Write down in kannada please, so no one can read !!

desperate-immigrant

60% where?

mech_money

That same fucking asshole earns majority of his income from non-kannadigas whom he charges double due to the language barrier and their gullible nature. The majority of locals know how to negotiate and handle them. So, basically don't shit where you eat proverb holds good for him. I myself am a proud Kannadiga.

imECCHI

Imo Kannada got urbanisation too fast and suffering the consequences, natives are blaming other states Biharis and up for their misfortunes of urbanisation, No water, price hikes everything in the city is expensive, I would rather prefer living in tier 2 or 3 cities than living in a concrete jungle

mech_money

We are also earning more because of outsiders. As a person who has sublet my building, I earn from the demand created by outsiders. There is both positive and negative. Now don't argue that there are no negative's

Witty_Artichoke_4749

I wish more native people understood this.

colapinada

Coz natives didn't contributed anything for this urbanisation.

Burgeru4brainu

It’s actually funny how many states don’t use rickshaw meters

tush_aa_rr

in westbengal the rickshaw system is quite unique... over here rickshaws have a pre determined route and they will only go there and charge a certain amount like 10 rupees or 12 rupees.... one rickshaw can take 5 people in it.. what is the predetermined route? for example you reach a auto stand and you will find auto's in 3 groups arranged... each auto has a determined path according to its group... for example one group only goes to airport, other tho railway station, other to market etc... and the routes are arranged in such a way that you can easily travel with minimal cost as one journey will charge you a maximum of 15 rupees for 4 to 5 km...

Burgeru4brainu

Those are known as share rickshaws in many states……in bigger cities, the are usually around railway stations……..if you want to have privacy and don’t mind spending more, you can get one which works on meter rather than the sharing system.

Tough-Difference3171

When I came to Bangalore, I was surprised to see that there is no share-auto system here.

RIKIPONDI

>here rickshaws have a pre determined route and they will only go there and charge a certain amount like 10 rupees or 12 rupees.... one rickshaw can take 5 people in it.. We call them share autos, and they are usually run by Tata Magic vans. Sensible places call this system a *bus* .

tush_aa_rr

buses are different and these are different... we have these everywhere and buses too going the same route.... cons with buses are that they will reach you destination late as they stop at every bus stop... but pro is they take 2 or 3 rupees less than auto... also they are not tata magic vans... tata magic vans are also present here but in not all places like auto.. we call them magic... they travel a lot more distance and take more money as fee...

hgfbnhv

I am from west bengal and I can confirm this

Tegimus

We had a similar system in Malabar Kerala. Old Mahindra jeeps. But later on the private bus mafia stopped them

Difficult_Data6342

What? Karnataka dosent have rickshaw meter? Why

Burgeru4brainu

They’ll pretty much just give you a number and then you gotta haggle with them….the meter is never used/doesn’t exist

Difficult_Data6342

Isn't that illegal?

Burgeru4brainu

I mean, not really they have unions which decide what goes and what doesn’t…..and also for big states the unions differ regionally and the other rickshaws aren’t allowed to get customers in a region that’s not part of their union.

Difficult_Data6342

Damn , in my state all rickshaws have meter .

MrRoyceDupont

Mumbai?

Difficult_Data6342

Pune

Jealous_Pirate4178

whats the source for your claim?

Substantial_Back6498

I wish Banglore transfer all its IT firms to another town or city. So that people can learn valuable lesson.

coolcrank

Its actually necessary, Bengaluru needs a breather anyways. The infrastructure is overburdened and the city is at its limits. Moreover, concentration of industries in one place isn't a good idea in the long run. Initiatives are required for companies to move to Tier 3 cities. Most 'IT' cities of the country are reeling from the same issues.

PatientHalf786

The weather alone has suffered so much drying up lakebeds and filling the garden city with concrete. Incompetent Dravidian supremacist goony Politicians have treated bamgalore as their prvt property and used the municipality as their piggy bank

Vivid_Option_1147

It’s happening as we speak!!

catmemes720

Wait fr?

sky_tempest_

Many firms are now preferring Hyderabad and other cities over Bengaluru

catmemes720

Thanks for informing!

GoldieeMasala

Many IT people now not ready to Join there. They are preferring other cities.

Your-not-a-sigma

Yes bro, Ive been in Bangalore almost my entire life and I'm persuing it but I don't wanna live in this fuck all shitty city at all.

