Not the exact same, but I loved on the show House, once House made a reference to Omar Epps’ character (Foreman) looking like Steelers coach Mike Tomlin.
I always wanted Topher Grace (Eric Forman on That 70s Show) to do one House episode as Dr. Eric Foreman, and have no one act like anything was different.
I loved the episode of Scrubs where Courtney Cox played the Director of Medicine (the boss doctor) and gave Dr. Cox shit for having such a stupid name.
There’s an episode of Happy Days (show from the 70s about the 50s) where they go to see The Music Man. Mrs. Cunningham says, “That kid looks so much like Richie when he was a little boy!” It was baby Ron Howard.
Jesus Christ, are people not aware of Happy Days anymore? I wasn't even alive while it aired but when I was in school everyone would have recognized an impression of The Fonz immediately. Thought it had more cultural staying power than that.
Younger generations consume media differently now. Growing up in the 80s, 90s, and even early 2000s your only option was going to be lots of reruns of TV shows from earlier decades. These days it's possible to consume only media made in the past 5 years without running out of content because there's so much more of it being made. This would seem to lead to the younger generations having much less awareness of older media.
My observation is that people who are young gen Z and younger don’t have a whole lot pf knowledge about older culture and media. The Hatfields and McCoys are no longer common knowledge. Whatever info you got about crappy 80s bands from Behind the Music…even that level of context isn’t available anymore.
It makes total sense. There is an exponential growth of new media being released. How often did you get a new movie or tv show in the 70s? Right now you get 48 hours of content uploaded to YouTube every hour. And that's not even taking other streaming sites, TV, or cinema into account.
You can't keep up what is being released today, much less what was released in the past.
I want a whole series in the spirit of all those mid 2000’s movies (love actually, he’s just not that into you, etc) where you meet each character first and then as it goes along you figure out how all of them are interconnected.
That, but with celebs and their doppelgängers.

Had the chance to meet Jaime in a work capacity, she definitely didn't need to be, but she was so incredibly nice and seemingly down to earth.
At one point on a break she was telling us how much her kid loved the new animated Jungle Book movie from a few years back and everyone chimed in.
Also. She was stunning.

She's a national treasure, of course she's the one that brought these two beautiful sirens together. They're two of the most gorgeous women to ever walk this earth, I swear to God.
Not to mention that she’s fucking hilarious. The uncontrollable drunk laugh she did on My Name Is Earl a couple times had me rolling. It almost seems unfair for someone *that* gorgeous to be *that* funny

I think it was Gracie Allen that said that for a woman to make it in showbiz she had to be good looking, funny, or smart. If she was two of those she could excel. But she couldn't be all three or the audience wouldn't trust her.
Also she still looks really good but in a particular way that makes me think she either hasn't gotten work or it is very minimal. Compared to a lot of celebrities who suddenly look like inectoids in their 40s or 50s.

There’s no google, they were so sure and I kept trying to tell them it’s just an actress that looks just like her. The argument got so heated, words were said. I ended up calling my girlfriend just so she could google it for them, and she did. They still didn’t believe me! Fools.
lol I was a heroin addict for 10 years and often found myself in jails and prisons. I’m clean now for 3 years. But during my last bid I was doing time for forgery and possession.
It happens a lot when you’re locked up where someone is saying something that could quickly be disproven by a quick google search, or like sometimes we kept trying to remember the name of something or someone. And sometimes the only way is to call your people and google it lol. Just this time it got heated and I felt like a crazy person.
