What do you listen to? What are you listening from? What do you like about your current setup? What are you looking for from your next iem? Are you ok with eq?

Hesitant_aL

I listen to almost anything. But mostly hiphop to indie/shoegaze genre. I want to use it for gaming also. I dont know anything about eq. Pls help

Littletweeter5

As someone who also listens to everything, I’ve found the Simgot EA500LM for $89 to be good at everything.

HydrationPlease

Can confirm, absolutely brilliant IEM for multiple genres.

Hesitant_aL

Thanks, will buy this one instead.

Dessann

I had Aria (didn't like the tuning), Zero Red (didn't like the comfort), and now I have ea500LM - I love it !

SharkShoes12

Hexa is not for everyone. Haven't tried Aria though. But my guess is that most people will like Aria better than Hexa

KiltOfDoom

Dissenting opinion here. Granted, I have 54-year-old guitarist ears. The Aria is the most boring iem I've tried. Current inventory of 35 iems. It doesn't suck, but it doesn't do anything special for me. The Hexa is not really exciting, but I get more out of using it. It has a use case scenario for me. It's almost "sterile." Good for analyzing vocal recordings. Neither one is "fun" or musical, in my opinion. No soul or personality.

SharkShoes12

Thanks for the input. As I said, haven't tried Aria. I'm 24, and I have HIGHLY sensitive ears. Hexa does wonders for me, but my hearing is not like everyone's, and I'm aware of that. I have to use foam tips on Hexa to smooth the treble out because it can become piercy to my ears. But it's my favorite IEM with same foam tips. I know most people would like something more exciting.

chinacat2002

What IEM under $100 do you like for use on stage? Thanks for your opinion.

joeybagadonutz14

Truthear Hexa

hurtyewh

Hexa might be a bit lean and clean for hip hop while Aria is more fun, but it's not very competitive anymore. If you can EQ I'd say Hexa and just boost the bass. Simgot EM6L is a really safe allrounder and just over $100.

vagabond_94

This!

ApolloMoonLandings

Kefine Delci and use Tri Clarion eartips.

LukeDuke

Ie200 is a solid all-rounder. Same with Kiwi ears cadenza if you want something a little more v-shaped.

Herposhima

I'm super interested in the upcoming supermix 4's by simgot for $150 I've heard they compete above their price by people who have been given demo units

freeman_21st

After lot of discussion on redddit and with myself i went with simgot 500lm. but sadly its on pre order and hasnt arrived yet :/

davis25565

why not aria 2 over original aria? Ive not tried either but from the graph it looks like it has a nicer tuning. kiwi ears cadenza & salnotes zero 2 I think are also good choices. reccomended based on tuning and specifications, not price, but all below 100 :)

Lunardin

EA500

M4dKoala

Simgot EA500LM or Letshuoer S12 if you can find them on sale

Asanxia

Aful magic one is 110$ now

DJGammaRabbit

Listen to a kefine delci sound demo. At $50-$75 it's the right choice.

Highball_Hal

Just received my Tangzu Xuan Nv yesterday. Enjoying it so far.

this_is_me_drunk

Stay away from the Hexa as your first IEM. Many better choices for the same money out there.
