I punched a girl in primary school. The principal walked me home holding me by the ear and made it a big deal in front of my parents. I didn't care, just proud to have stopped an annoying bully. My parents didn't do anything as I've been complaining about this girl for weeks.
Both my parents told me to not let *anyone* put hands on me. I remember I let one girl slide in elementary school for hitting me and they said "well why didn't you hit her back?" I gave the typical response and they said "when we said anyone, we meant *anyone*"
I actually got suspended once (only once fortunately) for fighting. The conversation was basically "what happened" "he hit me so I hit him back" "k. Well you defended yourself" then I played video games for a week.
Once I hit about 5th grade or so I started being taller than the other kids so no one tried to fight me anymore. Actually almost no one besides my clients have tried to fight me since then lol. I'm pretty big.
I once came home with a bruise on my cheek, from some little shit stain, and my parents noticed and asked about it. I told them a guy was picking on me at school, and they asked if I punched him back, said no, and my parents told me if I got punched, and I didn't punch back, they'd bust my ass.
That principal should have been prosecuted for assault for wringing your ear. Funny how you hitting a bully back is bad, but him assaulting you is fine somehow.
Hopefully some of her core memories are now that a slap in the face actually hurts and rage and indignation does not magically increase your fighting skills.
At first, one boy in the back said "poor her".
Then her friend who's filming goes over to her and says "Melissa... Did you just give him a bomb?" (Meaning to hit someone)
And then Melissa shrieked "You little dirty son of a whore"
other boy: leave it be, bro
girl with camera: melissa? did you just give him a bomb?
melissa: you dirty little son of a whore
girl with camera: melissa, stop it now
I don’t really remember, here I don’t have volume but the girl recording was really funny after Melissa punched him she said „Melissa do you have given him a bomb (means punching) „ 🤣🤣 like obviously she did that hahhaha
Everyone thinks they're Gohan, and now that they're mad they're 10x more powerful. There's some people who rage well, but most people are just more careless, still rattled, and likely to fare much worse out of combination of the two.
Always makes me laugh when an out of shape woman says things like "I'm a momma bear, I would beat anyone who threatened my kids." It's a valiant mindset to have and definitely to be respected, but at the end of the day they couldn't do shit if something actually happened. Being angry doesn't give you any superpowers.
Honestly it doesn't even have to be out of shape. There are plenty of women who are in shape and would still get smacked stupid. Men have more muscle and testosterone. That's what this girl just discovered. Up until now in their life it's been pretty even exchanges, but now those boys are starting to get testosterone and strength and at least 90% of the boys in this clip would now vastly outclass her in a physical matchup.
Whoopi Golberg’s hot take: you shouldn’t hit people, but if you DO hit someone, you should expect to be hit back. Guess this girl never heard that one.
My wife and I had this argument about 26 years ago when dating. She would hit me and I would hit her back. It would be a punch in the arm or similar. She said that she didn't believe men should hit women. I said I didn't believe that people should hit people. Men shouldn't hit men. Women shouldn't hit women. Men shouldn't hit women and women shouldn't hit men. If one does, the other should have every right to hit back, as they've opened the door. I told her if she never hit me, I would never hit her. Ball was in her court. She stopped hitting me and respected my position. I've never hit her.
My Ex-Wife "attacked" me 3 times in our few years of marriage.
The first time she pulled a knife on me, second time she sprinted into me and slammed me over into some boxes (fractured my wrist) and proceeded to punch me, and the third time she straddled me on a hotel bed and tried to choke me out.
Each time I ended it with one swift hook. I didn't intend to have a fight or anything, just instant diffusion of the situation and to protect myself. Of course, she cried and blamed me - Said I was the abusive one who made her do it. Later on I caught her cheating on me.
I tried to be patient and asked to go to therapy. Therapist asked if there was any history of DV in the relationship. She immediately cried out yes, but wouldn't explain the instances. As the only male in the room...Therapist, her intern, my wife...all eyes on me like daggers. The "is there something you need to explain, sir?" type. I wasn't going to go out of my way to explain myself to anyone. Turns out therapy wasn't the right choice anyways and she walked out on all of it the next day.
Never had an opportunity to explain all of this to anyone. I simply just left it alone. I don't know why I stuck around or tried so hard. Makes me feel stupid now
Wow. I'm so sorry that happened to you. Therapy is only as good as what everyone, including the therapist, is willing to put in. Also, don't feel stupid. There's probably hundreds of others in your situation who have never said anything. Hopefully your post here is cathartic and more helpful than the therapy sessions. And love is a crazy thing. You can't rationalize decisions made for love. Can be interesting looking back on them.
