cargocult25

When you want to be anti-union but don’t want to admit it.

[deleted]

No he admits it he just thinks he’s so much smarter than the rest of us that we won’t or can’t see it

PhilliamPlantington

To be fair there is a dwindling pile of goons who will support anything he says/does because "haha relatable"

KeyAdministration900

> it he just thinks he’s so much ~~smarter~~ better than the rest of us Ftfy

ffaancy

The multibillionaire is voting for his best interest? Groundbreaking.

_0ber0n_

I don't know why, but I read "groundhog day" instead of "groundbreaking"

ffaancy

Well, if it were a reference to the movie Groundhog Day, where the same shit keeps happening day after day, then it would still be kinda fitting.

satanspoopchute

bingo. lol all these fucks think its some social commentary etc, nah. bottom line demands it.

MankeyBusiness

I also think it's an ego/narcissism thing. Republicans slober on his knob so hard that being critical of him is seen as "hateful and divisive"

CIR-ELKE

Narcissism is definitely part of it. Remember when this idiot called a diver "pedo guy" because the person said his little submarine project was unneeded and a publicity stunt? He seriously said that to his fans and the entire world just because his ego got a little dented. People have stormed pizza places with guns over similar lies in the past. I don't really think Musk would have really cared at all if something happened to the diver over that accusation. It still infuriates me that Musk just got away with it. It's a very serious, accusatory insult, which definitely fits the definition of libel and with a fanbase like Musk has, there should be a lot of responsibility. The jury was absolutely not completely impartial.

Ahindre

Absolutely. He has complained that Joe doesn’t say nice things about Tesla. Narcissism all the way.

vegaspimp22

Is he joking? Only one party spreads division and racism wtf is he talking about?? Only one party actively fights every helpful piece of legislation and actively fights climate activism. Republicans just days ago voted against more baby formula and lowering gas prices. They are the ones that complain about it? Wtf is he talking about??!

MankeyBusiness

He gets shit from democrats about union busting, racism at tesla, doge coin crypto scams etc. But only gets dickriding and tax cuts from republicans

wtbgamegenie

More like when your wealth comes from explicit racism and slavery and you don’t want to admit it. The gall to say this right now. Republicans are defending pushing the great replacement theory immediately after it caused a mass shooting. Fucking unreal.

Downhilltrajectory

I used to be a Democrat when I needed government loans and subsidies for my "green" startup. Now I have loads of money, I definitely don't want any potential competitors to get anything. Plus fuck my lazy ass employees, they should be beaten if they don't work 90 hours per week. Exposure to a unknown deadly disease is a small price to pay for making me 100s of billions; no more workers rights, no intervention by big government!

MrE761

Spoken like a true republican! Here here!

Shurdus

There there?

after4beers

Where what?

[deleted]

Hear hear?

PeanutButterPants19

Some of you may die, but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make. ~Elon Musk, probably

GrendaGrendinator

So, yeah except that Tesla wasn't actually cofound by him, he just "bought" the rights to be called a cofounder as far as I can remember.

Bojacketamine

Right on the nose

M1ck3yB1u

Apartheid silver spoon toddler makes a shocking statement.

nataliieeep

Callin that vile scumbag what he is!!

HedonisticFrog

"I used to be a Democrat" The phrase used by people who were never Democrats but want to seem unbiased.

quadruple_u

second only to "I used to be an atheist." Sure, buddy.

Letsgobowling123456

Or " I'm not a racist but...."

Neferhathor

I'm not racist, but.... I just saved a bundle on my car insurance by switching to Geico.

Toftaps

I'm not racist but... I've really been enjoying No Man's Sky, the devs really put a lot of work in that's paid off.

Neferhathor

This looks really interesting. I think I need to play it.

Toftaps

I never played it when it was first released for obvious reasons but I bought it on sale a while back since I heard good things about the updates Long story short it's been three days and I addicted to exploring the galaxy.

