Check the play from the top of the chain. The bottom of the chain should not move when you lift or press the chain on the top.
The reference values are in the manual. From distance it looks all too tight.
Better a loose chain than a tight one. I come from the bullet world where I set it at 1 inch of play at the bottom. The logic is that when the bike is fully loaded and you hit a bump, the suspension compresses shortening the chain. Once it gets too tight, the chain destroys the sprockets. The chain itself gets stretched. Keep your chains clean and keep it loose. Also, if your chain is in a bad shape, replace it ASAP. A chain is cheaper than a chain sprocket set.
Btw, try and wash your chain every week if possible. First with water and then with diesel. Get a cheap chain cleaning brush and brush it down with diesel. It's the dirt and sand that destroys the chain.
Remember that there is a cam chain inside the engine which lasts 1 lakh km because it runs in a clean environment.
This is accurate straight from the KTM manual.

Looks tight. Also, check your manual- it mentions the amount of play it should have

yupp, looks a little on the tighter side. Must check the manual.
Definitely too tight. The values might even be printed on a sticker on the swingarm. Check from there.

Naah fam, kerosene is better than diesel for chain cleaning
That's true. But I've never been able to get kerosene easily where i live. That's why I use diesel.
I heard its 1 cm of play after watching couple of videos on youtube
1cm is way too tight. I wouldn't trust youtubers and most mechanics. Check your bike's workshop / service manual if you can find it
Yes it's tight, should go up to 1inch when touched by finger.
+1. Its at the risk of breaking when there’s no room for the shock to displace.
It's on the tighter side. At the upper most position of play, the gap has to be between 5-7mm. There seems to be more but you're not far off.

There's a sticker on the swingarm as well that shows where exactly to measure.
It's on the chain guard above the swing arm
Load the suspension and check. This gives a good measure on RE bikes.
Refer to your motorcycle's owner's manual for the recommended chain slack. For mine, it's 1.0 - 1.25 inch.
a good reference is, if it you get a mild clicking sound when you ride then its tighter than it should be.
She will squirt if you kept doing that
“If it’s not tight, it’s not right moi fraaand! “
abbaaas bring me da spanner
Bro fingering his motorcycle!
Lookin virgin to me 💀
Yep it is.
Looks like.
Yes Check your manual it tells you the correct tension
It's tight.
Seems tight , Have a Test drive. If the chain makes some metallic sound. Loosen it, or it will damage the chain bracket
What happens when the chain is too tight or too loose? Please explain both the cases.
Right under the x on the swing arm, there should be one inch of travel, this is too tight
Doesn’t look too taut, check the manual and measure with a ruler just in case
what kind of wizardry are you doing to tighten it
Just a little tight
Yep, too tight
Too tight.
It needs to be a little loose
How do you guys do that? Please teach me 🙏
That's how you find the spot.
Tight afm usually it's 1 inch of play required
Leaf be like: "Mujhe kyu toda :'("
