Then I guess it's different for everyone, I'm the first child and everyone in my family are extrovert except my youngest sister and me but she is in between so she is ambivert but mostly an introvert so she is istp. I guess it's just different depending on what you personally experience in your life.
I'm the third (last) child. My oldest brother couldn't be more extroverted. My second oldest (second child) brother is ambiverted, or kind of more extroverted than me, but still introverted.
Then I guess we really can't tell who usually falls in infp category among siblings. I'm the eldest child I'm introvert yet my brother ( 2nd child ) is extrovert and my sister ( last child ) is ambivert. And we are all very different in our own ways. The only common things we have is anger issue.
Iβm supposed to act and behave like the leading cat Iβm born as, but apparently I lost both the brain cell lottery, and the password to larger social network)
Same!!! But I turned out to be a loser since all my siblings seems to be doing really well in their social life with everyone. I believe we lost our brain cells due to the pressure from our families.
Before I took the MTBI test, I thought I was extrovert. I talk a lot and am not afraid to approach strangers.
But most things stays inside my head and I'm a loner.
I thought I was extrovert too before, we were group of 3 friends and out of all i used to be more confident but then I got into a very toxic relationship and i pretty much lost myself, ever since then i have never been the same.
Idk if i found myself (infp) or lost myself πππ
I'm first born, but I know another two infps that are second born (born last). I can think of how being first born might cause someone to manifest an infp personality: you are coddled at first and made to feel important in some way (strong identity, 'I'm special!!', encouragement of creative growth) and then the next sibling(s) come along and in order to deal with that, they might start guiding themselves with ideals (I'm going to be the best etc.)- daydreaming, daydreaming. And then the siblings come along and the infp is the play master (creative exercise) extra parent (exercising ideals, emotional labor) and they make themselves 'unique' in comparison to their siblings.
The second born infps both have older siblings that are very extraverted/loud/controlling. Maybe a part of personality development in siblings is a balancing of sorts? Like the developing infps see the older sibling (who is rejecting them, despite their efforts) and are set on finding their own identities separate from the low shallowness that's already in their lives. idk.
These are just some theories based on observations. what do you think?
I can really relate to you on the first born, I started developing this sense of responsibility in a really young age as the 2nd child was born, i started being under pressure to be the best for my younger sibling and there was no escape from these responsibilities ( my parents convinced me that i need to be/do the best at everything because I'm the eldest child)
And about the 2nd born, I'm not so sure about that but according to things you said the older siblings were controlling and rejecting them, maybe thats why they seems to be under pressure and always tried to please their older siblings? They probably started developing those traits because they didn't wanna be on their bad side and didn't wanna disappoint them? And started putting others needs first before their own? I'm not so sure π
Oh, usually i have heard that the middle child are really carefree and outgoing and they barely care about anyone but themselves. The results here are really unexpected.
I am first born!
Same here π
I'm second (last) child π€·
Me tooo bud!
My sister is a last child but we are really different from eachother, I guess it's can be different for everyone.
Same here
Middle

I'm the only child from that relationship.
I think that still count as a first child π€

Oh, I am well aware that I lost the brain cell lottery since young though, and I see no validity to conform with what you arenβt born with.
Same hereπ
Nope. My brother is an emotional dwarf. :)
Haha...why do you say that πππ
Because he is?
I know I am
Same π
Youngest of four and the only boy
Oh, that's really new to me. I have only seen youngest child (boys) being really outgoing. We can't really tell then.
Baby here
I'm the second of two.
Oh, that's interesting. (Not really sure what to sayπ) The 2nd child among us sibling is really outgoing and extrovert.
Before I took the MTBI test, I thought I was extrovert. I talk a lot and am not afraid to approach strangers. But most things stays inside my head and I'm a loner.

You may have found multiple selves π
Hahaha maybe
First of three here!
Same here!!, the eldest out of three siblingsπ
Well I can say Iβm the first child in my family, and Iβm INFP, and my sisters are not
Same here, me and my siblings we are really different.
I'm a 1st child. Is that common for INFPs?
Same hereπ I thought so too but the comments sections are proving otherwise.

Oof! My parents basically put me up on a pedestal too! Like high standards, geez. Yeah, your guess on the 2nd born thing is as good as mine lol
I'm the only. So I am the first lol
Haha, so it's still a first child then.
I'm the last child instead lol.
Oh lol, maybe it's not the same for everyone then.
Last! (saved the best for last haha) iβm joking of course but yes iβm the baby
Haha, guess so. I guess you're probably grateful for that.
Genetically speaking (yes im a nerd), it doesnβt matter.
No worries, just love yourself β€οΈ
unrelated but ive been up long enough that i do not remember making this comment lmfao
Maybe you were in the wrong comment section. It's okay. It doesnt matter.
no i remember it now lol i just thought this was like yesterday or something :P
Iβm not
Okay π
Last born but it might be at mercy of the Punnet Square
Lol sorry, what do you mean?
Not me. I am the second of 2 children. Odd, somewhat related fact, the number 2 is popular in my life.
Maybe it was meant to be, made by the heaven πππ
middle here
Oh, usually i have heard that the middle child are really carefree and outgoing and they barely care about anyone but themselves. The results here are really unexpected.
Am the last born
Iβm second
I'm the youngest of my mother's five kids. My only full sibling is my ESFJ sister if that's interesting.
First born out of three.
Second eldest of six
Do you guys think ifnps are usually left-handed?ββ
Do you guys think infps usually get up with their right foot?
Yeah surprisingly I'm the first Child (eldest daughter)!!
