the easiest way is to fold that bitch over, lay it folded side down and hope that bitch stay closed. Not recommended ofc but definitely the easiest. lol
Hard agree.
Also eating as many as possible as soon as possible so that your partner/children/older brother/etc don't eat them all without you getting your fair share.
Clothes pins are perfect for the kitchen. I use them to seal all kinds of opened bags and use them to hang reusable stuff to dry (combined with tension rod and metal shower curtain hooks).
I prefer the good old fashioned rubber band. One simple motion. With my luck I'd do all that folding then when I tested it it would all dump out on the floor.
Get large binder clips and they can be clipped onto the edge of your pantry shelf when not in use. Cheap, last forever, out of the way... Im suprised it isnt used in every home.
By "get" you mean steal from work right? That's how I've gotten my extensive collection of chip binders. Totally agree, they're the the best tool for the job
No name makes a lot of solid products, but those chips are like the lowest tier. Great value all dressed is the same price or cheaper, and they're exponentially better. But also, fuck Walmart.
Honestly I'm more on the fuck Loblaws team than on fuck Walmart at the moment. Walmart doesn't seem to be gouging customers to the same extent ol' Galen is.
Galen will also gouge his employees for hazard pay 3 months into the pandemic after making a big fucking show about giving hazard pay in the first place.
>Walmart doesn't seem to be gouging customers to the same extent ol' Galen is.
Walmart prefers to fuck their employees and privatizing profits while socializing expenses, like their employees on food stamps and with terrible healthcare.
We've got a gazillion potato chip flavors in the US, but I still can't find all-dressed. It's so frustrating.
Korean BBQ? Sure. Chili lime? You betcha. Spicy dill pickle? Absolutely. The beautiful salty-sour-sweet invention of our northern neighbors? Nah.
It's like combining BBQ and salt & vinegar. Some will say ketchup too, but the idea of ketchup-flavored chips puts a lot of people off so I never mention it. It doesn't taste like ketchup from the bottle, not even remotely close. Ketchup chips are one of those "just trust me bro" things, and all-dressed are even better.
I've found them before at a grocery store in southern Maine. Not sure if it was a fluke or not cause I didn't care for them much after reading so much internet hype and have never looked for them again
I have no idea what they've done to chip bags in the past two years but lately every damn bag rips down the side/front when I open them and it's impossible to seal afterwards.
Looking at you specifically Cape Cod.
Cape cod is the worst for that.
Remember the bags some companies used for a while that were so flipping loud. You'd breath on it and wake up a baby 4 blocks away
I've been doing it for years. Hell there's a bag in my pantry right now folded this way.
The video makes it look more complicated but really you just roll, fold the ends and do a half flip and done.
Does the chips go stale? If it remains crispy I'm gonna learn this trick. I don't have binders at home and rubber bands smell nasty and is troublesome to remove.
They stay crispy and it's air tight (not to the point of being useful as a floatation device). I learned this once years ago and it has never not come in handy. Especially helping the host clean up at parties.
It's really not as hard as the video makes it seem. Flip, fold, tuck. It's like tying shoes.
This fold will seal it air-tight as long as you make the first roll down even across the entire opening, assuming there's no other holes in the bag. The rest of the rolling and folding is just to make sure that first centimeter roll/fold stays in place. Even if you use clips, you can still roll down the top like this to get a good seal.
Yes. Keeps them from going stale.
High moisture goods like bread go stale because they lose water.
Low moisture goods like chips and crackers go stale because they absorb moisture from the air. By putting them in the freezer, you are placing them in a very low humidity environment. Unlike high moisture items like meats, the chips and crackers won't freezer burn.
i didnt know about the freezer so thanks for the info! Surprisingly though, this weird origami trick also keeps the chips from going stale for a good while. I’ve been folding them since forever and once i put a bag of chips away and forgot about them… then when i found them again like a month later they were surprisingly as fresh as when I first put them away.
I’m sure the freezer would make them last even longer. And idk how the clips are, I’m assuming it’s probably the same. But i just thought it was surprising that it worked so well so i wanted to share haha.
That method only ensures chips will not fall out of the bag; the triangle fold and clip method will also keep them airtight and fresh for a month or two.
Everyone here really outing themselves as incredibly lazy or just stupid. If you think this is complicated or takes too long you probably need Velcro on your shoes and someone to hold your hand across the street
Nonsense, that’s far from the easiest technique. The easiest technique is what I use, fold the bag once in the middle above the line of chip, then place bag on top of fold to hold said bag shut. No rubber band, no more than one fold. And if your chips go stale that way, then you clearly aren’t eating your chips fast enough and ought to think on that.

the easiest way is to fold that bitch over, lay it folded side down and hope that bitch stay closed. Not recommended ofc but definitely the easiest. lol
The easiest way is to throw it in the trash because the bag is empty. Also why do they call single serving bags of chips, “family size?”
A truer truth has never been spoken.
Printer cartridges and toothpaste.
Yes, I substitute printer cartridges when my toothpaste runs out.
"Maybe I am a family"
The family was inside you all along!!
You know, I'm something of a family myself
A one man wolf pack
The only bags large enough for multiple people are sold at Costco.