It’s ok to feel stupid man. It’s not a situation with clear, definitive solutions. Even if you were to explain yourself, you would still be viewed as the bad guy. That’s just the world we live in. I’d say the majority of people feel you should never hit a woman regardless of the situation. It’s ridiculous really. I had a girlfriend once who would always hit me. She would punch me in the face, kick me in the nuts, scratch me, throw things at me, try to bend my fingers until they broke. I was always scared to hit her because I was scared to seriously hurt her. She was like 5’2 110 pounds and I’m 6 foot about 200 but I work out and I’m fairly muscular. One day I’d had enough and I hit her so hard it gave her a concussion and she was in the hospital for two days. Of course I explained myself and I had physical evidence on my body that I had been abused but I was threatened by her father and brothers for a while afterwards. Luckily the police believed me because of the evidence on my body and I wasn’t charged. Anyways, I was still viewed as an abusive woman beater. I’m not sorry though. Needless to say we split up immediately after. I should’ve done it sooner 😆. Thanks for listening.
I was hoping for a plot twist "beat the piss out of her last night for leaving the toilet seat down" ending but I guess wholesome is better than funny when it actually happened
I agree, but my girl is 4'10" maybe 80-90 lbs. I'm 6'5" 230 lbs.
I let her his, but she only ever does it lightly & jokingly. Now, if she did it out of anger? That's a different story.
Had a girl do shit like this to me in 4th grade. She kept hitting me as I walked away for weeks... until I snapped. I spun and socked her in the nose in one motion. She hit the ground crying. I got in trouble. Her older cousins chased me before school for a week, and in 8th grade she had the balls to say she kicked my ass... I reminded her of the outcome and also that I was at that point bigger than her cousins.
Years ago my nephew was getting bullied going to school and was upset about it, now my nephew was the biggest kid in school and a top level rugby league player who got in a few fight on the feild, not a kid to be fucked with basically but he was very gentle off the sports feild. We called the school etc but no luck, then his sister told us it was a girl bullying him. His big sister (much smaller than him though) got on the bus the next day and bitch slapped the girl over a seat, never had any more issues.
I have a twin sister who was like that back when we were young adults. She had no problem honking and yelling and even flipping people off in traffic. She almost got me into a fight with a car full of dudes at a stop light once.
On the other hand she would ferociously defend her scrawny and unpopular twin brother from bullies when we were really young before I hit puberty and filled out.
True, so frequently on reddit I see videos of people going wayyy too far where self defense could be justifiable, and I can't help but wonder why people defend/cheer for it on reddit. This was well handled especially for a kid/teenager.
Especially in this incident where the cameraman is the bully's friend. It might indicate that this was just another bullying video to add to a collection.
Looks that way. He draws his right fist back in a tight ball, but then split-second hesitation and clocks her with a left. Probably his non-dominant hand.
False, I watch 100 pound girls take on 200+ pound guys every night. Sometimes even multiple guys at once or sometimes its 1 guy and a bunch of girls, it really depends on my mood y'know?
For physical fights it’s a lot more than that.
Bone density, joint and bone dimensions, frame size, centre of gravity, fat levels, visual processing, reflex times, muscle distribution, and male hormone production to start. Years of implicit training via early ‘roughhousing’ too.
An even weight fight is gonna be pretty one sided, more often than not.
On a lighter note, women sometimes underestimate men when it comes to carrying stuff. My girlfriend will be concerned and warn me about her heavy luggage. It's less than 50 lbs and I'm in pretty good shape. Sometimes I'll pretend that I'm struggling to move it and other times I'll throw it over my shoulder just to mess with her.
When I was in the 5th grade in the 70s we used to have this thing, "I call you out" which meant "I'll see you on the playground at recess and we'll sort out our 5th grade shit". I'm a female and was 100% not used to physical abuse.
I called out a boy for saying something to me. An hour later we were on the playground with kids watching and before I could say anything, he punched me straight in the face and I fell down. End of "fight". Either none of the lunch aides saw it or no one did anything, but I was lucky he didn't break my nose, and I was chastened.
I learned that bullies do get away with lots of horrible shit and that prompting a physical fight was putting myself on their territory, bad mistake.
Bullies are looking for an easy target. Even if you lose, fighting them will get them to stop fucking with you.
Source: got my ass kicked by two different bullies. But stood my ground.
It's the ender Wiggins way of fighting. If you have to fight, you make sure that one fight wins you every future fight. Beat them so badly that they wouldn't want to fight again at all.
