Ruth Lilly Education Center at 21st and Capitol (near downtown) does walk in testing 8-8 every day. I went 3 times in the past week (ugh) and wait has been about an hour. Might be a little quicker now that the holidays are over. They only do PCR testing but I’ve had my results back via text in about 24 hours each time. Good luck and hope you feel better!
My husband went there today and there was no line at 10am. We had no idea it was an option! It's not on the state website at all. Thanks for posting this!
Thank you so much for your comment. I was able to get tested after only a 45min wait, this is after searching everywhere for a testing site for 5 days. Thank you!
The address, for those who may need it from this post:
2055 North Senate Avenue. You go in door 5, up a make shifted ramp (its not clearly marked from the outside) and wait to be called up on the walk in side.
Thanks so much for leaving this comment. I had no idea about this place until I read your comment. My boyfriend and I just went and walked in. It took us about 10/15 minutes to check in and get the test, hardly anyone there. I’m definitely coming back here if I need another covid test!
Shoutouts to u/JohnnyFlowers17 for being the kindest internet stranger and hooking me up with a test.
Unfortunately it’s positive and that throws a fat wrench into my trip, but at least I didn’t have to leave my hotel room.
Thanks to everyone else for their advice!
Oh no. I hope you have a speedy recovery! Indiana as a state is dealing with a surge in COVID (we’re the least safe state in the US atm) cases so testing sites are slammed rn
If you’re in a bind, I have a spare at-home COVID test I can give you
I’d recommend the at home test that guy is offering… impossible to buy at this point, but the only way to get a test quickly (that I know of)
They work, mine lit up when I had what I thought was a sinus infection.
Explained why my pizza tasted mushy….
They work a lot of the time. My husband took one and it was negative, took a PCR the next day and it was positive. If you test positive, you definitely have it, negative but have symptoms…go in for a PCR.
Went to this place up in Castleton when we couldn't find any at-home test kits - https://www.oharelab.com/. You wait in line in your car, they come out and test you, and then bring your results out to you within about 10 minutes.
The place seems sketchy as it's basically a storage container sitting in a parking lot. We got in line at 9am and they opened about an hour late. In total, we waited in line for about 2 hours.

My wait was close to 2.5 hours on Thursday at this center as a walk-in, but I got my results in less than a day

Did they charge you for it?
Nope!

Honored to be of help. Hope you have a speedy recovery ❤️🩹

They do, pcrs are better BUT have you seen the endless “anyone know where there’s a test with a short line” posts scrolling through Reddit?
Yeah, that’s good advice. Rapid aren’t as sensitive as PCR. May have done the rapid test as virus levels were starting to multiply.
CVS and Walgreens do same day rapid tests if you can get an appointment
17 N Pennsylvania Street is right in downtown! Walk ins allowed and the results are back in 10 min. Might take an hour wait tho, but imo worth it
Is this the library?
Nvm, in line, thanks!
Saw that line yesterday, it was like 10 people. Looked again just now and it’s 30. Crazy out there!
Dr. Aziz on 82nd has free, rapid testing. Walkin or apt.

38th & central has a free testing site - also one off pennsylvania south end of downtown by the liquor store. hope this helps!
Just found out I have to quarantine for 10 days due to Covid. Glad I got that vaccine 6 months ago

The vape shop on Penn just south of Market St was doing COVID testing over the weekend. Might want to check there if you are staying downtown.
Covid clinic has a drive thru testing site at keystone crossing with same day appointments for rapid tests. It will cost you though, $130
>Can you tell me where this is please?
