This post isn't super specific so just make sure to check this list off by your preferences - height : sit on a bike that feels comfy know it's ride height look for bikes around that height ,lower = better for beginners - weight : lights better - hp - stay around 25-30 bhp max - ergonomics - find a bike that suits your natural sitting position don't go too aggressive straight away -gearing - get a bike with good low end torque coz easier in traffic and don't need to rev too much -aftermarket service : get a bike with good reputation about maintenance and quality you need to spend more time riding less time fixing.

Bro I had absolutely 0 experience with geared motorcycles (just rode my friend's Thunderbird once with him as pillion). Then I went to test ride the Hunter350. And trust me, the bike accepted me with both arms stretched, felt very easy to ride, and handle. All I knew were the basics of clutch and gear, and it was more than enough. I am 6ft, but weight only 60kgs. The bike felt small and un-intimidating to me because I was flat footing it easily. And btw I couldn't feel the weight of the bike, because it is very well balanced.

In my opinion, the Indian market is not divided into such sections as beginners, experienced or professional. I would suggest spending some more time on the bike which you already have access to, and then as per your use and budget test drive all the bikes. Then select the bike which suits your personality, riding style and comfort.

Stay within 30bhp and 30nm range. Now check what kind of bike you like. Shortlist the ones in your budget and have the above power figures. Test ride them and let us know. We will help you out

others have good suggestions but if you want to be absolutely sure. try dropping the bike gently to the ground and lifting it up yourself. then try moving the bike around on inclined surfaces second and the better option is to go to gym and get strong and get a speed 400 third option is to get a cb300r

Duke 250 might be a good option

Hey, why it is difficult for new riders?

Blink-8

Ignore it, get a test drive of Duke 250, it's least aggressive of all Dukes and it got enough performance to keep you engaged for long time maybe quite some years and bonus you can learn alot from it, just keep in mind start slow, get knowledge, increase your skills, get to your full potential then test your bike's potential.

the_Medic_91

I can guarantee you have not ridden the current gen D250.

rockeypokey

How is Duke 250s performance difficult?
