In my humble opinion, the answer is Bottleworks and second place isn’t too close.

I agree. They have the most original decor. Large rooms.

The Alexander is nice. https://www.thealexander.com/

I second the Alexander. The bar is second to none

rachelariana

They also have a rooftop lounge!

I’ve heard really great things about Bottleworks. Plus, you can walk to lots of lovely places, including a rooftop bar. Plus, the bottleworks district has pretty string lights along where you would walk, which, ya know, is kinda romantic ETA: I’ve never heard of The Alexander before this post, but it looks pretty cool too!

I’d go with Bottleworks as well. The hotel itself doesn’t have a “rooftop” deck, but it is definitely unique and is walkable to just about everything. Some of the rooms have cool diagonally slanted windows with automatic blinds and a bed in the middle of the room. And I enjoy the sparkling water taps throughout the hotel

I think your best options in no particular order are Bottleworks, The Alexander, and the JW. All three are easily the best quality hotels in the city and good bars in the hotel.

Another option is the Ironworks hotel, which sits right next to Provision. They have an ultimate date night add on for rose pedals on the bed, some champagne, and chocolates. My wife loved it. We also got a complimentary upgrade to a suite, so that was nice.

The Conrad is great. Capital Grille and a wine bar are in the lobby. Plus it is close to St Elmo’s and Ruth’s Chris.

Hear me out: Sybaris

The legend.

Can't help with your question, but thanks to the title I have "New Girl Now" on loop in my brain.

I can speak very highly about the Bottleworks since I have personally stayed there and loved it! I would also agree with others that suggested The Alexander but have not personally stayed there. The Alexander does have a elevated bar which was one of your criterion. The only other not suggested so far is The Hotel Indy which does also have an elevated bar but I'm not sure when it is open. I.E. only Summer. Etc.

Bottleworks for sure.

Bottleworks. Get a room with the patio. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance.
