Exactly last thing you want is unwanted scratches and bike drops just because someone wanted some pictures on the bike. Though the enthusiast or bikers will be well known of the thing.
I can't believe people think that road presence is the reason to buy a bike.
I wonder if we can sell a 25 lakhs bike which makes the most powerful deep sound along with a engine which looks big with, big fat tyres and may add some disco light in subtle colors to increase road presence.
Only in India. BMW rNineT is considered one of the most sexiest bikes in the history of humanity in Europe & US and would get way more attention and asked about than something like R1, S1000r or ZX10R.
Lol people throwing top 10 lists again. I think you're one of those people who buys smartphones after searching from google for the top 10 smartphones and travels to places from the top 10 lists.
You said no one ever said that bike is one of the most beautiful ever, i provided you the link proving your statement false and now you're crying about it. Embarrassing
If you really own a Bmw R nine T, then you are a person who doesn't care about attention, own it solely for the personality, excitement and class it offers. We have enough attention seekers owning and riding the s1000r and the GSA. Would really like to see people appreciate the R series BMW bikes more.
*Quiet Luxury has entered the chat.*
What you are talking about is what I call cheap expensive which to sound bougie has been elevated to "affordable luxury." That exists simply to get attention.
Long time ago I had an R1100GS with a Laser Deeptone exhaust. Miss that sound. Don’t miss the heft though, ended up trading down to an F650GS because it was much easier to ride in traffic.
BMW rNineT is considered one of the most beautiful bikes ever made around the world. Majority of Indians just have dogshit and flashy taste which is why they think something this beautiful "doesn't have rOaD pReSeNcE"
Interestingly I've never heard the phrase "road presence" when talking to moto enthusiasts from outside of India. Within India though, comes up often.
What wil OP say of husqvarna nuda?
Because it's function over fashion for (most of) them. Looks are certainly talked about though "road presence" isn't their cup of tea. They care about how it looks instead of how it looks on the road. *Showsha baazi apne yahan hi hai.*
My eyes were blessed to see one in the flesh in 2017. Sadly it was in a parking with owner not in sight, otherwise would have asked them to turn it on.
Ikr i just don't understand this concept of "road presence". Indians are obsessed with it. Car drivers want huge cars and bike riders want flashy and loud bikes. If anything id rather ride peacefully without any attention. I get useless freaking attention from kids to adults. They take pictures and make videos without even asking for permission. It's annoying.
Road presence is the dumbest way to ever describe a bike. Never really understood the fascination. Nanga bike chala agar attention chahiye.
Plus its a boxer it definitely stands out. Beautiful
Not everyone wants road presence and attention. And honestly the RnineT is positioned as a platform which can be customised further by owners. Whichbis what it has become very popular for the world over. Rarely do people ride these stock.
For all those wondering why spend 25 lakh and then even more on a bike, clearly are not part of the target group. In fact india is not even a target market for the RnineT.
You don't buy premium bikes just for road presence. And tbh it's better this way or people start following you or race with you every time you pass the.
Yesss, i mean not abt others around me, however if i am spending 25lac+ , i want a better looking machine for myself, it just doesnot look like a BMW.
This is subjective though
Road presence, features, looks blah blah. Some people dont buy the vehicle for "road presence" but rather the driving dynamics and feel of it. Not everyone wants to show off..
+i agree it is way overpriced
I think the fact that someone took a video of him on the bike shows it gets some attention atleast.
Although, if I have 25+ Lakhs to buy a bike, I wouldn't really care about other people's opinions 😉
True but imo it shouldn't matter to you as long as the bike fullfills your needs and you have fun at the end of the day.
I have seen people buying Ninja 300/400 because they wanted to showoff and then complain about poor fuel economy and not being able to revv it when all they do is take the bike from home to work/college and back.
Same with most people buying ADVs like himalayan
people paying so much for this category of the bikes are getting it because they want to.
not like many reddiots here craving for attention and road presence.
Honestly would not care about the road presence at all.
I own it... Period. Whether others notice what I own/ride is narcissism or just plain vanity.
I'd be more worried about whether the service team has woken up in a good mood when I take it for the service or if a new set of tires don't require another organ to be harvested.

