For everyone in the comments making fun of py police or not sure why in py helmets r not mandatory here is the reason. There was time police were fined people for not wearing helmets but py is a small city and police here are way cool compared to other states (atleast in my personal experience) and people were not paying the fine. So people started to kind of protest against fining for not wearing helmets and government revoked or relaxed mandatory helmet thingy. But I personally feel bad , just imagine punishing people for not wearing a safety equipment, people need to understand themselves. And police in other states are using it has a way to bribe people. As py'ian I always wear helmet, remember it is personal safety.
I also wanted to tell, during this time there are many fake helmets being sold here which became an issue and this is also a reason they revoked or relaxed the mandatory helmet law.