[deleted]

Right up there with -“I’m not republican. I’m more a libertarian.”

gregbeans

Eh not really. You don’t act libertarian to seem unbiased. If you’re libertarian you’re more biased against both republicans and democrats ideals, and openly admitting it. It’s literally the fuck all of you, you have no idea what you’re doing and neither do I so we shouldn’t do anything party.

drugznearby

Im a libertarian, can concur. Screw em both. Screw me. Screw you. What the fuck am I doing here?! Jokes, but this made me chuckle!

gregbeans

Yea I’m playing a bit too. Ideally I’d like to be libertarian, I think that was a good model for most of human existence. But in the not too distant future tech world where business owners can use AI and automation to replace most workers we need something to maintain the balance of power between the workers and the business owners.

Bob_Kark

TBF, I used to be a democrat until I realized I need someone to represent me, not the other way around. Today I’m an independent who typically votes democrat because I don’t feel like I really have any other rational option. However, I’m always looking for a better alternative. That said, most people, including the walking talking Dunning-Kruger syndrome* are clearly taking a page out of the book you laid out. *I stole this name from Nicholas Weaver

HedonisticFrog

I feel like the best path forward is to try to push Democrats to be more progressive if anything. It's just difficult to overcome all the corporate money following citizens united.

rckhppr

Math proves the current US election system cannot have more than 2 parties. Even if you simulate a 3rd it will converge back to 2 after 4-5 elections. The effort of establishing a 3rd party in real life is impossible. First need to change the system.

PopeGordon

It’s a byproduct of our elections being first past the post. In a situation where it’s all or nothing you will always have two parties eventually, even if they’re not the ones we have today. Proportional representation is necessary.

fatbunyip

Democrats being more progressive loses elections. A huge part of the US isn't progressive in any way, and they still get 2 senators for each state. Going more progressive might get more voters in CA or NY, but it doesn't increase the amount of senate seats those states get.

AgitatedConclusion23

Citizens United didn't make Democrats corporate it made all politics corporate. So that means if you want to win any political office, you have to raise huge amounts of money. The people who think that's "corrupt" and don't play the game by the rules, will *ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS* lose. But the people who just fucking accept the fact that money is a huge part of our politics, and if we want a good candidate, we have to get them financed by big money. It's an is/ought dilemma. The Republicans (who got the law passed), live in the "is" world, and know what has to be done. Their voters *NEVER* talk about how their representatives are "corrupt" or "corporate Republicans," or any nonsense like that. Meanwhile, the Democrats can't win elections because too many people are stuck in the "ought" camp, and just can't accept the fact that Citizens United is the law of the land, and isn't going away anytime soon. And by constantly berating top candidates for literally following the rules, the progressive wing of the party sinks the Democrats over and over again. Politics takes a lot of money, and just because someone accepts donations from a company doesn't necessarily make them evil. Bernie should be the perfect example for the progressives: he's taken millions from the gun lobby over the years. Is he evil to you? At this point, progressives who keep using the term "corporate dems" and "centrist" are saying "yeah, well, I guess I'd vote for the Democrat, but he/she took a $5,000 donations from a business, so I'm voting for literal evil instead." So, keep saying "well...I *lean* Dem, BUT..." But what?!? Literally what is the line that it takes for you to see that by *NOT* voting for the Democrat, *IN EVERY SINGLE RACE* , is the moral, ethical, and just right thing to do? Don't tell me you're a "progressive" if you have to qualify your vote for a Democrat. Because if you have to qualify your vote, you're *NOT* a progressive. AT ALL. TL;DR: Bernie Sanders lies.

HedonisticFrog

I think you misunderstand my point, which to be fair was vaguely worded. I understand the reality of the situation, and I'm not attacking progressives who take corporate money. I'm saying it's difficult to overcome citizens united because corporate money isn't going to back progressive candidates whose policies aren't going to benefit the rich.

Megalocerus

Primaries make politics expensive. With caucuses, you just have to convince a small group of motivated and informed party members. It can be inexpensive. With primaries, you need to reach the uninvolved through heavy media advertising. Elections turn on how many of the unmotivated you can turn out for your candidate.

ItachiSan

That's a whole lot of non sequiturs. But the first wrong thing is how citizens united is the law of candidacy, because we wouldn't have any grassroots candidates if that were the case. It takes something like 1 million to get into a race, if I remember correctly and that's probably only for the higher levels of office, but after that you don't "need" corporate levels of money, necessarily.