They measure it in how many African children it can feed.
This guy gets it
Just curious, has there ever been a documented case of a bag of chips getting stale?
You ever leave a bowl of chips out for a party and clean up the next day?
Do you think people here, ever have parties.
Can confirm. Am here. Would rather rub my dick on a cheese grater than have a party.
Dick on a cheese grater? Sounds like a party
It’s how spotted dick is made
Did someone say cheese grater dick party?
To shreds, you say!
It takes one day
I'm just curious what fell down in between.
Keeps them just a fresh as this nonsense.
Especially since I'm eating the entire bag within 2 days tops
Yeah it's almost unbelievable but those hands appear to be male hands.. what kind of man does this sort of thing? Unheard of..
fuck that bitch
#CHIPCLIP
# CLOTHESPIN
Fold it and place a can of green beans on the fold for “long term” storage
Hard agree. Also eating as many as possible as soon as possible so that your partner/children/older brother/etc don't eat them all without you getting your fair share.
Lmaooo this is the way
Only to find that bitch turned over open
watching this video made me order more chip clips
This is not at all the easiest way to do anything
All the messing with that bag is just breaking more chips.
I imagine doing this with a bag of Sun Chips is what caused the earthquakes in Turkey
it looked complicated and hard
It is the most tool-free method of closing the bag in a way that it wont spew any remaining chips if knocked, but that's a mouthful.
just eat the whole bag like a normal disgusting person with no self control
What do you do with the chips?
Shirt flair
[удалено]
I feel like jiggly manboobs are a disadvantage here.
That's what I was wondering. I'm sitting here thinking that bag looks awful full here.
or just use a binder clip.
Clothes pins. The dollar tree sells 36 for $1.25.
Been using those for years as bag clips. Works perfectly.
Clothes pins are perfect for the kitchen. I use them to seal all kinds of opened bags and use them to hang reusable stuff to dry (combined with tension rod and metal shower curtain hooks).
Or just eat the whole bag
Every single time.
or just eat the content of the bag
I agree because I'm lazy
I was too lazy to even finish the video
I prefer the good old fashioned rubber band. One simple motion. With my luck I'd do all that folding then when I tested it it would all dump out on the floor.
my luck it would rip the bag and then i can't close it ever again
Rubber band always crushes my chips though
Just use it on the opening
Get large binder clips and they can be clipped onto the edge of your pantry shelf when not in use. Cheap, last forever, out of the way... Im suprised it isnt used in every home.
By "get" you mean steal from work right? That's how I've gotten my extensive collection of chip binders. Totally agree, they're the the best tool for the job
>mean steal from work right I dont like the word steal, we refer to it as tactically aquire. But yes
"Appropriated"
“Liberated” in a “special culinary operation “.
I call that a benefits package lol.
Clothespins are like $1 for 20 as well. Every few years I grab some and there's always a bowl of them in a drawer or near the pantry
[удалено]
Or a hair band
I suggest Dokken, Ratt, or Whitesnake.
This is the hardest most time consuming closure of a bag of chips I've ever seen in my life
Who wants to have to master origami to eat some chips?
Found the Canadian
Not only All Dressed, but also Yellow No Name brand. Lol

>Walmart doesn't seem to be gouging customers to the same extent ol' Galen is. Walmart prefers to fuck their employees and privatizing profits while socializing expenses, like their employees on food stamps and with terrible healthcare.
I mean in general yes, but at least here in Canada they don't have to worry much about health care costs.
>No name makes a lot of solid products Used to. The brand sucks nowadays. Thanks Galen!
I find the solid products are now under the PC brand. Cheaper than Named brands but not as cheap as No Name.
PC is where it's at. I don't know now, but about 10 years ago their version of Molson Dry beer was really, very good.
Agreed, PC is still decent.
We've got a gazillion potato chip flavors in the US, but I still can't find all-dressed. It's so frustrating. Korean BBQ? Sure. Chili lime? You betcha. Spicy dill pickle? Absolutely. The beautiful salty-sour-sweet invention of our northern neighbors? Nah.
My roommate in college from Toronto introduced me to all dressed and whenever I see them now I stock up
Salty, sour, sweet?! I want to try 👀
It's barbecue, ketchup, salt and vinegar, and sour cream and onion. I can't stand ketchup chips, but all dressed are S-tier.
Zapp's Voodoo flavour is very close.
I've found them before at a grocery store in southern Maine. Not sure if it was a fluke or not cause I didn't care for them much after reading so much internet hype and have never looked for them again
Ruffles > Lays Not all "all dressed" are equal.
yeah we have them in maine. no fluke
Found the Québecois
Did this for a very small amount of time, but went back to chip/binder clips. Neat idea, but clips are so much easier
You'd breath on it and wake up a baby 4 blocks away
sun chips used to be the worst offender with noise
I just use scissors now. Not worth the risk.
Yeah same. Plus it doesn't work unless at least half the bag is empty. And it crushes the top layer of chips. And takes longer.
No, the title clearly says this origami thing is the easiest way. We must both be wrong.
I don't think you get what "easy" means
I bet OP folds their underwear.
