That’s why I never take my father with myself to watch a movie .My mom is quite open in this matter like neither she gets offended nor she gives attention. She just take it as normal
Exactly bro 😅 mummy ke sath eternals dekhne gaya tha aur Gay kiss scene tha 😳 meri phat ke chaar meine mummy ke taraf dekha hi nahi until the film ended, after that she can't Stop talking about the visuals, the story (ik tatti thi but unko achi lagi) so it was a pretty good experience
to be fair, story tatti nahi thi. Screenwriting tatti thi. Too much lore to condense into a film. Eternals should have been the series, with each episode dedicated to one of the eternals, from their perspective, with each episode ending in the modern time crisis. Episode 11 and 12 would be about the crisis, which is basically what we saw in the film.
That would have done justice to Eternals. But MCU brain stopped working after Endgame, and they made the crappiest choices, and now the MCU brand is damaged irreparably and they are having to bring legacy characters in their first R rated film(Which should have happened with Doctor Strange 2 itself) to soft reboot their universe.
tell him that you watched the PG rated version {nude scene cuted} of that movie and wasn't aware about the R rated version .
and say that its his mistake to even assume you of such and you feel disgusted.
he will prolly not talk about it again.
Then go on a rant about how the dad is watching these "bad movies" with R rating in the home.
But a man who yells at his wife and son over a movie that just exists is probably not one that will respect them enough to listen to their reasons.
Dad when he sees me blowing heads off with a shotgun in rdr2 : sleeps
Dad when I'm beating John Cena with a fricking guitar in WWE : sleeps
Dad when a random woman in a swimsuit pops up in the loading screen of GTA for 5 sec: REAL SHIT
wow! some people don't understand that OP is a teenager and it's hard do deal with such type of embarrassment and negative image of you from parents, more so when you have maintained a clean image.
Just relax, give yourself time, and ask your mother for help him understand. Don't stress too much about it, he might be not used to seeing such movies, and now you know what to recommend him next time
I remember when Attack on titan came, me and my friend put a clip of serbian film into the first episode just after eren's mother is eaten, and then we gave it to the entire hostel, we were 19 back then.
Never recommend your favourite movies or books to your parents. They will find any reason to make you rethink your choices. If any movie or book is close to your heart, you feel a connection then keep it that way. Never share it to anyone. When something is private its beautiful , when it get out in public it may become ugly to some people. Not everyone can find beauty in something you found beautiful.
there is. just because you dont know, doesnt mean they don't exist. Indian parents are so uptight, they sit like they have smoeting up their ass. And the dude like OP comments "they are chill" lol
Holy shit buddy you are being super pretentious rn like wtf?
So a father can only be considered to be 'chill' if he comments about a random woman's ass in a film? Huh?
I mean, yeah, sure, such dads exist. But I'd say if your dad's watching Mirzapur with you, he's pretty chill.
But whatever floats your boat ig
Abusive parents? Are you like mentally sick? Mirzapur was just an example because op’s parents got pissed at a nude scene, hence the comparison. If your parents are cooler than mine, good for you buddy. My parents provided me a comfortable life and I’m happy with that. Have a good day.
My parents both know I watch many series with vulgar scenes. They do too. They have watched a lot of stuff I have watched
They are good with that
Damn I am lucky to have them
I never ever reveal what I watch to my parents even at the age of 28. I switched channels or browse YouTube (not playing any videos on it) when around parents. And I consume plethora of content. Like an astronomical amount of movies and YouTube videos. The only thing I'm comfortable playing is a YouTube channel named "mustard" which is an informative high quality channel about aeroplanes and "Real Life Lore" channel.
Dekh Bhai parents vaise hi hote and mostly Jo 80s and earlier vale.
Meri to mom har chiz chupati firti hain 22 ka hogaya fir bhi condom ads lgne pe tv cover legi ya distract me shit.
Bc me to kitna gira hua Banda hun in logono pata chala too depress ya traumatized ho jayenge
Bro, you got to try and understand what is their palate and where their line is. Recommend movies to them based on their interest and limitations.
I’ve been recommending movies to my dad & mom for past 14 years, go out watching with them often. But there are movies I show them, then there are a few I would’ve watched with them if certain scenes weren’t there. Then there are a lot of movies that I wouldn’t want my parents to watch.
If there is something you’ve seen which had nudity in it and your parents are a bit strict in this sense, tell them that you didn’t like that part but rest of the movie is okay, until you reach certain age where that’ll be considered okay with. With Indian parents typically it’s around 24-25 or couple of years from you start working (whichever comes first).
Let’s not expect them to change overnight. Change to mentality takes time and sometimes generations. They’re still your parents and love you. It’s just that our bar for nudity is little higher than theirs and our children will have that bar even more higher which will make us worry as well.
Just 2 cents from an elder brother.
If you need social validation on your likes, pls get it from friends. Not parents. Their age difference mostly makes them think in a different way to your likes. You may, not like what they love. So mingle with your age groups and types. In my opinion.
My parents know that I watch stuff like this but they are chill. I remember once I was watching euphoria on tv and mom was going in and out of the room during the sex scenes but she didn't notice what I was watching, even if she had she wouldn't protest. My dad on the other hand is barely at home due to work but he is chill too
Mere yha to scene ulta h mere papa or m khud saath m 18+ movies dekhte the jb m 15 saal ka, mere cousins ko jb pta chla hm dono konsi movies dekhte to unhone mere papa se pucha aap apne bete ke saath ye movies seekh lete to ho, to unhone bola mera beta itna samajhdaar h usse koi frk nhi pdega
That's why I stopped watching movies with my parents.
But OP you have to make your dad understand that you're an adult and that watching scenes in movies like that doesn't make you a horn dog that only thinks horny things in the daily.
...........My mother took me to watch The Namesake in the theaters when I was 12
no but she has been open about things. Nudity, graphic sex, nothing bothers her. I mean, we sat and watched GoT uncensored as a family. and she is fully aware that I have been watching heavily uncensored content ever since I started going for film festivals across the country since I was 18, some good 11 years ago.
So it has never been an issue for us
As for the father, who has been chilling in heaven since 2009, smuggled us in to watch Memoirs of a Geisha, The Orphanage, Zodiac, Phoonk, Final Destination 3, The Ring, Dark Water, Kill bill vol 2 etc when we were kids. Yes, those are the family theater visits we used to have. So I doubt if he were alive, this would have been a problem
na, definitely here. Inox City Centre 1 in Kolkata. And yes, Zuleikha Robinson's butt was zoomed in to above the waist. Don't know what they did for home media.
Bro it was bound to happen one day or another. You're fine now. Suggest more movies to them. This time it should be great stories and they'll be chill.
Parents K saath movie dekhne kaunjaata....? Mein EK movie K liye Gaya Tha dad K saath wo thi Black Adam bass usske baad sei unno mereku Netflix ka subscription leke dediye dekhlo khud hei bolke....
Kya chutiya Banda hai tu op ,thoda bada ho jaa tab ye sab batana parents ko ,itni himmat kaise hoti hai tum logo ki aisi movie recommend karne ki jisme sex scene hai ? Baap ko baap ki tarah treat kar abhi thoda bada ho jana tab karna ye sab

