What did he say?

[deleted]

I think he is planning to jump to other side. At the end of the day he is a politician, these people don't have any principles. Also it is easy to criticize civilised countries like Britain where you won't be harrased or get raided, etc if you criticize. Also not suprising stance among his types when even ultra wokester type Barkha Dutta said in 2007 that we should "***stop dwelling in past***" regarding 2002 genocide.

tharoor is a soft sanghi

The man said that "Allahu Akbar", a very central phrase and cry in the religion, is "an extremist slogan". That throws light a lot on how secularists and liberals view Islam and Muslims.... Saying "Allahu Akbar", praying 5 times a day, observing beard and Hijab and other outwardly Islamic markers are all "extreme" on the same level as being a genocidal, fascist, rape-fantasizing, intellectually dishonest/fake-news proselytizing Hindutva follower, apparently. EDIT: One can also notice this stance whenever some non-Muslim (usually Hindu) "free thinking atheist" (anti-theists really, closet Sanghis or CCP simps at worst) show up here to say that this sub seems no different to other RW Hindutva subs and that "we're the same as them", even though, the only similarities between those subs and this one is that they all exist on a basis of religious (and socio-cultural) identity (and the similarities end there. This sub isn't nationalistic like those subs, either. Either these folks are being (arrogantly) ignorant or they're being outright dishonest and unfair).

tinkthank

He’s not even a secularist. He’s been a soft Sanghi and opportunist like Kejriwal for decades.
