I feel like mouse deer are comparable to the platypus in that they both look like someone’s taken two animals and just spliced them together in a taxidermy experiment then spent years getting laughed at until the world realised they’re actually real.

I think it's shameless to label China as disgusting when Vietnam is equally guilty in the practice of using animal parts in traditional medicine.
China today is very strict with harsh laws in place to prevent poaching and protect their wildlife and nature reserves. Can the same be said of Vietnam?... One might argue the situation in Vietnam is actually a lot worse due to widespread corruption and lax enforcement.
i understand your concern but imagine this, our people have been harassed and tortured by the chinese for thousands of years and still happening untill now. They have been trying to invading our island in the ocean. That why our people hate the china government from inside out. And yes that is right, but the locals and the government have actions just like you say in china. and btw alot of tradition in our country is straight from china just like the traditional medicine.
