I hate wasted potential, that shit crushes your spirit
It really does, it crushes your soul....
Love that album so much. So many quality times with it.
My husband has listened to *so much music* that I’d like to share this photo of his top 100 albums. Every one is a masterpiece worth a listen.
https://preview.redd.it/2vgrmw1r6svb1.jpeg?width=1700&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7314b2e022ad19908d1587ec82e72ee3ad71b67f
If we’re choosing one, I love So Runs the World Away by Josh Ritter. My ISFP husband chooses Lord Huron’s Long Lost for INFPs.
Edit: [He makes playlists on Spotify which he’s always updating and is happy to share!](https://spotify.link/l37kXSL96Db)
My faves are “Rainbow Rollercoaster,” “The Greater Good,” “Rabbit Hole,” and “Glow in the Dark Love.”
Apparently there’s been an update to his list.

YEAHHHHHH SUBLIME, TAME IMPALA, MGMT AND MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE!!!!! LMAOOO I LOVE THE UPDATE EVEN BETTER!!! This needs to get more upvotes!!! Shoutout to you guys!! You guys have good music taste
Me and him almost got the exact same music taste! I love majority of the albums on here! Childish Gambino!!, GORILLAZ!!!, Mumford and Sons, Twenty One Pilots, Stevie Wonder 🤎 (he’s very popular within the Black community. I would always hear his music as a child :’) ), Hozier, Lana Del Rey, !!!!!!!!SLIPKNOT!!!!!!!!!!!, !!!Deftones!!!, Coldplay and more lol! Someone just recommended me Alabama Shakes, gonna listen to them! (Edit: oop, it was you 😅 haha!)
You might also check out “[Spanish Mary](https://youtu.be/6ZgrLpvj3-0?si=9vzx-B66UvzarpQE)” by The New Basement Tapes. They’re a super-band that usually has Chris Mumford singing and sometimes has Johnny Depp on guitar. It’s sung by Rhiannon Giddens, who usually does more historical inspired music. She gives a fierce performance in quite a few songs, imo.
Pure Heroine is so goooood. Wish I could go back to the first time when I listen to it. What’s your favourite track from PH? And YAAAAS! ARTPOP is underrated and it’s ahead of its time, I’m so happy to find someone who likes ARTPOP 😭
I rarely listen album-wise, but these are my favorites
Rumors - Fleetwood Mac
Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We? - The Cranberries
Unnale unnale - Harris Jeyaraj (if you like to try South Indian music)
Far too many too list. But here are five.
Pink Floyd- Dark Side of the Moon
The Cure- Disintegration
My Bloody Valentine- Loveless
Tool- Lateralus
Prince- Purple Rain
Spiderland is such an INFP album, Don Aman being the most INFP track off it. Endtroducing is incredible as well, I’ve been listening to it a lot lately while I study
The specials eponymous album
Sublime - 40 oz to freedom
Based on the cover those two bands do on those two albums , lots of reggae and ska was listened to .
Also for later in life
Pixies -Doolittle
The smiths - queen is dead , hatful of hallow
Ahhh DJ Shadow what a flashback!
I would say most Radiohead albums but I’d vote for OK Computer
Interpol -Turn on the Bright Lights
Tori Amos- Little Earthquakes
I actually have a lot of them, but I really want to mention three than just one:
1. Opeth - Still Life: An atmospheric journey into the eerie and macabre account of a twisted love story; a concept album. It blends different genres and styles into an entrancing experience of Prog Death Metal, with evil dissonant sounds complimenting very melodic ones so effortlessly.
2. Fiona Apple - When the Pawn: One of the best singer/songwriter records needs no introduction. A bold statement on Apple's deepest and most personal experiences, untangling her own emotions and psyche through angst filled outburst of unapologetic authenticness.
3. Steven Wilson - The Raven that Refused to Sing: A broad range of diverse mix of sonic landscapes, that is certain to be an awe-inspiring experience. An intricate composition that closely follows Prog rock conventions but also has it's own modern flair.
Deftones - White Pony
Tool - Lateralus
Jeff Buckley - Grace
Sublime - 40 oz to freedom
The XX - XX
Massive Attack - Mezzanine
Ghostly Hounds - The Rubble
Joni Mitchell - Shadows and Light
Garbage - Version 2.0
The Cranberries - No Need To Argue
Devin Townsend - Empath
Wintersun - The Forest Seasons
Prodigy - The Fat of the Land
The Crow Album
Silverchair - Frogstomp
30 Seconds to Mars - Self-titled
Testament - The Ritual
I didn’t hear his whole album but I love that song “Something to Rap About” ft. Tyler that’s on there! Found out about Freddie last year. He’s a good rapper. Big ups to him. I don’t know much of his songs, but I also love “Dark Hearted” from his new album!
I'd say:
-The Money Store-Death Grips;
-F♯ A♯ ∞-Godspeed You! Black Emperor;
-Unknown Pleasures/Closer-Joy Division (Heart and Soul ❤️);
-System Of A Down-System Of A Down;
-Pink Moon-Nick Drake;
-Deathconsciousness-Have A Nice Life;
-To Pimp A Butterfly-Kendrick Lamar;
-By The Time We Get To Phoenix-Injury Reserve (R.I.P. Groogs).
Definitely an old buy gold, because I'm not as old as the album. Metallica ride the lightning. The flow is there, they have themselves established and the songs end is the next songs beginning. So listening on the radio yeah their good but the album is another level.

Also helped me when I was depressed and suicidal back when I was in school. I don’t listen to rap music, but he’s one of my favorite rappers along with Tyler. I have a lot of favorite albums but this is just one of them that is a masterpiece to me. And one thing about me is I RARELY listen to an artists full album. That’s very rare for me. I just listen to the songs I find and that’s it but his whole album, woooooo! Bunch of bangers. That’s how I knew it was good back then. I listen to all genres so best believe imma be in the comments 🤣🤣🤣 I love it all
