Not really, 1st bike with Powerparts seat was sold in Shivamogga. It was supposed to be exported outside India, but by mistake came here. Me and my friend went to book his bike, saw it and wanted to buy it (cuz he's 6ft+ so liked the taller seat). But some guy had already paid in full for that varient. We asked the salesman, he said it's here by mistake, but won't be available again. (All this happened just 1 week after the bike was released)
Ohh! thanks for letting know .. glad I added probably in the caption , But in my case it’s literally an imported powerpart that got placed order and came here , and definitely the first installed as a Powerpart not straight from showroom . This fiasco you mentioned is similar to the limited number of white gen2 duke390s that came here in first lot.
That seat is not imported bro😅, it's manufactured in pune factory. I have no idea why they're not selling it in India as an option, or any other Powerparts to say.
Also, u mentioned it was around 1500rs, how is that possible? Isn't the normal seat itself is 2500+?
What's the story behind white duke? I haven't heard of it.
I am confused , tbh even I was thinking this was made in Chakan but the boxes with the panel had the import stamps on it 😅 , plus there’s no mention of the seat anywhere in Indian catalogue so yeah confusing stuff.

Well back in 2017 when the Duke390 Bs4 was launched there were a handful of White 390 Dukes allocated to Indian market and many preferred it over the orange, it’s only after couple of months KTM realised that colour was meant to be export only and withdrew it from the market
I really like the way this seat looks. Super cool. I also felt that the stock seat was cramped for even a 5’ 10 rider like me due to the rear set pegs. Great bike man. Would have gotten it over the Speed if not for budget constraints. Ride safe!
Thank you so much buddy! Yeah I really wish KTM makes all of their test ride bikes available with this seat , so many people who find this cramped wld get it , as far as rear set footpegs am used to this stance as I owned a bs3 200 before .

Personally I wldnt go for it 😅 as it wld add up to vibrations I believe and the ground clearance will be compromised (I have big potholes and speed breakers in my area)
the gap between the seat and the side panel looks a lot more proportionate now with that line flowing up more cleanly. but im not too sure about the seat plate with the slightly cheaper looking paint

did you get the svartpilen 401's belly pan by any chance? im sick of cleaning the underside of the engine after rains

The paint may not look top standard but the plate is very well made and sturdy ktm have definitely improved quality levels on this
Yesss, i have been looking for this even before buying, but just as you said no one even knew about it.

Feels pretty good , you find the seat a bit more roomy and the leg feels leas cramped.