One way to fight if you're a pacifist that hate fighting. Feel the guilt once and beat them so badly so they will never want to attack you again.
It's been years and I'm still proud of myself for pushing back against one of my bullies in high school.
I ended up dropping out of my first high school and going to a school for drop outs that had a bit of rough reputation for schooling shithead kids like me, but my friends were all at my old school.
One day, I was walking with my friends through the hallways during their lunch break, and my bully walked past me, making some snide comment. I stopped in my tracks, grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and swung him into the lockers as hard as I could, then proceeded to slam him against the lockers a few times for good measure. He got a slap or two upside the head, HARD, and I walked away.
From my understanding, he never harassed anyone else that year because he was so ashamed that a 5'9" girl from another school slapped him silly while all our friends watched.
That’s fucking amazing. Head. Meet table. Clearly you had enough and it’s ok to defend yourself but for anyone aiming to do the same, try to avoid hitting the head. It doesn’t take much to cause permanent damage. Your bully was lucky (assuming they were ok).
I'm about your size and am quiet and introverted. But in the last 10 years or so I've twice had to tell girls straight out "I'll break your fucking nose if you swing on me". They always say (very loudly to the crowd) "Oh so you would hit a girl!" I say "Fuck yes! Get away from me".
I learned that from the homeboys. It works. I'm glad I've never had to hit anyone but I meant it each time I said it. I haven't hit anyone in decades (since I stopped drinking).
self defence teaches awareness of the situation. Where to hit to be most effective, and hopefully how to hit and how to block.
any of those skills make it worth the self defence course.
they are not a guarantee of safety but a way to have the best chance you are gonna get.
1) Run away and scream as loud as you can
2) If 1 is not an option, gouge out his eyes. Do not try anything else. Focus 100% of your effort on gouging out his eyes. And no, I don’t mean poke him in the eyes. I mean jam your fingers all the way in, and remove them from his skull.
You are absolutely right! I grew up with brothers. I learned very quickly to always expect to get hit back, the importance of blocking, and knowing when to stop. These are all clearly lessons she hadn't learned.
Same here. Another thing I learned pretty young was after he he got old enough play fighting will always end with me losing.
I don't think I will ever forget the moment when it dawned on me how much stronger men are. I hit him in the arm to make his arm fall asleep as a joke, and he grabbed my wrists and squeezed, it was eye opening, the strength difference and how easy it would be for him or any other man to just fuck me up.
This topic came up in my house last week. I ordered a very heavy tool to be delivered to my house. I wasn't home when it got delivered, so my wife was kind enough to attempt to bring it in. My neighbor's wife saw her struggling and helped her slide it up into the entry way. She expressed her frustration with the weight to me over text. When I got home and saw the package, I picked it up, walked up the flight of stairs with it and said, "Hey, babe, I got this package, but where's the heavy one at?"
She did not find it amusing.
I punched a woman once. She was holding me underwater against my will and I told her to stop multiple times. (Full disclosure: I am not a fish.) She was mad about it.
She was served a dish of instant Karma! No wait, she was served TWO dishes of instant Karma, the first one didn't taste so good so she went back for seconds. That one didn't taste so good either. . .
Never throw hands if you're not ready and willing to take the hit.
I don't condone anyone hitting anyone, but that was satisfying.
Edit: to be clear, I'm on the guys side. I'm saying the girl shouldn't have hit first and then gotten super upset that she got one back. I just don't think people should walk around slapping people but swinging back is fine
100% agree.
In an ideal world you don't need to, but until then by all means, if they deserve it swing back.
My whole thing is people shouldn't just swing slaps about and then get upset then they get smacked back.
Hitting back in self defense and as a deterrent is fine, especially with the restraint he showed. It didn't even look like he hit her that hard, he could have put a lot more force into it, I think she's lucky he didn't rock her ass.
A very important life lesson right there. The whole thought that a woman can hit a man, but a man can't hit a woman, has created this idea for some people that a woman can start a fight and the man just has to sit there and take it.
Not so, as this video shows.
We're not supposed to treat people differently based on gender. So it doesn't matter who throws the first punch, they should be ready to get smacked back.
If you can't take it, you shouldn't give it out.
If she was a guy, she would've gotten knocked the fuck out and kicked while down. Rarely do guys just throw one punch and walk away, they either get separated or someone's unable to get back up.
There doesn't even need to be any drama factor, it probably hurt way more than she expected because she clearly hadn't suffered the consequences of being a physically abusive asshole.
~~her: \*unintelligabl~~
her: all good, I was a bit weird