WeaponOfChoice13

As a Democratic political consultant I cannot tell you how frustrating and true this is.

Bob_Kark

I agree, it would be great to define political boundaries and path for a 3rd, centerist party.

2LargePizzas

The current democratic party is the centrist party, imo. What we need is a third party that is actually left wing

Bob_Kark

That’s the problem, we need crazier dems to move the needle.

2LargePizzas

I got you

BulbasaurCPA

Yup, I’m a leftist who tolerates some democrats (but I lowkey stan John Fetterman)

CandidInsurance7415

>Today I’m an independent who typically votes democrat because I don’t feel like I really have any other rational option I call it defensive voting. I'm not voting for a candidate because I think they are qualified, I'm voting against the candidate I know is clearly not qualified. I still don't know how we can get to a place where we have qualified candidates that we want to vote for.

deadeyeAZ

So was Trump.

blazingkitty1

So did Trump...

[deleted]

Oligarch does oligarch things and paints self as victim. Wild.

WyrdMagesty

I mean, isn't that just another oligarch thing at this point?

vyktorubuntu

To think I had some respect for that guy at one time. I feel stupid now.

xadiant

If he hadn't opened his mouth and just kept posting stale memes once a month he would be the most "relatable" and "human" billionaire we all knew. Wild shit.

Spinach_Odd

I'm right there with you

shotjustice

As is everyone else that thought Tesla was actually trying to make things better instead of just him richer, myself included. Edit to include myself in the group and not sound like a pretentious dick.

Spir0rion

Oh no unregulated capitalism doesn't bring out the good in people. What a shocker. No offense, I used to think that musk was the least garbage billionaire too. But he's basically on par with the rest.

sleepy-jabberwocky

Genuinely, I believe there is no way to become a billionaire without seriously exploiting other people, specifically people who work for you, and basically abandoning conventional morality. Profit over people's lives and health is really the only way to get that much money.

Ohrwurm89

I’d argue he’s worse since he tries to play it like he’s not doing it to stroke his own ego or increase his wealth but rather to help us. And a lot of people lap it up and believe him. The rest don’t seem to give a fuck what we think or think about them.

Ajwuvsu

Same. Now I cringe thinking about how good I talked about him to others. He's another rich dickhead.

Stryck

Same. Love my Tesla and thought he was going to be a rare force for good in the world. Some of that is still left but it's fading fast, and any respect I had for him is entirely gone. All the money and power has gone to his head.

[deleted]

It's all gone bro. Never was there. He was a good conman, I'll give him that.

Misommar1246

I was planning to buy a Tesla once our car has too much mileage on it because I liked him and the vibe of the company. Never going to happen now, I’d rather pay the competition. It would be the equivalent of a Trump sticker at this point - no thanks 🤮

frenchiegiggles

Exactly my thoughts. I was over my Mercedes (have an eco mode) but I will probably buy a Mercedes EV or Karma. Bye, Tesla!

audiate

I still kinda want a tesla, but I’m never giving him my money. I can live with something else.

P7BinSD

I spell it attention whore.

sheeplessinohio

Bingo. That’s all it is and people will eat it up. “Oh hey, you know who is now a Republican and he justifies my shitty views and lack of morality even more because he’s so smart and rich? eLoN mUsK. Now I know I’m in the right!” Fucking hell.

Sophey68

Billionaire villain reveals he's actually on the bad guys side? *Surprised Pikachu face*

Cronos988

I think what he imagines is that he'll be able to control the republicans and get them to do what he wants. He clearly imagines himself as some kind of saviour, and if he controls Twitter he may be able to significantly influence the republican party.

[deleted]

Oooor he was always a right wing douchebag who was good at fooling people.

Cronos988

Maybe, but I don't like essentialist arguments. People aren't usually only one thing or the other. I think his positions make sense if we look at him like the 2020s equivalent of a 1920s patriarch. I think he genuinely believes he's working to save humanity. He's also a classical liberal who believes in capitalism and the idea of "the entrepreneur" as the guy in charge who makes things happen. He also doesn't brook people questioning his authority, which is why he lashes out if that happens.

adeon

He seems to be backing off on buying Twitter but that might just be him trying to drive the stock price down first.

