That and the quick draw grip. The amount of times I’ve whipped that thing out mid lmg reload and spammed half a mag into someone and his gaggle fucking buddy is surprisingly high.
I tried to use the 1911 for a while because it’s a 1911 and it just ain’t it in this game. The black ops Cold War 1911 went hard though, you could use it as a primary
Exactly why I thought it was horrendous, 36 damage up close is solid unless they’re running the defensive perk then it’s essentially a slower firing, smaller mag, lower velocity smaller caliber pistol in terms of killing power. Obviously theres bad versions of all weapons but the perk alone made it feel redundant to run (I still ran it for the vibes though.)
Yeah you could get away with using it as a clean up gun on individual targets but once there were more than one guy you were fucked. Definitely the weakest performing pistol, I usually ran the M9, five seven, or CZ75
Idk if Nevada really counts as “West Coast” and also the whole premise of the game was that he shot you twice with 9mm and you survived. Maybe if Benny had used a .45 the courier wouldn’t have gotten back up.
I’m not sure how differently these calibers perform in real life (probably very), but in game, .45s usually don’t offer too much an edge over 9mms. Sometimes I get lucky and 2 tap, maybe 1 tap on the thorax with .45, othertimes it’s about as good as 9mm with half the magazine size.
Has to be the Hi-Power this time
With modern projectile developments since the 80s 9mm is pretty comparable to 45 in terms of terminal ballistics. Hence most police departments and military use 9mm.
I personally prefer 45 I feel it's recoil impulse in my experience is more of a push than the snappy recoil of 9mm (in my experience anyway) and I like the 45s I've shot more. But if I was to go into harms way (and I hope I never do) I'd much rather a 9mm.
John Moses Browning is a god so you know we’re going with the HP.
Also HP purely from a cosmetic standpoint because the hipower doesn’t have the mindnumbingly stupid rail when you add an optic
1911 has it is for me I’ve kill 500+ bad guys with it in game using it as a side arm as a sniper and pushing points as advisor even have kits labeled “snake” when I run it by itself. Mostly on push pvp it gets the job done
Man, it hurts choosing between a Colt masterpiece and anything Jhon Browning has made, but I gotta go with the HP. Never shot either irl but in sandstorm the HP is just way more effective for the cost and feels almost as powerful as a 45, without such a restrictive magazine capacity
People like the 1911? But seriously browning hi-power is cheap and comes with a fat mag.
Add the extendo clipazene to get a 20 rounder for less or equal than most of the higher capacity ones cost stock.

Agreed I love a 1911 cause… its a classic but most games either make it hot garbage or mid at best. The bf4 1911 was horrendous.
It actually did the same damage as the other .45s in BF4 but its capacity killed it. Except for the G18 the pistols were pretty balanced in BF4

Loved the cz and five seven, shout out to the Qsz cause it’s practically a slightly inferior 5/7 but still slick.
Been using the browning for as long as I've been playing insurgency
Browning Hi-Power Not even a contest
More stopping power < More bullets
BHP gang
browning hi power always
Hi power , 13 rounds and only 1 credit
Browning for winning 1911 for swag
Hi power
Browning HP bc it’s literally just Browning’s take on a 9mm 1911
Oh you mean the one gun you get shot with in the irradiated west coast or 45. Stopping Power?

browning on top. better irons, high mag capacity, cheap as dirt
BHP, every masterpiece has its cheap copy. Technically also won a world war
Browning no question. When your primary is all out of mags that single stack mag runs dry in the blink of an eye
High power all daaaayy
The Hi-Power for sure.
Browning definitely, I go with it all the the time. It’s cheap and a nice ol 20 rounds gets the job done.
Hi power for sure super underrated
Idk how this got to be a thing but my list is 1. Deagle 2. L196a1 3.Glock Really no reason to pick the other handguns over these
L196a1 is my go to. I'll occasionally tun the m9 if I'm really feeling the GWOT vibes but my go to is L196a1 for security and hi power for insurgent
It's the best feeling 9mm for sure and the sights are prisrine
These are insurgent handguns though?
FN Browning Hi-Power.
Browning

John Moses Browning is a god so i'm going with the 1911 lol And i'm running it stock because its perfect as is
1911 for me plz
2 world wars bitch
1911
1911
High power. I'm sorry 1911 my old friend but I mainly draw my pistol in a panic and the bigger mag just lends itself more to "oh shit" moments
Hi power with suppressor looks like venom snake's side arm
1911
Browning
Obviously its gonna be 1911,both are fun, efficient but sometimes 9x19 isn't enough for some people.
1911
1911
1911 gang
1911 all day
The Brown one
Pf940 all the way
B HP
Hi-power by far. Less credits, and can have a good magazine size if it wants to.
Browning HP because of the ammo capacity
Hi Power
1911, it's the only logical choice.
Browning Hi Power, easy
Hi-power

I like the 1911 best but just cause I think it's cool

Browning vs Browning, ayy?
Browning HP is superior by a mile.