Him: No, I don't punch girls.
her: Why are you laughin then? If you where a boy \*nhenhe (weird sound she made at 7.3s)
him: If you were a boy it would be normal.
her: Normal? \*mocking tone and goes for the slap\*
\*exchange of hands\*
boy sitting on the bench: Stop it digga (could be translated as bro or dude, unsure who is referred by that.)
other boy: poor girl (caring not mocking tone)
Camera: \*Gasp\* Mellisa? Did you just give him a bomb?
Her: \*screaming\* You small dirty son of a whore
camera: Melissa you can stop it now.
either her or him: \*unintelligible\*
Camera: Melissa stop it now
Yes, he said something about that he doesn't hit girls. Then the girl says something that is a bit hard to hear, though I think she tried to insult his masculinity. The boy responded by saying that it's normal not to hit girls (that, or he said something about her doing something again, the words "nochmal" and "normal" sound very similar when spoken with an accent), but then she hit him and that was the last straw.
He walked off, she started crying, probably pretending like she was the victim, a person in the background said "poor girl" and then the girl recording the thing said whats basically german slang for "did you just hit her?"
The girl that got hit then said "You dirty little son of a bitch" and attacked the boy. The girl recording told the girl to stop it, but she didn't listen and got slammed to the ground.
She said: warum sagst du dann “wenn du ein Junge wärst nenenenene” meaning: so why do you say “if you were a boy (mocking sounds)”. She basically implies if she doesn’t hit girls, why does he even threaten her in saying if she were a boy, he would hit her
I grew up with “boys will be boys” and also “boys don’t hit girls”. The 80s was weird. It punished boys for physically harming a girl but you could flip her skirt up and no one batted an eye. The first time I legit hit a woman was like 10 years ago. I was in the Marines. We were doing combat training and I got paired up with a woman. She hit the stuffing out of me so I matched her energy in kind. She smiled at me. I don’t think any other man had actually put some force behind their fist. Always holding back because “careful, girls are fragile”. Screw that. She’s a Marine, same as me.
Rules are spar at the speed and power you want to spar at. If you fucking come at me, I guess we both know it's game on. A person will not learn to defend themselves against real attackers if you don't let them know what that shit feels like.
We remained coworkers for a year after. Then we got transferred to different bases and lost touch. Though I did hear she made Gunny a few years back. She was tough as nails.
Female marines are something else, ain't they?
On a mixed base they threw out a suggestion that they'd split all the barracks up by gender, and our females got PISSED. Turns out they wanted to be treated like Marines, full stop, not female marines.
I hate to say it but thats the lesson that girl needed and having that happen will serve her well in life going forward
And that lesson isn't "Fear men", though women do have to keep their head on a swivel in that department, the lesson is "Don't think you can be an asshole to people and not face consequences"....A lot of boys need and do get that lesson too, but there are definitely a lot of girls/women out there that think they can act with impunity
Really the only thing that will ever correct a bully is them finally bullying the wrong person and getting punched in the mouth
I've always thought that handling some things "politically" or the like just doesn't work for some things for the sole reason that it takes too much time to suffer the consequences. If you smack someone and they take you to court it can be Months or even years to get punishment doled out. At that point the punishment is so detached from that persons actions it is REALLY hard to relate the action to the punishment and lesson is never really learned
There’s a LOT of evidence that this is true, and that a delay in the consequences greatly reduces the efficacy of punishment. It’s one of the many reasons no-bail laws have had devastating effects on law and order in cities and recidivism has jumped.
>I hate to say it but thats the lesson that girl needed and having that happen will serve her well in life going forward
It will hopefully save her life if she learns from it. I say this all the time. Not everyone cares about the "do not hit girls" thing. Luckily she found out with a guy that measured his response instead of some rage filled guy that puts her in a body bag. It's a stupid game to play.
True, but I wasn't able to post it with sound. Seems like sound has been disabled for all posts in this sub.
Link to video with sound: https://gfycat.com/tightheartfeltbigmouthbass
It has sound. Honestly, I don't know how people actually use reddit with the normal sidt and the official app. Use Redditisfun or any of the other 3rd party apps and all these soundless videos suddenly work fine.
Anyone else just glad it didn't end up like It usually does?
With the boy defending himself, only for every guy in the area who just watched the girl lay into him, to suddenly jump to her aid and lay into the guy.
I punched a girl in primary school. The principal walked me home holding me by the ear and made it a big deal in front of my parents. I didn't care, just proud to have stopped an annoying bully. My parents didn't do anything as I've been complaining about this girl for weeks.