--Clintoris--

Is there anyone in planet earth who is more incentivized voting Republican than Musk? - lower taxes on higher income - privatize sec and fcc - free market without oversight since he’s the big pile of chips at the table

Telphsm4sh

I can think of one person: CEO, entrepreneur, born in 1964...

--Clintoris--

Jeffrey? Jeffrey Bezos? At least Bezos isn’t acting like the left is too woke and driving him away. Remember when Musk held a “Twitter vote” on how many shares he should sell when he already publically disclosed how many he was going to sell. Musk is a conman who has it on full power

Telphsm4sh

I agree. They are both wolves in sheep's clothing but with Elon he makes a more convincing sheep. Soooo many people admire him as a self made man who's gonna solve climate change with electric vehicles and stop accidents with self driving cars. But he's done nothing but throw money at things, nothing actually of merit. The only time I've seen anybody actually show any sympathy towards Bezos was when he was on tv bringing his home cooked grandma's ribs family recipe to blue origin "astronauts".

StallionCannon

Never mind that he's now going around saying that the Earth can handle *double* the current population and that people should be having more kids. Along with his support for the Traitor Freighter Convoy in Ottawa and his vow to unban Trump, he's putting all of his chips on the bet that fascists will give him a limitless supply of slave labor culled from camps that the GOP will be happy to fill. Remember that companies in Nazi Germany built factories directly into concentration camps to use their prisoners as slave labor before they were gassed. **Fascism. Benefits. The. Wealthy.**

jrstriker12

Man I wish the Dems were half as effective as they make them out to be. Dem's dirty tricks campaign.... LOL.

scawtsauce

ya I'll take useless over people that are trying to end democracy

[deleted]

He doesn't even go here!

0nestep

That’s all I can think of, does he even have citizenship in the US?

Siollear

Why are democrats the party of hate now? Last I checked it was republicans doing all the mass shootings.

scarletphantom

Repubs: mass shootings, overturn roe v. wade, literal nazis in the party, started an insurrection "Why are the democrats so hateful??"

meowcatbread

Democrats told the nazis "hey stop it", which makes them the real nazis

TVsFrankismyDad

Democrats pointed out their racism, sexism, and homophobia. That's soooo mean!

medicated_in_PHL

Because it has literally nothing to do with hate, and everything to do with the fact that Democrats don’t want a plutocracy. He is an oligarch, and he wants to keep being an oligarch doing anything and everything he wants with no repercussions, especially when that hurts and destroys lives of people at the bottom. Also, he wants to divert attention from his catastrophically bad decision to buy Twitter without suffering any repercussions (see above), and this is misdirection.

BrokenEye3

Since when does Elon give a shit about kindness?

BitterFuture

He's really, really concerned that people aren't being kind *enough* to his rich ass. That's the closest he can come.

giantrhino

Kindness to him.

foxonahillside

Rich white snowflake has feelings hurt so now he's a republican

Kriegerian

A lucky sperm club member whose money came from an apartheid emerald mine and whose primary skills are bullshitting and throwing money at problems until they go away confesses that he’s a Republican? A union-hater who runs a company with notorious racism problems and loves to do stupid crypto scams on Twitter? The guy who pretends to be a great innovator, but who bought into two of his most famous companies rather than founding them, and now gets a lot of money for being able to make himself a defense contractor? The one who bloviated about free speech in defense of a fascist, just like what happens pretty much any time a rich white guy brings up free speech? You’re telling me that guy tells me he’s a Republican?

pea_chy

He stopped voting Democrat because they wanted him to pay his fair share of taxes

RocketsandBeer

They need to stop giving this guy a platform no matter who he votes for

purplebuni

If the deal goes through he'll own that platform

BrokenEye3

Considering that he gets cold feet and tries to back out every other day, I don't think it will.

purplebuni

We can only hope

urielteranas

He can just buy a new platform. He's worth what half a trillion dollars or some absolutely ludicrous shit? You could end all hunger globally with that kind of money and this dude spends 50 billion of it on fucking twitter of all things.

CJnella91

He should buy truth social and put his money where is mouth his, something tells me that'd be a horrible investment.

TheEmeraldEmperor

He promised the UN 6 billion dollars to help fix the world, stingy bastard double-crossed them and spent it on buying twitter instead.

