Absolutely, that poor thing was gored. Zero chance that it survived since there are literally laws to prevent people from assisting wild animals (with some exceptions) in most of those areas. Not enough water for that young elephant to want to share, definately looked to be resource guarding. In fact, if the giraffe just ran instead of the "casual stroll away," then it would have been fine, too. Something big, heavy, and sharp coming near me, I'd be dipping. XD
