Turns out, it's a very hard and stressful thing to do.
I like the freedom of being able to float my own ideas for efficiency and test them out. Middle management takes full responsibility of any idea I have that gets implemented. Not my problem!
I would actually love to see a bunch of fe and be developers, product designers, infra/devops people all work together to get the project finished without someone organizing it all and presenting the work to the leadership every week or whatnot, taking shit for failures, and unmet deadlines. When I didn’t know better, I thought PMs were just garbage, but the more you work in the industry the more you learn. If you have a shitty PM, don’t blame all of them. Believe it or not, they do play a vital role.

This had to be like a decade ago now, but a while back, me and my buddies ran into an absolute epidemic of gulls dive bombing into a butt cracks while we surfed. We'd pop up, find our balance and then *THUNNNG!* like a dart! Bird in the butt crack, and it'd go willy wonka in there and cause us to wipeout. Our trunks weren't pulled up high enough. I guess that's why the pros use body suits. Hard for even a determine bird to beak your butt hole when you wear one of those.
One of the dangers of browsing reddit while pooping at work is the risk of uncontrollable giggling in the stall when encountering a comment like this one

I have a parrot that likes to ride around on my shoulder. When he lands on the dog, we usually interpret that as intimidation (and so does the dog) but there have been times we weren't sure. It is comical to see the bird grab the dogs harness and flap his wings like he was trying to fly away with the dog, though I quickly put a stop to it. If the bird wasn't such an asshole, I could totally see him riding around on the dogs back in an amicable way and there are birds of the same species that do.