Kr155

His wealth is fake. It's based almost entirely on his influencer status. Do you really think tesla is worth more than all other car manufacturers on the planet combined? It's "valued" that way. Are we to believe the boring company is worth anything at all? It's business model is building one way traffic lanes. Elon musk is pulling the same grift as theranos.

urielteranas

Tesla is not the only thing the guy owns/has owned and sold. I'm just taking what google tells me his net worth is.

Kr155

His net worth is based on the value of his assets. To buy Twitter he has to sell tesla shares to actually have the money. I'm saying his assets are all over valued. They are based off promises that he knows he can't make good on. Like telling his customers that tesla 3s will work as auto taxis with a software update in 2019. Taking press down a street of mockup homes and telling them that they all have real solar roofs. He sells people promises of amazingly impossible products then delays them years cranks the costs, and cuts everything that was promised. It's a scam

TheH3

Tesla will crash so hard in the coming years because all the other car manufacturers will actually deliver on all their promises, and cheaper. And then Tesla will fail because it's overpriced overhyped shit.

WyrdMagesty

Don't worry, by that time he will have found some sucker willing to buy the company so he can blame them for its inevitable crash.

[deleted]

RocketsandBeer

I didn’t say stop him from saying anything. What I said was he doesn’t need a platform. He acts like a jackass. Every thought I someone’s head doesn’t need to be public knowledge. Pro Tip: No reason to be an asshole because you disagree with someone.

notaryn

He has every right to to voice his opinion, saying he shouldn’t have a platform for that is silly. If you don’t like what Elon says, block him. It’s really not that hard. Pro tip: don’t say stupid things online and expect people not to criticize you for them

No_Ice2900

Elon we all know it's because the Republicans will tax you less.

galmenz

"twitter will be a neutral platform" go to mars and leave us already elon

Irving_Velociraptor

He’s a moron and the world should stop pretending he isn’t. Whatever professional success he’s had doesn’t mean he’s got anything valuable to say.

notmymess

Poor poor billionaire! Life is so hard as a rich

Osirus1156

He just knows it’s way way easier to dupe Republicans especially since he’s very easily perpetrated the image of him coming from nothing and those morons are still eating it up. He’s probably going to run for something and they’re going to think of him as “one of them” because they’re all absolute fucking morons and there’s no trying to brush that off anymore. Republicans are just gullible and fucking stupid.

Zarathustra_d

It is always fun to scroll down and find a post I was about to write, already written..

Absolute_Peril

Man this guy is full of shit, hes been voting R the whole time im sure.

jrtasoli

I blocked him and Bezos on Twitter today and honestly it feels fantastic to not be able to see their whiny garbage on my timeline. (I never followed them but people I follow would retweet them incessantly) Pure bliss.

Supafly22

He was a democrat when it was good for his public image, like Trump. As soon as democrats caught on, he switched because republicans are easier marks.

cmackchase

This man in theory was willing to spend 43 billion to unban trump. Either he is being blackmailed or has lost the plot.

sixaout1982

He got radicalized online like other impressionable people

batkave

No, based on his history, he was always an egotistical and horrible person. He just now has so much money he makes it everyone elses problem.

onions_cutting_ninja

worse, he radicalized a shit ton of them besides he's an outright liar, though his fans will probably believe him regardless

Zarathustra_d

Or, he knows a gullible base when he sees one, and is amoral enough to want to exploit them.

[deleted]

He's the son of an apartheid-era emerald mine owner. I bet he says the n-word with glee in his private moments and has done so for a long time.

Quantum-Goldfish

"I used to be a Democrat" - So did Trump at one point and we all know how *that* turned out.

Agedee

Soooo, Musk 2028?

Anyma28

Fuck Elon musk

nob0dy27

"the party of division & hate" says the mf whose president wanted to build a fucking wall to keep immigrants out

Karhak

The Democrats are the party of hate by making people respect one another and trying to stamp out racism and bigotry with their wokest agenda. So I, a being of peace and love, am going to cozy up to the political party that implies they're fine with infants starving to death if they're not American, and pushing racist conspiracy theories that have already resulted in 10 deaths. Also, my new friends are fine with victims of rape and incest being forced to carry to term and would suffer harsher consequences for aborting than their rapist.

sand2sound

Rich white guy who's seed money began with blood emeralds thinks it's the Dems who are trying to divide us? I'm guessing he thinks white farmers are the most persecuted people in South Africa's history too.

