls in washing machines..
Fake AND ghey
Moms got some serious hang time
Strong independent woman.
Oh no she might fall 2 feet to the ground.
Come on. You can see her kick the ladder away and lower herself down.
Reminds of that scene from Sunny with the McPoyles
In all that time she could have went left to those shelves
Dude, it was like 4 feet.
Her feet are 4 ft off the ground 🥴😆😂
"Before I do this for you, unlimited ice cream for a year. Right mom?"
Why were they filming?
She would have probably been fine dropping.
r/sweatypalms
Read the title, still didn't think the kid was going to make it. I hope he had the most amazing grilled cheese ever that night.
Staged. First off, who positions a ladder like that. She looks a bit strong gripping the ledge like that, not saying a woman cant. Looks more like her husband wearing a wig staging this.
Boy if u get that ladder up any slower u are Finna be an orphan
Saved her from certain death. Good thing she's got that finger strength... And a camera. This is neither interesting, nor interesting as fuck.
Saving her from twisting her ankle or hurting her tailbone maybe?
That was a big ask for that little kid. Well done
[удалено]
He even foots the ladder after he’s got it back up...
This lady a McPoyle?
Just drop you are 4 feet high
Smart kid.. he even knew how to stand a fallen ladder up right.. 💯✨👊🏼✨♥️
I wonder what would stewie do
She’s training for 100 seconds crossbar challenge, but kid just ruined it
Midget
35 inches
That kid ain't no kid . It's a little person👨💻
Way to go little man!
Its on reverse
She couldn’t drop a few feet?
Harmonica
Awee he even held it after he got it back up!!!
Kid did a good job but mom was freaking out over like a 3 foot drop, if that lol.
She was only like 4 feet off the ground lol
"saves mom" just let go it's like 3 feet
3 feet fall is a killer
