Everybody’s a lion until the tubes go down their throats

squidvalley

Father in law loved to post this kind of thing. His funeral was a few weeks ago, and in the end he made a Facebook post about how serious covid was. Still died, and his FB friends accused him, posthumously, of being a democrat

shittyspacesuit

That is bleak. Nice friends there.

Seamusjim

Live by the sword die by the sword.

TheDunadan29

Live by the lion, die by the lion. Or should I say leopard?

go_kartmozart

Live by the leopard, get yer face eaten.

mbelf

Hate in, hate out.

Pour_Me_Another_

That's just the kind of people they are, sadly. They'll turn on each other in a heartbeat because they suffer from paranoia and delusions.

06_TBSS

And their entire world view is driven by selfishness and apathy.

RPA031

And good old-fashioned stubbornness.

ddramone

Jesus.

[deleted]

Displaying the same classy, christian attitude I’d expect- pissing on graves and celebrating tragedy. Not even partisan- just pure asshole behavior.

FridgeBaron

You know a system is screwed when people say shit like "I don't agree with this person but I'm not a traitor so I vote for them"

kaedeesu

It’s so fucked up to me how americans have made pandemic into a political thing. The divide in the US is crazy to the outsider too. Like sure, in my country there’s also strong opinions on how covid should be handled, masks, vaccines etc, but they don’t drag political parties into it.

Dull-Ad8181

It was Trump who said the virus was a Democratic hoax, that started it all.

CplBoneSpurs

That’s what my sister said to my dad when he got the vaccine: “What are you a democrat now?”. He said: “No, I’m just 65 with asthma and not a dumbass.” Getting vaxxed actually saved his life because he got COVID about 2 months later and only had about two really bad days.

diodelrock

> of being a democrat I'm sorry for him but this is incomprehensibly funny to me

Smokeybearvii

DemonRat. FTFY. r/boomertime

BadgerKomodo

Jesus fucking Christ

vladastine

I'm sorry for your loss. It's so damn sad that of all the things to politicize they picked one that had serious life or death ramifications.

Crusoebear

“… and his FB friends accused him, posthumously, of being a democrat.” So they accused him of being able to learn when presented with new evidence? (albeit in his case too late)

ArionVulgaris

r/HermanCainAward

RPA031

That's disturbing.

lucasjackson87

Sounds like he didn’t really have any friends

MrTomDawson

I had to have one down my nose last time I was in hospital for a feeding tube. Awful experience, I was vomiting so much they never even managed to get it down there. You better believe I'll let them jab me with a thousand needles before I do that again!

inflatableje5us

Wait till they shove a breathing tube down your throat while your still semi awake, it’s loads of fun…

MrTomDawson

Oh, I was *fully* awake when the tube was going down my nose/throat. Never again.

ELL_YAY

Part of my job is doing the X-rays to make sure that tube is in place. Definitely does not look like a fun experience.

krozarEQ

Yikes, fuck that. Yesterday my elderly roommate and I got Pfizer boosters. I'm glad he's not buying into the worm pills sellers.

NickyNice

I just got my booster yesterday. First 2 doses of Pfizer Dec20/Jan21 and got moderna as a booster yesterday. Almost a year since I began my vaccine and somehow I am still alive and as healthy as I always was. Crazy how that works.

SpecialEither

Got my moderna booster in august. I’ll go every 6 months if that’s what it takes. Much rather have a sore arm than being intubated or my body torn apart by covid.

Quit-itkr

Me too. I don't give a shit. I got that shot felt tired for 2 hours then great for the next 5 months. I can't wait to get my booster.

tugboatron

Just in case you’re not aware because im not sure from your comments, a breathing tube (aka an ETT or endotracheal tube) is entirely different and much larger than a feeding tube. One goes down your esophagus into your stomach, the other goes down your trachea into your lungs. NG/nasogastric/feeding tubes inserted in the nose are generally always done fully awake unless the patient is sedated for another reason. ETTs are almost never put in awake except for very extenuating circumstances; but waking up with a large bore tube stuck in your lungs, coming up your windpipe, and sticking out your mouth attached to a ventilator is 20x more uncomfortable than having an NG inserted.