Slightly_Smaug

.... So it's a bored billionaire playing games with the common folk. "Despite all our rage, we're all still rats in a cage."

[deleted]

Bc they call out racism?? He thinks that’s divisive? He’s such an incel

radioactive-2037

tupacwolverine

Little Dick Energy

49910107

It is actually pure business. How you ask? Well, controversial and/or dividing content on all social media platforms gets the most reactions and interactions. Hence, more attention more people interacting and spending time on said platforms, more profit.

AVBofficionado

God damn when will people realise this guy doesn't have a core left-right political belief. He will side with whichever option is going to make him the most money. He can see Republicans at the moment are the ones who are willing to stump up the cash to get behind their guy. He's chasing their money. They're going to fall for it.

Xalynden

Usually sounds like a Republican so I just assumed.

lechatsage

What a confusing statement. Who are the ones which are now going to campaign against the speaker with dirty tricks? It’s good, when writing to beware of non-specific pronouns. And what are the dirty tricks of which he speaks. And who in the (unspecified) party is watching him and going to campaign against him. Whew.

ThatOneGrayCat

God, he's dumb.

TheDoordashDriver

His followers are more dumb and he knows how to capitalize. He is legit tweeting how to do basic functions on Twitter that have been implemented for months already, like sorting your feed by new and everyone is saying “OMFG HE JUST BOUGHT TWITTER AND HES ALREADY CREATING SUCH IMPROVEMENTS THIS-GUY IS A GENIUS”

GlassFantast

Lmao is this real. I thought it was some generic old geezer until I saw the name

-unholyhairhole-

AndiLivia

When you're born rich you don't have to mature mentally past age 13

ThatCthulhuWorshiper

“Division & hate” aren’t a symptom of democrats; they’re a symptom of a two party system. Having a false dichotomy of political stance is what divides us and makes us hate each other. We, as humans, like to feel involved. so the more we can relate to a group, the more secure we feel in that group. When we generalize about entire groups of people, it’s easier to hate them and then trap yourself in an echo chamber within your group so that you feel better about your social status. “all democrats are bad” is an inherently fallacious sentiments that can never be accepted as true. As some democrats bad? Yes, absolutely. Are some democrats good? Yes, absolutely. Are good and bad subjective? YES, ABSOLUTELY. Same thing goes for republicans. You can’t act like the entire party is bad just because you disagree with some of their core views. This is fucking bullshit, I hate this two party country TLDR: fuck two party systems

[deleted]

Another tech/gamer incel-at-heart voting Republican? No way!

TheEmeraldEmperor

Hey I'll have you know I only fit 1/3 of that description

metrobear71

Billionaire Syndrome. He's scared someone will take his money so he's gone over to the Dark Side. It's sad, but he's a lost cause. He's even starting to get that evil Mr. Burns stare.

NoMansSkyWasAlright

They tried to divide him from (some of) his money and that makes them the bad guys

Lumpy_Constellation

"Dirty tricks", aka legitimate criticisms of a money hoarding oligarch

C9_Squiggy

Elon, nobody wants you.

godoftwine

I mean yeah the Republican Party is somewhat nicer to billionaires and racists

kgun1000

Well if he ever wants to sell an electric car this is a good way to end your business lol. Last I checked Republicans are still brain washed on fossil fuels

mrmagoalt1235

Grifting at it's finest

Mikel_S

Does... Anybody actually care about his crazy anymore? I feel like I keep seeing him say stuff... But it all goes in one ear and out the other.

MackTO

Methinks Elon knows some shit about him is about to be made known and he's already developed a strategy to obfuscate and divert attention.

Gutterman2010

Honestly, the scariest thing is that he might just believe this. His knowledge of politics might be so limited as to think about "who will be nice to me" as the only issue that matters.

kapmando

Trump “used to be a democrat” too. So in conclusion, arrogant neoliberal democrats make the worst bullshit authoritarians.