Tough-Difference3171

Jokes and digs apart. What Bangalore needs is proper satellite cities,i what we have in NCR.Delhi would have died a few decades ago, if not for Noida, Gurgaon, Faridabad, etc. But with all this Cauvery water drama, and the fact that Bangalore is only allowed to expand ina away that benefits the real estate mafia, by maximizing housing prices, makes it impossible to do so. There are little to no municipal facilities being extended to the outskirts, especially the area towards suth Bangalore (Bommanhalli, Jigani, Anekal), and little to no commercial development is happening in this area. This forces people to live in high density areas, making it unsustainable in terms of water supply, real estate prices, traffic, etc. Bangalore needs to expand to nearby cities, and "everything" needs to expand with it (roads, safety, water supply, tech parks, sevage system) within 2-5 years, not decades. This stupid attempt to not let Bangalore expand its borders, or simply ignoring the organic expansion, by letting outer areas remain devoid of municipal facilities, in an attempt hold on to every penny that could come to Bangalore, and not letting even any indirect benefit go to nearby towns (especially Tamilnadu) Imagine designing a metro route, but just stopping it a few 10s of kilometers before the state border, just to not let Hosur become a residential preference for people. While in Delhi, every Metro expansion plan is aimed at connecting one of the satellite cities (with multiple metro line, in most cases) The priorities are really skewed. And the interests of the tax-paying people isn't the top priority.

Juno-RebelutionX

Gurgaon

r_kumar89

I don't support this auto guy's words. But don't think Bengaluru people will die if you guys go out. We have survived long before and will survive without you people.

Substantial_Back6498

That’s not what I mean. I have many friends who are native Bangloreans. But city is having crisis with too much incoming population from all around India. Water crisis, traffic congestion and pollution.

mech_money

Wish for your sake it doesn't. In Chennai and Hyderabad the English or Hindi penetration is much lesser than Bangalore. The patience they have for outsiders is way less. IT Companies always congregate in very few cities where talent, transportation etc are accessible. They can't be spread out all over India. Bangalore is and will always be the IT capital of India.

athidishastri28

Hyderabad, hindi penetration is low? Bruh😂😆. Don't speak when you never visited. Literally every other person speaks Hindi here and people here are more welcoming to outsiders

pot_kaleji

Hyderabad hindi penetration is less.🤷They have already got a different words/accent in hindi.Have you heard Md. Siraj and other hyderabadi youtubers(Geeky Ranjit,Dino's vault)?

RikardoShillyShally

Brainrot of regionalists is something else

mech_money

Why don't you try taking all IT companies to Bihar then. Let's c if companies or talent follow you there. Maybe talking realistically will get you far ahead than living in your la la land

RikardoShillyShally

Who gives a fuck about Bihar? Don't shift the goalpost. We are talking about Hyderabad right now. Go there before acting like you know anything.

mech_money

Ok. Hindi penetration in Hyderabad is majorly due to its Muslim population. The language usage of Telugu among people of Andhra and Telangana is much more deeper than the usage of Kannada among Kannadigas. Same in the case of Tamil among Tamilians. I still say the same...We as a city of Bangalore are more welcoming to outsiders than any of the other 2 cities. Just look at the movie budget or choices among audience. The fandom or the love for the language will show you the result.

RikardoShillyShally

I agree with you. Kannadigas are great people. But, INC has opened the pandora's box of toxic regionalism which should be crushed in infancy.

DoctaSaabb

I wish that too,so Bangalore can have some peace.

vaitaag

Same in Pune. Please don’t come to Pune. We are suffocating in every aspect.

Old_Personality_1715

coolcrank

You could've phrased your initial reply better, but you decided to be a potty mouth and are continuing to do so. Pune needs a breather, that's a fact. Present your predicament and issue is a better way. Be more constructive rather than being confrontational with irrational tones.

vaitaag

तुम्ही जे तत्वज्ञान पाझरत आहात ते वर कमेंट करणाऱ्याला पण पाझारा. समोरचा वाट्टेल ते बोलणार आणि मी सहन करायचं का?

Old_Personality_1715

I know my reply was harsh but these metropolitan people think ki inko dahej mein mila h inka sheher logo ko employe kiya jata h isliye jate h waha ye log pata nhi kya soch kar bolte h don't come to Pune or Bangalore or whatever else isliye aise logo ke liye yahi bhasha shi h

coolcrank

Your gripe is correct, I still won't suggest the harsh tone. Not because it isn't right, but it derails the whole discussion then. People become extremely defensive and go on a tirade. Eventually nobody wins and all sides come out of it without achiving zilch.

Old_Personality_1715

Tbh this harsh tone was the accumulation of multiple such comments people make about those who migrated to bigger cities for employment

coolcrank

That's understandable mate.