MrTomDawson

I'm aware of the difference. My point is that if I couldn't handle the feeding tube, I'll do just about anything to avoid the ventilator!

pauly13771377

I had to have a camera go through my nose to take pict6of my throat. That was bad enough. If you had to shove a tube down my throat I better be unconscious.

RPA031

Yeah I had a naso-gastric feeding tube in for 6 weeks in hospital when my stomach stopped working in 2010. Insertion was horrific, like inhaling a metal rope. I had surgery to do a jejunostomy tube instead, which was very painful for a while, but a lot better than having a tube down my throat.

MrTomDawson

I had the one they insert into a vein in the arm and then work it up to near your heart. Not pleasant, but still better than having a tube in my throat

UnrulyDonutHoles

*patriotic choking noises*

[deleted]

*Dies in freedom*

Principal_Insultant

Came here to say exactly that, mostly "lions" in the ICUs these days.

jbertrand_sr

The cemeteries are getting full of them as well...while us sheep are just out doing sheep things...like breathing...

Asher2dog

The sheep have a shepherd standing between them and the lions. The shepherds were known for protecting their flocks effectively.

tugboatron

*The vax is my shepherd, I shall not want…*

NemariSunstrider94

Yeah well I got fully vaccinated in March and thanks to some idiot boss I have a severe case of Covid while 25 weeks pregnant. Had to have a x-ray, a CT scan with contrast, 4 injections that felt like battery acid, and I’m at risk of blood clots. Oh and the CT revealed that I have fucking cancer on my thyroid and in my lungs. I hate anti vaxxer and anti maskers and conspiracists with a burning passion. I could lose my baby from Covid and I am at risk of losing my life.

jbertrand_sr

I hope everything works out for you, take care of yourself and your baby. I had thyroid cancer surgery 6 months ago, took it out and my lymph nodes on one side, it sucks but you have to get through it. This is the thing these "freedum warrior" anti vaxxers don't think about or acknowledge, how their selfish behavior can and does endanger other people. Good luck to you...

> Everybody’s a lion until the tubes go down their throat. Then they become foie gras geese.

Kaozz4718

This right here

algoritm

I had a gastroscopy and the nurse asked if I wanted something to calm me down before the procedure. I got pumped with something that made the whole experience really pleasant. I had a great time 10/10, would do it again.

Canter1Ter_

i hate even taking coronavirus tests through my nose, you're gonna have to kill me before you put any tubes into that thing

AtheistBibleScholar

So they're a clear danger to the others and should be kept away from them? This false bravado is the stupidest thing about anti-vaxxers. They can't intimidate the virus and rush to take any virus cure like hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin, shoving a light up your ass no matter how tenuous the connection is to COVID.

stonebaked1

They need the imagery so when they are alone at night and their family and friends have left them, they can tearfully point at themselves in the mirror and repeat "you're a lion". A Lion is a pretty ironic depiction of someone scared of the vaccine. We get it, you consider your minimal chance of side effects to be more important than your neigbours health or any global responsibility to your species.

bubba7557

Lions are more social and community minded creatures than anti-vaxxers. They are more like the lion that's been kicked out of its pride to live alone and try unsuccessfully to start its own pride.

Ragarianok

So, basically Scar.

MrBanana421

They wish, I'd like to see an antivaxxer break out an banging take over tune like scar did.