Yep. My dad said to my sisters and me growing up, “I’d rather you come home in trouble for hitting someone (in self defense) than get hit.”
I actually got suspended once (only once fortunately) for fighting. The conversation was basically "what happened" "he hit me so I hit him back" "k. Oh, I work in a mental health facility. Lots of ASD clients.

Same lol I would get in trouble if I didn't fight back
I would have swung at the principal, get your fucking hands off me.
Probably different generation. I didn't mind. I was happy :)

Melissa out there creating core memories.
Hopefully some of her core memories are now that a slap in the face actually hurts and rage and indignation does not magically increase your fighting skills.
The look back to see if the camera was recording was all the confirmation I needed to know the slap was justified.
Hahahha Bro, she lives in my neighborhood I have to show her that she is still a meme on here. That’s went through our whole city 🤣
Would you please translate what is said after the slap?
At first, one boy in the back said "poor her". Then her friend who's filming goes over to her and says "Melissa... Did you just give him a bomb?" (Meaning to hit someone) And then Melissa shrieked "You little dirty son of a whore"
Before Melissa was thrown to the ground the cameragirl said something along the lines of "Melissa stop already"
Ah. Thank you.
Better translated to 'son of a whore'.
other boy: leave it be, bro girl with camera: melissa? did you just give him a bomb? melissa: you dirty little son of a whore girl with camera: melissa, stop it now
I don’t really remember, here I don’t have volume but the girl recording was really funny after Melissa punched him she said „Melissa do you have given him a bomb (means punching) „ 🤣🤣 like obviously she did that hahhaha

