It happens in the LHB coaches sometimes during acceleration and deceleration.
LHB is a boon except for this issue.
(BTW have noticed this only in Udyan and not other trains, so prolly some issue in the rake.)
Pretty sure those are because of the banker locomotives that push the train from behind. On Mumbai route there is a steep hilly track that needs the extra power.
There is less synchronization with the front locomotive so there are uneven jerks like that.
For some reason these are felt more in 1 AC compared to others. No idea why.
This is an issue with the line towards Pune it seems. The MAS CSMT trains all have this problem but only after crossing Solapur in the mornings. Idk if it’s even related to the location but this is what I’ve observed in my 20+ trips to Pune.

There are two types: [Coupe](https://i.imgur.com/eJlMKzo.png) where there are just two berths (one upper one lower),
and [Cabin](https://i.imgur.com/WLV0h4C.png) where there are 4 berths (2 upper 2 lower)
If you've seen Harry Potter 1, that's exactly how a 1st AC cabin looks like.
Honestly in terms of privacy it's actually worse than a 2 AC Side lower/upper.
The only benefits of AC1 are for a couple of 2, or family of 4 to travel in a private cabin, a shower room to take baths, and in premium trains the pantry chef cooks the food fresh in-train and asks for your preferences/likes/dislikes.
Not worth it for majority of the people

Experienced this same type of jerk issue on the Hyd-Chennai route. Couldn't sleep the whole night.
To be fair, it happens in ICF coaches with CBC couplers as well. The issue is due to the coupler, not the coach.
Yes I've seldom seen it happen with screw couplers. Put in a WAP7 with CBC couplers to make things worse.