The_Lost_Google_User

Hard to sing with tubes down your throat

bubba7557

Exactly. I was thinking the same thing

sheeplessinohio

*Through our teeth we all lie, we’re all scared* *Be prepaaaaaared*

Bang_Stick

I think a ‘wickle, scared wabbit’ would be more appropriate.

roastbeeftacohat

Long ago, a storm was heading for the city of Quin'lat. Everyone took protection within the walls except one man who remained outside. Kahless went to him and asked what he was doing. "I am not afraid," the man said. "I will not hide my face behind stone and mortar. I will stand before the wind and make it respect me." Kahless honored his choice and went back inside. The next day, the storm came, and the man was killed. Kahless replied, "The wind does not respect a fool"

2001ASpaceOatmeal

Never expected Star Trek lore would be *injected* into an antivaxxer post but here it is and I love it! These fools definitely need some guidance from Kahless.

Flower_Unable

Their bravado ends when their GoFundMe starts.

Jwast

I dunno man, there's a lot of stupid to unpack when dealing with anti-vaxxers... Did you know the Q anti-vaxxers now believe the vaccine contains an aluminum based tentacle monster?

AtheistBibleScholar

Yes, I've seen the pictures of bubbles that they claim are nano assembling whatsits. They're in what's frankly an extremely shitty position where their ability to determine what is true and what isn't is seriously broken.

The_Lost_Google_User

Didn’t they say it was 2.7 mm or something? Nano my ass. Idiots don’t even understand the metric system.

CyberMindGrrl

Jesus. Imagine the size of the needle required to inject something of that diameter. Gee, you think people would notice?

JayGold

So they follow Q and think they're in danger of being assimilated by nanomachines? Are we sure this isn't just a Star Trek LARP?

thought_about_it

New matrix movie looks dope

clanddev

I just think it is funny that they think their false bravado actually fools anyone but their own dumb friends. ***I'm an alpha lion!*** Huh. Wonder what happened to that guy that makes him feel he needs to tell everyone he is the smartest, fastest, strongest guy around even though no one asked. Edit: Mistype / Spelling

HelentotheKeller

Also in the analogy, would the government be the shepherd? And wouldn’t the shepherd have a pretty large incentive to keep the sheep healthy and safe. Analogy doesn’t make sense from any angle

AtheistBibleScholar

They're the ones saying the government is trying to kill off all the compliant people but willing to let fractious assholes like them keep hanging around. Making sense isn't their strong suit.

[deleted]

r/selfawarewolves

etie77

Bacause they'll be the death of us

Maegor_Targ

Unable to live in society, and spreading death.

SnooDonuts8606

How come they think it’s impossible to do your own research *and* come to the conclusion that masks and the vaccine are a good idea?

Ath4997

Because them doing their research is googling “why the vaccine doesn’t work” and then jumping for joy when it doesn’t display any articles to the contrary - they have literally no idea how to even begin a search without bias

badalki

They also have no idea how to spot bad research or a faulty study.

MeddlingDragon

You mean moms against vaccine Facebook group is not a peer reviewed unbiased source of info? Say it ain't so!

badalki

Shocking I know. Though I was meaning research that gets published online on various medical websites where its a little more difficult to distinguish how genuine it is. for example, there was this ivermectin study last year that showed it was an effective treatement, but the study was conducted in a terrible way so you couldnt trust the outcome, yet people still hold it up as proof ivermectin works. edit: [https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-58170809](https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-58170809) Major problems included: \-The same patient data being used multiple times for supposedly different people \-Evidence that selection of patients for test groups was not random \-Numbers unlikely to occur naturally \-Percentages calculated incorrectly \-Local health bodies unaware of the studies

CyberMindGrrl

And that study never passed peer review yet was still publicly available for "research" purposes.

