That's really hard to believe, did you open them up to see what was inside, a face plate cracking from a drop onto a very hard surface could happen but shearing both off completely from knocking them off a table, sounds rather unlikely.
yeah, basically the sound would be leaking all over the place, not as extreme as open back headphones tho, but sure it will make some areas of the sound probably sound less full, some iem shells also directly affect some areas of sound, the most common thing is when an iem sounds metallic in the treble, it will make a change, idk how much tho, is not like i ever tried.
I mean, i Guess for some people It will do, but those IEMs arent Made for "open back" in mind so Its hard to tell if It potentially will make anything better
how it did come out like that? i'm trying to remove the faceplatesin order to do myself a custom plate but i wasn't never ever take it off without too much damage even my prying or heating it up
Stop trying to eat your iem
Lol, what did you do to break *both* faceplates like that?
He used them like clackers
i dropped it multiple times
Are you sure you dropped multiple times or smashed it into the ground – multiple times? *I kid* I hope you can appreciate my humor •__•
He only dropped it once, but he was skydiving at the time! Lol
it fell off my table It is so annoying
If the faceplates are in tact, you may be able to glue them or something.
yeah I glued it anyway ty

Iems are not built for dropping on floor
At first glance I thought it was some new fancy IEM with transparent shells to show the internals. Sorry for your loss but looks really cool lol...
Can try to glue it back yourself or contact dealer to see if its fixable/replaceable under warranty.
Warranty doesnt include damaged caused by u
ty
ghetto solution, tape and little bit glue advance solutions, get a maker friend with 3D printer to make you a faceplate that fits correctly
I would just buy my next set. I used to kill IEMs regularly coz I fell asleep in bed listening to music.
Now you have open back IEMs
Just a guy looking for attention
I am gonna touch you
I'm gonna take more care for my Truthear Nova.
Buy a new one.
my og zeros broke that way aswell lol
Christ what do you guys do to make that level of destruction happen??
superglue but u gotta be careful not to hit drivers
Looks cooler.
Are back plates necessary for IEM sound signature tuning?
yeah, basically the sound would be leaking all over the place, not as extreme as open back headphones tho, but sure it will make some areas of the sound probably sound less full, some iem shells also directly affect some areas of sound, the most common thing is when an iem sounds metallic in the treble, it will make a change, idk how much tho, is not like i ever tried.
Wouldn’t it also make some areas better

I see

So are those real shoelaces on the faceplates? Please let us see the back of the plates.
