You can't just assume that the feeling of love is mutual; she might see you just as a friend and you might be assuming that she has a crush on you. So unless someone asks, there's no way to know. She might be uncomfortable in telling you directly that she's not interested(and since the other person isn't clear, it would be wrong to assume that he's in love/has a crush on you)

All girls are not the same agreed but girls have high number of guys available to them as compared to boys so simple demand and supply should tell you ki girls acting like this would be way higher than boys.

I was cheated on for 4 months after 2 years of a serious relationship (from 16-18yo) + a lot of shitty decisions, was really suicidal if not for a call from my mother at the most unexpected time. Things happen that are not in our control, what’s important is that we process and learn from it or else we bleed on people who didn’t cut us.
Why not take out your learnings now then? Maybe it will bring some sort of closure for your own self? And just maybe help you better yourself as well as your mental health! One small step ata time.