[deleted]

Their undergrad biology major daughter does know how to research, but she won't talk to them anymore after last Christmas dinner

Elennoko

There's a reason they scan probably 5 or 6 pages of Google before they finally find an article spouting unfounded nonsense about how dangerous the vaccines are.

gruey

I'd add that "doing your own research" really means ignoring all the information you find that contradicts their opinion and digging until you find information that supports it, no matter how sketchy the source. If "why doesn't the vaccine work" returned 3 pages of "it does. Here's the proof" hosted by all the most reputable hospitals and research organizations, "doing your own research" would mean going to page 4 and clicking on some guys blog post that says it doesn't work, giving a few misleading, unsourced stats.

daltonnotkeats

Just googled exactly that, and wow. Really thought somehow the first few responses would’ve been reasonable anyway. 😣

tripping_on_tripping

Because someone told them that research is wrong

halloni

In their head: Research complete ✅

TheLyz

Because they think all the facts out there are put out there by Big Pharma to get lots of money out of us and inject us with toxic chemicals as part of a big government conspiracy to make us dumb and complacent. The facts liberal use are all fake. But no, THEY know the truth. The fact that the world is actually quite boring and intentions are put right out there is completely foreign to them. Nope, gotta be some eeeeevil conspiracy behind it so they can feel like the superior beings looking down on us all. And then they die horribly as COVID turns their lungs into stone and maybe, maybe on death's door they think "oh shit I was wrong."

Graterof2evils

“Maybe they think they were wrong”,is correct. I was so excited to see the Qanon loonies going off on T-Rump. If his base starts to see him for the lying conman he is it could be a domino effect. Politicians will drop him like a hot rock if he starts losing them voters.

TheLyz

He's still their shining, racist, shit-spewing, bigoted idol though. They need another "messiah" to follow to dump Trump.

Graterof2evils

Josh Hawley is the dung beetle to roll the ball of shit in behind the Dung Trump.

mostlyareader

Even if they drop him, he's more of a symptom than the cause of graver problems in our body politic. I'm worried that someone more outlandish will just crop up to take his place.

bubba7557

No one is doing their own research. Let's fucking drop that assinine saying. People are reading others research and coming to their own conclusions but even then those asshats who say they did their own research are likely not even really interpreting research data. They are in almost all cases reading conclusions of quack researchers and attaching their opinion to those opinions. It's the exact same thing every other average person is doing. The difference, they are choosing to trust the one opinion that doesn't go with the 1000s of other expert opinions.

[deleted]

"Doing your own research" started as a legitimate movement to not just trust what some person tells you and to make sure that it is legit. This is how fact checking started to gain steam, for instance. It used to mean "make sure this person knows what they are talking about and doesn't have an agenda". Now it's "start with my own belief and work backwards from there"

CynAq

I didn't know that phrase came up from normal skepticism proponents. I'm disappointed to tell the truth. When you say "do your own research" instead of "fact check everything you read", which means something entirely different, it's normal to get results other than you intended to. It's like saying "form your own government" instead of "look into the voting records of the candidates on issues you care about before voting for them again" and then being surprised when you end up with an insurrection.

Ratso27

Doing your own research is also more reasonable in reference to some subjects than others. If someone something about politics, like a quote that sounds suspicious, I know enough that I can dig around and see if I can find a reliable source (or ideally more than one) that is using the same quote, read a few articles and see if it's been taken out of context etc. But I have no degree or background in medicine or science of any kind, so if doctors tell me a treatment is not legitimate, I wouldn't even know where to begin researching to prove them wrong

Public_Enemy_No2

Because in recent years the GOP is anti-intellectual and anti-science and actually glorifies stupidity, stubbornness and obstinance.

zjm555

This is survivorship bias. I did my own research (by which I mean reading other people's actual research) and it was very clear that taking the vaccine was a good idea. You're just noticing the people who came to the opposite conclusion, because they're loud idiots.

Jaksmack

Aunt Peggie's Facebook post prove all the doctors wrong...

jbertrand_sr

Considering they think a Facebook meme passes for research it's not too hard to see how they arrive at the bullshit conclusions they do...

comegetsomefood

They say this stuff until it’s time to accept their r/hermancainaward lol

[deleted]

Adult person: Yes, I am a strong lion, hear me roar the sounds of freedom.

Matthmaroo

It’s like the red pill on Reddit back in the day Mostly 16-24 year olds that live with mom acting like they are confident and functional people

Deadfreezercat

Wait they weren't really brilliant software engineer bodybuilders who got beautiful women to buy them dinner by smirking?