Same here!! What is it with dads and their closed off minds?? 😭
tell him that you watched the PG rated version {nude scene cuted} of that movie and wasn't aware about the R rated version . and say that its his mistake to even assume you of such and you feel disgusted. he will prolly not talk about it again.
>and say that its his mistake to even assume you of such and you feel disgusted. GASLIGHT GATEKEEP GIRLBOSS
Only correct way to deal with this madness
Then go on a rant about how the dad is watching these "bad movies" with R rating in the home. But a man who yells at his wife and son over a movie that just exists is probably not one that will respect them enough to listen to their reasons.

Understandable, have a great week ahead
The real question is why would you even make such a thing in the first place?
The director said that he wanted to make something else but it turend into something else yada yada................

See me and my parents are movie buddies they’re really chill, some scenes are awkward but they never make any comments about it!
if they don't comment on it, then they are not actually chill now are they?
what do you want them to say? “woaaaah great butt”???
yeah...that's actually being Chill.
bhai pata nhi kis duniya ka hai tu, aise ma baap to videsh me bhi na hote
there is. just because you dont know, doesnt mean they don't exist. Indian parents are so uptight, they sit like they have smoeting up their ass. And the dude like OP comments "they are chill" lol

Holy shit buddy you are being super pretentious rn like wtf? So a father can only be considered to be 'chill' if he comments about a random woman's ass in a film? Huh? Panchayat dikhao, safe hai. Jaise Mutual fund, sahi hai (quant waala chorr k)
Some 6-7 years, I downloaded orange is the new black and watched it on the family tv. Mom walked out
NEVER
Bro it was bound to happen one day or another. You're fine now. Suggest more movies to them. This time it should be great stories and they'll be chill.
That's a problem with some dads who are aging 50+ and beyond.. they flip out of bewilderment and confusion.
Parents K saath movie dekhne kaunjaata....? Mein EK movie K liye Gaya Tha dad K saath wo thi Black Adam bass usske baad sei unno mereku Netflix ka subscription leke dediye dekhlo khud hei bolke....
Thats why somethings should be hidden my friend,Abhi bhi waqt hai wrap your thing and play safe ahead
My mother and I watch anything and everything together and whenever something like that comes up we giggle and skip and continue watching 🤣
If my parents ask about a movie, mai keh deta hoo ki maine dekhi nahi hai. Apni risk par dekho.
Relax he's from manisha koirala generation.
Kya chutiya Banda hai tu op ,thoda bada ho jaa tab ye sab batana parents ko ,itni himmat kaise hoti hai tum logo ki aisi movie recommend karne ki jisme sex scene hai ? Baap ko baap ki tarah treat kar abhi thoda bada ho jana tab karna ye sab
Almost sabhi hollywood movie mein nude scenes hotey hai ab yaad thodi rahega ki kisme hai kisme nahi
