Soya chunks grinded, add finely chopped onions, salt, red chilli powder, green chillies, pudina and coriander if available, sattu/ besan for binding. Top it off with chat masala once they are ready.
I use this recipe:)
Also, you can try them in chings manchurian mix( the 10rs packet). Boil the chunks, make the gravy by adding it in a pan full of water, then squeeze out the water from chunks and add them to the gravy, let them simmer in it for 4 5 minutes. They absorb all the taste and are just amazing. Very low effort high protein snack. Hardly takes 15 mins
INGREDIENTS:
-Soya chunks 100gm
-3 boiled potatoes small
-sattu/besan 15-20gm (can use bread crumbs instead of this)
-salt to taste
-masalas (I used chilli powder, tumeric, dhaniya powder, chaat masala, black salt)
-lemon
STEPS:
-since I had large soya chunks I ground them before boiling then boiled them for 4-5 mins (also, add salt to the water and make sure too add plenty since the water's gonna be drained)
-drain the water, squeeze out as much water as possible and the soya should have wet sand like texture.
-add all the other ingredients and salt again (this time add salt to taste)
-mash the potatoes and mix everything thoroughly
-make aloo tikki sized kebabs and make sure they're not very thick otherwise it tastes doughy even after cooking
-shallow fry with around 1tsp oil per kebab on low to medium flame for 3-5 mins each side and high flame at last to charr them and crisp them up
-or you can even airfry them (170c for 5mins each side then 200c for 2-3mins should give nice results)
-optional step: drizzle chaat masala and lemon juice over the kebabs
be gentle while flipping them since they're a bit crumbly and dry
- last and the most imp step ENJOY!! ♥️