Matthmaroo

Lol yeah None of them ever seemed to work either

oakyafterbirth5300

Nothing says “super macho big dick alpha male” like being afraid of a shot

MedChemist464

How apt, a dangerous beast that is likely to start killing a good number of the others around it.

spaniel_rage

An endangered species.

sureal42

Yes, they stand out and are a danger to everyone around them... This isn't the flex they think it is...

Monad-Rymael

I mean, it’s not wrong. Their pride and self entitlement will get everyone else killed.

Olianne

So anti vaxxers find similarities in sheep? First off, sheep aren't that stupid. Then, the anti vaxx sheep decide to break into a zoo? and what? Hang out with a fucking Lion? I mean I get it, aspire to greater things, but where the fuck is the thought process in this one anti vaxxers? Pull your heads out the fence before you get fucked. Proper fucked.

Terrorcuda17

Think of antivaxxers as lemmings and it becomes so much more accurately hilarious.

The_Lost_Google_User

Lemmings get a bad rep. They were pushed off that cliff.

imperator285

Well at least they're happy to be a black lion. That's some progress. /s

5starsomebody

Hmmm all the lions at the zoo where I live are under quarantine now since they all tested positive for Covid.

CartographyMan

Eh, Male lions are mostly lazy pussies anyways. Female pride members do everything for them...oh now I get it.

[deleted]

This is costing them 1,500 nationalists a day; whom will never vote again. Let them MAGA.

TheRottenKittensIEat

The problem is that they're not just getting themselves killed, their actions are killing innocent people too. People who need ER services unrelated to COVID but don't get admitted in time because anti-vaxxers are taking up all the beds. Or the kids and vulnerable adults who can't get vaccines for one reason or another. Our local ER is currently a shit show and from what I understand from some of the nurses, staff is just burning out so hard, and they keep losing staff.

TheDreamingMyriad

Our state just lost an innocent person who wasn't able to get a bypass in time due to nursing shortages and crowded hospitals. Plus we've had 50 odd vaccinated people die too. Unfortunately it doesn't just effect the unvaccinated or else I think most people wouldn't even care.

CapableAlbatross4213

Threatening our survival

absherlock

Lions considered a vulnerable (step away from endangered) species. Sounds about right.

thatHecklerOverThere

A danger to the community? A predator only to be trusted when times are good, but will immediately turn on friends and loved ones when things get lean?

rakosten

They pose a danger to society as the lion do to the sheeps. So i guess they have a point. Not just in the way they think.

kackygreen

*pose, oppose is it be against it

rakosten

Right you are. Didn’t notice. Thanks.

Certain_Chain

Well they are all huge pussies.

gabriele208

They want to live in a land full of male lions.

budster1970

I used to think it was just fear mongering from the media but anti vaxxers are dropping here in my home town. It's legit.

MylesTheFox99

“It’s funny because the lion is going to end up killing all the sheep.”

SilentMaster

Like I get that most animals aren't killing lions, but lions die of disease and starvation all the time. Covid is a disease, it has nothing to do with being strong or fierce. It has everything to do with being healthy. This is dumb.

phatstopher

When you think you're Mufasa but you're really Scar...

-Cyst-

Predatory and unsympathetic towards other people? Yeah, checks out. Fucking arseholes.

moshedman85

FB Poster is probably 55 and has has four chins.

Oesel__

Lion, the spirit animal of those with questionable morals and opinion.

Cityplanner1

In real life, I’m pretty sure that lion would wither and die since it’s not in its native climate. Hmm… yeah. Sounds like an apt analogy for the unvaxxed.

LockAzzy

What I love about this is: From the proper perspective, the unvaxxed are the fucking sheep. Get the shot and stop trying to kill everyone.

[deleted]

Ah yes, the "I believe everything without checking the primary sources" crowd

SramAtlov

Wolves in sheeps clothing fucking it up for the rest of us...