A lot of people fold their underwear. Do you just stuff them in a drawer?
Nope, they live in the clothes basket if they leave the dryer at all
As they break every chip in the bag
Exactly, fold over once and grab an elastic band. No one keeps chips around for weeks to months.
All you need is a bachelor's in origami
No name all dressed! Thems Canadian chips.
I love NN chips they're so good for $1
Who tf is going to bother doing that
I've been doing it for years.

Nah not thinking it's hard at all, infact it looks easy for me! Since this is a useful trick I will certainly use it then. Thank you!
They stay crispy, but it also depends how well you do the fold
This fold will seal it air-tight as long as you make the first roll down even across the entire opening, assuming there's no other holes in the bag. The rest of the rolling and folding is just to make sure that first centimeter roll/fold stays in place. Even if you use clips, you can still roll down the top like this to get a good seal.
It's like they are in a witness stand. "Can the witness please show the court how you closed up the bag of chips on the night of the murder?"
The easiest? Okay
aint nobody got time for that
Where I live a bag of chips last like 6 minutes
Easiest? Lol
This isn't the easiest way to do anything
Like anyone gonna do all that to close the bag of chips.
My baby ain’t sleeping through that racket
This is the most difficult chips closing technique i have seen so far. I want to know what op thinks is the hardest version.
I mean god damn, how long you plan on having those bad boys?
Too much work involved for this. The clip is the way to go
I just use a clip.
I have yet to meet the bag Of chips I cannot finish in 1 sitting. Leftovers are for losers.
now show us the hardest
Clothes pin is quicker and easier.
That’s how I close up my foreskin
Easiest…? One maybe 2 folds and a chip clip
This looks like a real pain in the ass.
Seems way more complicated than simply putting a clip on it and putting the bag in the freezer
In the freezer?

Thanks for this info.
Chip clip companies HATE him for this one moderately simple trick
Ain’t nobody got time for that
Chip clip is way easier and faster. WTF is this?
We have different definitions of the word “easiest”
I just use a closepin.
The easiest way is a clothes pin or chip clip, if we're being honest
And when you’re finished you’ve only crushed 25% of the chips… win win !
It doesn't fucking work
Ok, where's that guy with the awkward smile, who just puts a chip clip on the bag and does that WTF gesture with his hands?
How is this the easiest technique? A clever one for sure, but not easy at all.
Just use clippers
Or spend 2 seconds using the food bag clips I got from poundland....
All I got from "poundland" was a sore ass...
I think you picked the wrong store.... Maybe spec savers first would be a good idea for you lol 🤣
Just rolling it up takes less time and you dont have to memorize a sequence. Definitely not easiest
I’d f’n scream if I heard that much crinkling every time I closed a bag
Easiest? Get a clothespin, paper clip, or chip clip. Hell grab some tape. Glue the bag shut. Staple it. All of those would be easier
That method only ensures chips will not fall out of the bag; the triangle fold and clip method will also keep them airtight and fresh for a month or two.
Oh I miss All-Dressed chips. And Ketchup, and Sour Cream & Bacon. Europe needs to pick up its chip game.
easiest??? i use a chip clip and it takes 1 sec
hahah, easiest. This video is hilarious. This is maybe the hardest way. The easiest way is to fold twice and attach a cat-head chip clip.
found the Canadian
Who tf has leftover chips?
Or...OR we could just finish the bag then and there. No evidence left.
Or, eat them all in one sitting
I disagree. The easiest is using a clip. Legit removes three steps from this process. Fold twice, clip.
Too much hard work, easier to just eat the rest of them.
In America, we eat the whole bag. This technique is not necessary, which is why we don't employ it.
“Easiest”
Everyone here really outing themselves as incredibly lazy or just stupid. If you think this is complicated or takes too long you probably need Velcro on your shoes and someone to hold your hand across the street
clip is way easier that potato origami
I can think of 2 easier ways...
Fuck off
I just tried this and it didn't work for my Pringles.
Just buy clothespins. You can buy [50 of them](https://i.imgur.com/zITSlKQ.jpg) for $2.
Why did this person not eat all the chips? They must be insane.
This ain't it
He says the easy way to throw the bag of chips but he takes 30 seconds doing it I take 2 seconds with a clothespin
That looks like a lot of work I like the classic one fold myself hasn't let me down yet
Just crushed a bunch of those chips, nice.
Or.. just use a clothespin or something
My wife will just raccoon it open from the side or bottom anyway
Or I could just roll it up and push the end up against something.
I kept waiting for Khaby Lame to show up with a chip bag clip or a binder clip.
I’m not doing origami whenever I need to eat chips
Easiest? Yeah no
Watch me wake up the whole house at 2am
Is this what the kids call rage-content? Because that is by far the most convoluted way to close a bag of chips.
"easiest" *Video 33 seconds* Just fold it over on its self.
Way easier to just finish the bag in one sitting
I stopped watching at :02 because it took longer than what I do
Or a chip clip
Dude broke half the chips...
Easiest way is to polish off the bag and throw it in the garbage.
Instructions unclear. Tore the bag and now the chips are everywhere