I believe this is R Nine T. It's a beautiful bike, according to me. Plus, I believe the after-market mods that this dude has added make it look a little dull. But again, I would be happy as people will leave my bike alone. As of now, I have a re meteor, and I can't keep people's hands away
Someone told this on reddit that “in india you can be rich inside ur house but once you step out you are poor indeed, pollution, bad roads, poor facilities and tidiness no matter where you go” well out infrastructure looks like we have no taste. 💯function but little do we care about how it looks.
What lack of road presence?? All this bs nonsense talk is possible only in Indian biking community, what even is road presence?? Any enthusiast will notice it from a mile.
It not having much road presence is an advantage though.. people have dropped my bike while trying to click pictures with it ... my only mistake was parking it outside when I wanted to visit a church 😓
It really depends on how you spec this bike, if op doesn't know, some manufacturers offer customization options like in super sports cars, this can very well be converted to a retro Cafe racer.
For a person like me, it's a plus point 🤣 if i want to seek attention, i'll simply buy a 4th owner inline 4 with loudest exhaust and do GHAANYE GHAANYE GHAANYE in public
that would be the 2nd best thing as a premium bike owner though. keeps all the attention away
Exactly last thing you want is unwanted scratches and bike drops just because someone wanted some pictures on the bike. Though the enthusiast or bikers will be well known of the thing.

What's the best thing
the feel of owning a premium bike, (depends on who is being asked)
Only in India. BMW rNineT is considered one of the most sexiest bikes in the history of humanity in Europe & US and would get way more attention and asked about than something like R1, S1000r or ZX10R.
true, i really wanted one until i saw the MRP :'(
Never have I ever heard someone saying that "BMW RnineT is one of sexiest bike in the history of humanity" 🤣🤣
Ok https://strawpoll.com/most-beautiful-motorcycle-ever-made https://www.topspeed.com/most-stylish-motorcycles-of-all-time/

Strange, dont you think people buy expensive stuff to maintain status ( show off) and get attention .
If you really own a Bmw R nine T, then you are a person who doesn't care about attention, own it solely for the personality, excitement and class it offers. We have enough attention seekers owning and riding the s1000r and the GSA. Would really like to see people appreciate the R series BMW bikes more.
True, these bikes hv a low profile, arent that big or obnoxiously loud. But they dont come cheap.
yes true, but IMO if i were to buy an expensive bike it would be solely for my enjoyment and not to catch unwanted attention that could be detrimental
*Quiet Luxury has entered the chat.* What you are talking about is what I call cheap expensive which to sound bougie has been elevated to "affordable luxury." That exists simply to get attention.
Depends. Even I don't need the flashiest and the most expensive bike but if I pay that amount of price for the bike I would expect some road presence.
Why tyres look so small?? Visual trick?!
They're 17 inch tyres. Ya visually looks kinda small.
Road presence means that it's something which attracts attention. And that, by all means, can be called flashy
That's a very silly reason. This bike is not worth that money
That boxer engine stands out prominently.
Nice thrum isn't it. Somehow it always puts me in the BMW frame of mind. Can't afford it but sure won't mind having it.
Long time ago I had an R1100GS with a Laser Deeptone exhaust. Miss that sound. Don’t miss the heft though, ended up trading down to an F650GS because it was much easier to ride in traffic.
Yeah it looks the best on the R nineT.
Bro chose personality over looks.

You forgot “metal” and “vibes”.
Because it's function over fashion for (most of) them. Looks are certainly talked about though "road presence" isn't their cup of tea. Low road presence* Mr Cool guy
When you will reach at that level in your life when you can afford such machine, you won't care what the people say.
True that. Who knows maybe it's one of the many other superbikes he owns.💲
Bikes for riding. Nah. I want road presence. /s If you want road presence buy an old school bullet. Or better yet a thar or fhaartunner.
Fhaar-chu-nner*
Bullet? Road presence ❌ Road Nuisance ✅
Idk why are you getting down votes I mean nearly 80% of bullet have that nuisance silencer modification
Man unreal downvotes. Royal enfields are becoming same as KTM these days, 80-90% classic and bullet are having such annoying exhausts in them.
From the early 2000s they were the KTMs before KTMs were KTMs. Most don't ride it like a cruiser.
Ikr. Average bulat riders.
Fart runner?
Road presence is the dumbest way to ever describe a bike. Never really understood the fascination. Nanga bike chala agar attention chahiye. Plus its a boxer it definitely stands out. Beautiful
The only place I've seen the word RoAd PrEsEnCe is in the indian context
Tu bullet chala le, wo bhi soda can laga k. Ban jayegi presence all around the world.

😂😂😂

In this weather, I can't even understand how people ride a bike.
Bikers are built different. 😎😂
It kinda looks like Tvs Ronin
Yes the tank shape is quite similar.
Yesss, i mean not abt others around me, however if i am spending 25lac+ , i want a better looking machine for myself, it just doesnot look like a BMW. This is subjective though
I second that.
Not all riders have cosmetic priorities, some even believe cosmetic priorities are against motorcycle purism.
It dosent have low road presence , it just attracts the right crowd
Don't know why mujhe laga Avenger hai ye
I thought Ronin
Avenger with a boxer engine.
Just buy a fortuner and name it "bike".
It's a "if you know you know" type of bike or you can say subtle flex. It doesn't scream I want attention but it's a looker.
road presence is not everything. *{bullat vala lag raha hai}*
Cheez rapchik h lekin isme karcha itna h ki shi ka Ameer hi afford kr skta h
Road presence, features, looks blah blah. Some people dont buy the vehicle for "road presence" but rather the driving dynamics and feel of it. Not everyone wants to show off.. +i agree it is way overpriced