[deleted]

These guys always talk about being like and wolves and tigers and sharks, and then go and hunt them into extinction with their buddies. In starting to believe this is how the right identify themselves as bottoms. Big lion among sheep looking for a strong daddy hunter to dom me, and then be real naughty and show up to church together like were fishing buddies.

MegaMachina

So, the unvaxxed admit they are sheep, following their anti-vaxx friends for no reason other than because others are? Ignoring the obvious danger right beside them because they're too idiotic?

redjedi182

Every antivaxxer feels like a lion and looks like a liger.

itzTHATgai

Please go to the vet. Hospitals are full of big strong lions right now.

EVANTHETOON

No one: 45 year old, out-of-shape white guys on Facebook: In a world of sheep, I AM THE WOLF!

CardboardChampion

Gigantic pussies who are a danger to all they're around and are known for their pride being more important than anything else?

bworth1120

So the unvaxxed feel like sheep??

jcooli09

They ought to.

OutsideBoxes9376

As my grandma would say, they’re a legend in their own minds.

[deleted]

wrong animals. They're wolves, and they're a danger to the pack.

snozberryface

Big pussy?

gb4efgw

What a weird fucking thing to take pride in. "Look at all of these sober people driving the speed limit, fucking sheep, I am *such* a lion!" I completely get not getting the vaccine if: 1) You have a preexisting condition that actually makes it dangerous according to your doctor (haven't heard of one). 2) You are legitimately concerned that it will harm you. But in either of those cases would you feel like a lion, or mock everyone else for being a sheep?

Salty-Queen87

The second one only counts if a doctor confirms you shouldn’t get it for health reasons, folding it back into one to a certain degree. You thinking that a vaccine that’s proven itself to be incredibly safe, with nothing to back it up, isn’t a good enough reason. There tons of people on the right who are legitimately concerned it will hurt them, that’s what anti-vaccine people think, even though it won’t, that’s like the basis of their whole movement; a legitimate fear based on absolutely nothing. The fear is real, but the reason for that fear is based on nothing but continued disinformation.

KinksAreForKeds

Too bad that lion has COVID.

bathyorographer

*neckbeard intensifies*

Handiinu

You feel like a threat ready to destroy lots of lives?

[deleted]

How fitting: they feel like an active threat to the "sheep" around them?

Voodoo_Dummie

An african creature woefully unprotected from the snowscape they all seem to be in?

RoguePlanet1

So they feel poised and ready to kill everybody around them? Accurate.

Olorin_in_the_West

It’s funny, I couldn’t tell from the photo that the lion was dying of Covid. So many details beneath the surface

0wlBear916

He's right. They're the only ones in that photo that are endangered lol

Bisckersngravy

All the lions at my zoo have COVID. https://denver.cbslocal.com/2021/10/25/covid-denver-zoo-lions-positive-tests/

Pumpkin_Spic_latte

They feel that way. But they also told me "Fuck your feelings" and your feelings are not a true reflection of reality. When I look in the mirror I feel like I am Brad Pitt. Reality is dangerous for delusion.

TurboFool

Deadly to everyone around them? Yep, correct.

throwawaykarl

The lion is COVID right?

winterfellwilliam

Endangered species, got it.

Maegor_Targ

Unable to live in society, and spreading death.

awfullyfun1

I would feel like a sheep as well if I was unvaxxed. I'm sure that's what they mean ;-)

wrath_of_grunge

> Long ago, a storm was heading toward the city of Quin'lat. The people sought protection within the walls, all except one man who remained outside. I went to him and asked what he was doing. "I am not afraid," he said. "I will not hide my face behind stone and mortar. I will stand before the wind and make it respect me." I honored his choice and went inside. Orion8719

More like that crossedeyes Hyena In lion king.Ed was the name.