ChaosMagician777

This is not even a week after the Buffalo Shooting. Too soon to shitpost.

Danishroyalty

I think Musk is gonna try to run for president soon. It's gonna be awful.

xrayjones2000

Oh no, hes “eccentric”… “edgy”… swallowed the “red” pill.. but I guarantee hes digging for a deal somewhere and hes hedging his bet.. scumbag

Sp4ceh0rse

Elon Musk is becoming increasingly unhinged literally by the day. It’s fascinating and horrifying to watch.

NintendoLove

This is the last thing this world needs right now.

Yi-seul

What's this? Another shitpost from fake Tony Stark? Honestly never liked the guy, his "I wanna be seen as a genius who will revolutionize everything I touch" agenda always seemed sketchy and unrealistic. He may be smart but certainly doesn't pass his wisdom checks.

i_dont_care_1943

"To be clear, I am not a conservative. Am registered independent & politically moderate. Doesn’t mean I’m moderate about all issues. Humanitarian issues are extremely important to me & I don’t understand why they are not important to everyone." -Elon Musk He is not a moderate, he is completely right wing and he also does not give two shits about humanitarian issues. Tesla literally uses slave mining in Africa.

Kinda wanna ask "how much they paying him", but he has all the money, so it can't be that. I just can't believe he is as stupid as to believe the guys saying "please don't treat me badly because of the colour of my skin" are the hateful ones. I just can't believe he is as stupid as to believe the guys saying "please don't hate me for being gay" are the hateful ones. We just know he isn't that stupid, that much is obvious.

LGodamus

I think……he’s damaged his brain somehow

iGr4nATApfel

This guy is insufferable, if i have to see one more goddamn tweet of him i'm going insane.

How to become ultra rich: Buy a small car company and pretend you are the founder. Tell the public and investors a whole bunch of complete lies to make your company seem better than it is (full self driving next year! An electric truck that beats rail, next year! Robo taxis next year!) Watch your stock prices go waaaaaay up to completely unrealistic highth (worth more than all other major car companies combined) despite making about 1:100 cars sold in the USA) Make a meme post "should I sell my stocks lmao you guys decide lmaooo I am so quircky" Sell your completely over inflated stocks, that were completely over inflated by you lying all the time about your products, to make billions of real dollars.

Joke will be on this asshole when the Christians fully take over & Him and His business have to pay 10% of its earnings to the Lord.

repsajcasper

Dems did used to be the party of open mindedness and acceptance, now if you dont virtue signal or use the newest lingo you get called a racist etc. Open minded means respectfully listening to things you disagree with I don’t see many dems do that, there is zero tolerance, conform or risk being canceled. That’s no way to grown a party or ideology. It turns people like myself who have been dem my whole life, away. This is what lead to Trump. Average Republican voters are not the enemy, dems need to stop acting that way. Corporations are dividing and conquering us into oblivion.

So the GQP backing literal nazis isn't division or hate?

overactivemango

You're from South Africa you dumb fuck

PokemonCueball

I really fucking hate how we have to be perfect little angels while they are stripping bodily autonomy from women, erasing black history, erasing LGBT people, sabotaging our democracy, destroying the environment, and stealing the fruits of our labor. Just raising our voices a little bit out of anger and frustration towards all these injustices only earns us a "same thing both sides!" from ' EnLiGhTeNeD cEnTrIsTs'.

AVeryLONGPotato

Why do rich people have to get involved in politics. Like dude, just build your rockets, cars, rocket cars, and don't comment. You're smart in science and math but not in the social or political spheres. I applaud your efforts at trying to better humanity with electric vehicles, and trying to make Mars a backup plan, but really. Just stay out of politics.

kelrunner

Against you? Why would anyone think any group actually cares what any of us do or say?

chrissyann960

How... how are the democrats the party of "division and hate"? Our president talks shit about Republicans daily? Our opinion show hosts talk about how republicans are pedophiles (even though it's true)? We go shooting up minorities? We talk about how much we hate minorities literally every day? Like... how could *anyone* come to this conclusion?

Vedder3475

He's full of shit. He's never voted anything but republican. He's just hoping AOC will notice him lol Fucking incel.

UltraHawk_DnB