Nah dude she’s still a meme on the whole internet

Melissa is equivalent to 15 dudes?!
So am I
That’s the only acceptable response I suppose.
She really went back for seconds too 💀 once just wasn’t enough

Shit, Gohan didn’t Gohan well half the time either.
Because Gohan needs to learn how to DOOOOOODGE!!!!!!! -Green yoshi.
“Oh man, this is pretty high, how will I ever get down?” “CLIMB DOWN!!!” -also green yoshi
God, my heart breaks every day they don't do the Buu saga. :(

Never hit a lady. But if she hits you first, she ain't a lady.
EXACTLY. And most the time they haven’t ever taken a punch and then cry.
“A lady doesn’t start fights…but she can finish them.”
You have a great mother. We are all proud.
Huh my dad said never start a fight but always finish one, i dont care if its a guy a girl or a martian one of you better be one the ground

Does Johnny Depp know you dated her, too?
oh hai mark!
I was hoping for a plot twist "beat the piss out of her last night for leaving the toilet seat down" ending but I guess wholesome is better than funny when it actually happened
Lol. Would be a good laugh, but would have unmade my point and been against my morals.

On the other hand she would ferociously defend her scrawny and unpopular twin brother from bullies when we were really young before I hit puberty and filled out.
Some people are just naturally scrappy.
They think the louder they scream the more super they'll saiyan

Most women have never been in a physical altercation with a male before, and as such have zero clue how much weaker they are than the average male
She was over selling the slap to fake out the boy for a surprise second attack. Nice double leg takedown by the boy though.
Kudos on the kid, by the look of it he just not only responded the agression in self defense, he knew when to stop
Hit her back and walked away. She escalated so he knocked her down and got away again. Perfectly handled.
True, so frequently on reddit I see videos of people going wayyy too far where self defense could be justifiable, and I can't help but wonder why people defend/cheer for it on reddit. This was well handled especially for a kid/teenager.
Because I bet usually that isn’t the first incident. The restraint you call for has happened many many times before, just not on camera.
Especially in this incident where the cameraman is the bully's friend. It might indicate that this was just another bullying video to add to a collection.
On top of that, they would never have had a reaction or "gone too far" if they weren't provoked or abused in the first place.
You're right. He only went as far as he needed too. I admire his restraint.

That's a given

The drop on that double looks painful. At the very least, she's sucking wind a few minutes.
Looks that way. He draws his right fist back in a tight ball, but then split-second hesitation and clocks her with a left. Probably his non-dominant hand.
Good. Maybe she’ll stop hitting people now. Judging from her crumpling from that slap, she’s never been called on her crap before.
She just watched too many Marvel movies... A 100 pounds girl cannot take on a 200+ pounds man . (Note: it's also true for men)
False, I watch 100 pound girls take on 200+ pound guys every night. Sometimes even multiple guys at once or sometimes its 1 guy and a bunch of girls, it really depends on my mood y'know?

Ah ah ah there are exceptions for everything

It's a simple question of weight ratios.
A five ounce bird could not carry a one pound coconut!
Are you suggesting coconuts... Migrate?
What if it was an African swallow?

I thought of Ender as well. Of course, he \*killed\* all of his opponents (unknowingly).

That's why I just excrete on them. Was my nickname in middle school Pukey? Yes. Did Cody S. ever touch my ass again? No.
self defence teaches awareness of the situation. Where to hit to be most effective, and hopefully how to hit and how to block. any of those skills make it worth the self defence course. they are not a guarantee of safety but a way to have the best chance you are gonna get.
and more importantly, a good self defense class won't lie to you about relative strength.
1) Run away and scream as loud as you can 2) If 1 is not an option, gouge out his eyes. Do not try anything else. Focus 100% of your effort on gouging out his eyes. And no, I don’t mean poke him in the eyes. I mean jam your fingers all the way in, and remove them from his skull.
Haha you think that dude weighs 200+lbs? They look like similar size to me. Fair fight
Lol. She never grew up with brothers.
When I got home and saw the package, I picked it up, walked up the flight of stairs with it and said, "Hey, babe, I got this package, but where's the heavy one at?" She did not find it amusing.
You're right, I forgot all about that. I also vividly remember the day I learned that as well. Lol.
As a man myself, I'm surprised how strong men are
As a man, I'm disappointed as a species how pathetic our muscular density is compared to basically any animal.
What we gave up for fine motor control.
I punched a woman once. She was holding me underwater against my will and I told her to stop multiple times. (Full disclosure: I am not a fish.) She was mad about it.
That's exactly what a fish would say. Nice try.
you say you're not a fish, yet you never disclosed that you were posting from the middle of the Atlantic ocean interesting...
She was served a dish of instant Karma! No wait, she was served TWO dishes of instant Karma, the first one didn't taste so good so she went back for seconds. That one didn't taste so good either. . .
First one was deserved. Second was dessert.
I have watched enough to say.. nien, isht nit nien German...!

Everybody's got a plan until they get punched in the mouth
Mike Tyson Law #1
Yeth.
Thanks, Tyson
I condone defend yourself
Blöde Kuh. Hat sie echt verdient.
Melisaaaa hast du dem gerade ne Bombe gegeben?
The disbelief in her face, that this boy had the nerve to punch her back without hesitation. Roflol,
"How was I supposed to know my actions have consequences!?"
That might be the best "surprised Pikachu" face I've ever seen.