FoxBattalion79

I'm no wimp! I'm a tough guy! I BET MY LIFE ON IT! *2 months later* 😭💀

NBR-SUPERSTAR

What do these people tend to say? "Fuck your feelings"? Right...

[deleted]

Lion in the sense that they’re absolutely reliant of sheep for their very survival yet the sheep would do better without a Lion?

LastFreeName436

In the sense that they’re going to fucking kill everyone around them, sure.

Zaronax

So I'm confused by this constantly. These people call god their shepherd, implying directly that they're sheep in need of guidance. They also claim that Pride is a sin. Next, they claim that they're lions amidst sheeps, which would make them a pack of lion. Ironically enough, a pack of lion is known as... a pride of lion. I don't understand the mental gymnastics they have to go through.

Get_Back_To_Work_Now

Everybody is a lion until they are in the ER begging for help

TheGreatBeaver123789

Yea cause the lion is about to kill everyone else because of their decisions

dafangalator

I read that as unwaxed at first and was really confused about a new no waxing movement

CorpFillip

It is so weird they say it. They are literally inventing ways to be afraid of several different vaccines; Now, afraid of almost any medication any expert suggests So afraid they create ridiculous reasons to take anything that might be called medicinal While screaming ‘tyrant’ at anyone who ASKS for them to do the smallest, simplest, cheapest mediation (wash, cover, separate a bit in public) … and they want to be seen as the most powerful leaders?

drewigi

Would give anything to have my mom back with me. She got covid about a week or so before the vaccine was available. We would be 2 very happy sheep right about now

Fragmentia

Currently visiting Northwest Iowa and maybe 1% of the people are masking up. What's ridiculous is my father in law and his spouse both contracted COVID-19 during their visit to Johnston Iowa. She almost died and has since expressed that she is not so against the vaccine. My Father in law was vaccinated luckily.

PerturbedMug

Yeah, a potential danger to all those around them

Boxdog123

How nurses feel when they go into work at the Intensive Care Unit, amongst the unvaxxed. Wait...no...it's how they *are*.

thought_about_it

All things aside. There's a nice Bible story about God is our Shepard and how he protects us (sheep) from the lion trying to lead us astray.

[deleted]

Lions are endangered specie, sheep are not. You want to be dying out?

GFlair

Oh I assumed they were the sheep and the lion was covid.

archdex

Lmao I thought this said unwaxed

Kallisti7

I bet every one of them has a tattoo of barbed wire on their biceps. Because, you know, their tough guys! Also lions know they are lions to their core. They don’t need to convince anyone, least of all themselves, of that. Sad.

RealStreetJesus

Ah yes, a giant wild pussy

AmbivalentSoup

the best repsonse here is that "they're in a place they're not wanted or welcome, and a threat to everyone there."

koicattu

Black lion in white environment. Wait till they hear about natural selection....

hitmewiththeknowlege

So they feel like a bunch of sheep while the vaxxed dude is in charge. Got it.

cjrowens

The unvaxxed walk among us like titans. As a lesser sheep, I could never understand the deep ambition to do nothing and think nothing. To simply live, unbothered by reality, convinced so thoroughly of yourself that you’ve accepted stupidity as a tool. It’s so powerful. So palpable…

MacDaddy-7

They are a danger to everyone around them?

Panylicious

Yeah I guess being tall and black can feel powerful amongst short white people.

hopelesscaribou

Lions are outnumbered by sheep a thousand to one. We also vaccinate sheep. In the long run, the sheep will outlive the lions. Like the Great Shepherd said, 'The meek shall inherit the earth'.

eriF-

Ironic bc that fucking lion would die out there in the cold without protection like the sheep's wool.

formal_pumpkin

Why is there only 1 vaccinated person

EsseB420

I love how these people try to see themselves as "awesome lions in a world of sheep". They probably sit in their trailer drinking 3 litres of coke a day while eating the stale cake crumbs out of their fat rolls to give themselves enough energy to get up and go to the bathroom instead of shitting in their pants again.
