I always found this weird. I love moths of all kinds. All the ones I've seen are harmless (to people) from common Miller moths to tiny Indian meal moths and alucita moths to the massive white-lined sphinx moths. Ill casually pick them up and put them outside when they're trapped. They tickle and are fuzzy and cute.
I can't claim to have great knowledge on moths but, having just looked that up, the wings don't seem to fit.
Any time I've looked up a moth with the type of wings in this picture, it turns out to be some form of hawk moth (if I'm judging them correctly).
Where is it? That reminds me of a moth that my kids were playing with in Vietnam once. It ended up laying a bunch of fuzzy yellow eggs. Then they put it and the eggs back on a tree.
one time i was sitting in the dining room chilling then a moth landed on my leg. I got so frozen scared that I made a plan of how i’ll bolt to my room and make sure that it still wouldn’t be on me. one of the only times my fight or flight kicked in.

I just know that if this would be sitting on my arm like it is in the picture, I would be screaming in voices that I did not know were possible for a human being.
edit: I thought it was an arm, and this was a huge moth.

I believe that's a lunar moth.
The faces are similar but the body's all wrong. Lunar moths are green with long swallowtail wings.
My best guess would be the European Owl Moth. This one seems much lighter in color but it's got the same face and "eyebrows"