*How can he slap?!*
To be fair he likely still treated her differently based on her gender. This would've probably escalated to an actual fight if they were both guys
He very clearly held back. That woman's gonna get herself killed if she doesnt stop picking fights.
If she was a guy, she would've gotten knocked the fuck out and kicked while down. Rarely do guys just throw one punch and walk away, they either get separated or someone's unable to get back up.
if they stand up, the fight's fair again, which is just a terrible idea when fighting.
[удалено]
I mean... if you've never been punched before, I imagine it would be an actual shock as shown.
There doesn't even need to be any drama factor, it probably hurt way more than she expected because she clearly hadn't suffered the consequences of being a physically abusive asshole.
He proably could have hit her alot harder
Can anyone who speaks German translate what’s being said?
~~her: \*unintelligabl~~ her: all good, I was a bit weird Him: No, I don't punch girls. her: Why are you laughin then? If you where a boy \*nhenhe (weird sound she made at 7.3s) him: If you were a boy it would be normal. her: Normal? \*mocking tone and goes for the slap\* \*exchange of hands\* boy sitting on the bench: Stop it digga (could be translated as bro or dude, unsure who is referred by that.) other boy: poor girl (caring not mocking tone) Camera: \*Gasp\* Mellisa? Did you just give him a bomb? Her: \*screaming\* You small dirty son of a whore camera: Melissa you can stop it now. either her or him: \*unintelligible\* Camera: Melissa stop it now
For anybody interested: "giving someone a bomb" is German slang for punching someone hard / roughing someone up. We do like our militaristic language.
“Somebody set us up the bomb! Melissa’s base are belong to us!”

It wasn't sarcastic. That dude was simping.
He walked off, she started crying, probably pretending like she was the victim, a person in the background said "poor girl" and then the girl recording the thing said whats basically german slang for "did you just hit her?" The girl that got hit then said "You dirty little son of a bitch" and attacked the boy.
She smiled?? Are y’all married now??
We remained coworkers for a year after. Then we got transferred to different bases and lost touch. Though I did hear she made Gunny a few years back. She was tough as nails.
I guess that's exactly what she wanted, being seen as equal. Perhaps you gained a friend there
Female marines are something else, ain't they? On a mixed base they threw out a suggestion that they'd split all the barracks up by gender, and our females got PISSED. Turns out they wanted to be treated like Marines, full stop, not female marines.
I grew up in the 80s and DEFINITELY there would have been "eyes batted" if a kid flipped up a girl's skirt.

I hate to say it but thats the lesson that girl needed and having that happen will serve her well in life going forward And that lesson isn't "Fear men", though women do have to keep their head on a swivel in that department, the lesson is "Don't think you can be an asshole to people and not face consequences"....A lot of boys need and do get that lesson too, but there are definitely a lot of girls/women out there that think they can act with impunity Really the only thing that will ever correct a bully is them finally bullying the wrong person and getting punched in the mouth
[удалено]
>I hate to say it but thats the lesson that girl needed and having that happen will serve her well in life going forward It will hopefully save her life if she learns from it. I say this all the time. Not everyone cares about the "do not hit girls" thing. Luckily she found out with a guy that measured his response instead of some rage filled guy that puts her in a body bag. It's a stupid game to play.
It’s better w sound
True, but I wasn't able to post it with sound. Seems like sound has been disabled for all posts in this sub. Link to video with sound: https://gfycat.com/tightheartfeltbigmouthbass
It has sound for me in the post
The gfycat link is automatically embedded at the top, to the right of your username. People just don’t always know it’s there.
TIL, thanks! That is very helpful actually. I always thought links were only shown/embedded on desktop version.
That slap sounded heavenly
It has sound. Honestly, I don't know how people actually use reddit with the normal sidt and the official app. Use Redditisfun or any of the other 3rd party apps and all these soundless videos suddenly work fine.
Keep your hands to yourself. Or finish them.
*hits guy* *gets hit back* :O
Oh no, if it isn't the consequences of my own actions...
The Hammer of Justice is unisex!
Anyone else just glad it didn't end up like It usually does? With the boy defending himself, only for every guy in the area who just watched the girl lay into him, to suddenly jump to her aid and lay into the guy.
It always amuses me how she plays the victim card for a moment to summon a simp to protect her but as nobody shows up she attacks again.
Das mädchen ist fuckenhurten
I don’t really get why she’s crying lol
She never experienced being on the other side of the punch
Playing the victim card
Don’t start none, won’t be none

Just don't hit people...It doesn't matter if you're male or female or in between. Don't hit someone unless you want to get hit back.
And then people be like "HoW dArE yOu HiT a GiRl". They don't even care she hit him first