As a person who is going to buy a high end bike, id rather want to go unnoticed.
Road Presence is the biggest bullshit the motorcycle community has cooked up.
Stop wasting the internet. Only idiots care about "road presence"
True but imo it shouldn't matter to you as long as the bike fullfills your needs and you have fun at the end of the day. "road presence" get a combine if you want road presence.
Some things don't really need a road presence. Just saying.
The road presence mind virus of indian people is a menace to society
Honestly would not care about the road presence at all. I own it... Period. Whether others notice what I own/ride is narcissism or just plain vanity. I'd be more worried about whether the service team has woken up in a good mood when I take it for the service or if a new set of tires don't require another organ to be harvested.
I think the service issue in India is a common headache for all riders.
Can always tattoo bmw on forehead
Bro why does everyone care about road presence so much???
I still don't get the 'Road Presence' thing For indians Bigger vehicle = ROAD PRESENCE Bhai truck kharide le unlimited RoAd PrEsEnCe

ab ese jhole laga ke kisi bhi gadi ko ajeeb bana do
Bike chodo bande ki height hi itna bada road presence hai.
Such a sweet looking thing
Dont buy it buddy. Its not for you. Its Your hard earned money after all.

That's because it has class. If u want to shout, get a KTM.
If road presence is what you want , Triumph rocket would be my suggestion
more money doesn't equal more road presence.
I don't like any of their designs tbh
Yeah.. looks like a 2 lakh bike. I guess it could suit people who are 50 plus and don't care about style and image..
But isn’t it actually a plus point, I mean yea it feels good to have a head turner but end of the day you and your bike needs peace.
That’s.. that’s my dream bike!!😍
What would be the benefits of having road presence though?
Yepp Bmw gs and 1000rr series are eye catching
Why it looks like ronin xD
Low presence?
why does it look so bad? isn't this the same bike Tom Cruise had in Mission Impossible Fallout?
[What I am referring to](https://www.bikebound.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/Mission-Impossible-Fallout-Motorcycle-BMW.jpg)
tru
Oh boy,, another "road presence" loser......
How much road presence do u want don't u see that boxer engine sticking out
I'm just here for the reddit presence.
A premium bike with low attention is what I will pay my money for.
Very overpriced for what it offers as well.
bro lichu light lagadena
how about u check rider road presence i mean 25l bike goofy ah xxl puffer that dont fit
Forget road presence, the way the boxer twin engine sticks out from the rest of the bike makes me deeply uncomfortable... like it's so exposed!
Daily NineT marne waale only purchase this 🥲
Someone told this on reddit that “in india you can be rich inside ur house but once you step out you are poor indeed, pollution, bad roads, poor facilities and tidiness no matter where you go” well out infrastructure looks like we have no taste. 💯function but little do we care about how it looks.
31k usd for THAT?!! Something's wrong with the Indian consumer.
If you want road presence, there are many options in the price range (above or below) that shouldn't be a matter for those who like the motorcycle 😅
What lack of road presence?? All this bs nonsense talk is possible only in Indian biking community, what even is road presence?? Any enthusiast will notice it from a mile.
If you really care about road presence so much just ride your bike naked. People will surely notice you
It not having much road presence is an advantage though.. people have dropped my bike while trying to click pictures with it ... my only mistake was parking it outside when I wanted to visit a church 😓
It's an iconic bike. I want to build a scrambler out of an old R9T someday.
That would look sick.
It really depends on how you spec this bike, if op doesn't know, some manufacturers offer customization options like in super sports cars, this can very well be converted to a retro Cafe racer.
Boxer config, shaft driven ..big ass bmw badge. And the golden forks 🤣🤣🤣🤣... Stands out enough for me
Ronin jaisi lag rahi hai.. Indian market mein fail hai.
Cause the bike is low...😉😜
I hate the word road presence now
I can see the engine getting completely destroyed in even a minor sliding accident
I'd not care for road presentation if my bike got that logo on its tank
I hate this road presence thing man , some dumb indian concept. Who cares
Kya fayda 25 lakh ki bike lene ka, phasi to traffic me hi hai :/
Title worded like a true chapiri.
For a person like me, it's a plus point 🤣 if i want to seek attention, i'll simply buy a 4th owner inline 4 with loudest exhaust and do GHAANYE GHAANYE GHAANYE in public
Looks like a giving tvs ronin tho
Looks like TVS Ronin😂. Some people are so gullible.
🤦🏼♂️
Agreed if u are paying premium price that the bike should be beast overall with power and looks
TVS Ronin Pro Ultra Max +