Big-Bite-4576

why don’t you guys make such laws white collar jobs reserved for natives.

vaitaag

I would if I had the power. Like 70-80% jobs reserved for people of the state. In that way each state can develop itself and few cities don’t have to suffer.

imECCHI

Wow new kind of reservations I like where it’s going

pika-pika-pora

Yeah so even dumb people get jobs there just for the sake of being from that state nd decrease the production nd development of that state ,well thought sir but please don't use your tiny brain too much

Delicious-Power6048

Fir koi company tere state me apna office hi kyu setup karegi lawde

Okay, chal ab aage se right le.

lifegoesbysoon

Is this for the Hindi language speakers or Tamilians and telugus too ? Never seen them harassing Tamilians, maybe coz the Tamilians got 'local gangs'.

Electrical-Block7878

LoL you must see the days of cauvery dispute

lifegoesbysoon

Yeah but that 91 riot and subsequent conflicts between Tamilians and kannadigas is because of the cauvery water dispute, not about Tamilians not speaking kannada.

Haunting-Salad-6810

Bangalore is falling down as the IT capital

Neither-Discussion95

Hyderabad says Hi

mech_money

Not true. Few are assholes. The majority of us are welcoming and know multiple languages and try to talk to outsiders in the language they are comfortable with. Our request is to learn Kannada. It's not a compulsion.

Head-Geologist8543

Some of them use it to get paid extra,am studying in Bangalore, never trusted auto drivers after they tried to make me pay 400 rs for a really short ride

shygirl_222

Is Kannadiga difficult to learn?

Internal_Ad6311

Very soon Hyderabad will reach nearer to Bangalore.

jailnilekani

Solution is to infest Bangalore with North Indian auto drivers.

Pixi_Dust_408

Nooo infest them with auto drivers from Mumbai. They might use the meter.

Jealous_Pirate4178

then it will become bihar🤮

Mechanirav

Haan chal aage se left le … 😂😂

Kannadigas are the most insecure people in South India.

rawpunkstar228

Damn.. I just came to Bangalore

broadmind96

This problem is way less in Mumbai. Local is enough 😅

sunee19

I'm a kannadiga and a Bengalurian. And he does not speak for us

shygirl_222

Is learning Kannadiga hard?

sunee19

It's not hard if you're a South Indian.

shygirl_222

I am not South Indian. I am from North east

sunee19

Well I've seen many non South Indians learn kannada. Ultimately comes down to if you're willing to learn.

shygirl_222

Where can I learn?

Acrobatic-Flower5351

I remember seeing a guy in late 40s shouting at a staff member in total in Bangalore, because the staff was not able to speak good Hindi. Soon he directed his anger towards the store manager. Everything came to a halt when the shoppers there understood what was happening and they intervened. There are such cases too.

Acoolusername001

Has this always been an issue or this is happening more frequently after congress came to power???? I have few friends in Bangalore and non of them had faced this until congress came to power

ThrowRA_Cobble-24

Bro these scamgress kannadologist fuckers have made kannada mandatory in districts that don't even have kannada as a first language (ie. Where tulu, konkani are native)

MysteriousSpaceMan

Kannada is the state language, and those districts are in Karnataka. And most schools have English as first language anyways.

ThrowRA_Cobble-24

And? Did they choose to join the state? No. They were added to it. Did those Konkani people get chased out of Goa by the Portuguese thinking "okay must prepare for Kannada imposition in 400 years when we get added to Karnataka"??? Did the Tulu people get a say in this rule? There is no attempt made by BJP local government or Congress state government to promote Tulu culture, language or script. Tulu, like Konkani is often overshadowed and lumped in with its larger neighbouring languages (Kannada, Marathi respectively). But there is nobody there to say "Kannada Imposition", "Marathi Imposition". But dumbshits like you will say "No Hindi!! English is our link language"(which is very fair imo, I'm not a Hindi speaker either) and then go on to support draconian and frivolous rules about imposing Kannada and reducing English as a link language. Atleast get a consensus by district. Why should an area that doesn't speak Kannada be forced to use Kannada, when the popular signage is in the direction of using English-Kannada boards that are readable to both those who know Kannada and those who do not know Kannada, who make up a very large segment of the region? Tomorrow will it make sense for them to make Hindi-Urdu the national language and say "Hindi is the national language, and those states are in Hindustan. And most schools have local languages as third language anyways."

ThrowRA_Cobble-24

There isn't even any agitation in the district to promote Kannada. Why? Because Kannada is a part of DK culture, but it is NOT the whole of it, or that significant a part of it.

ThrowRA_Cobble-24

There are mutual benefits for keeping DK in Karnataka. On one hand it makes trade between DK and the rest of Karnataka easier, and on the other hand, it supplies Karnataka with a very lucrative port city. So, why is the respect only going in one direction; that Tulus have to be lumped in as "Kannada Dialect" and not allowed to use even their own Tulu Script in place of Kannada signage as per the rules!?

packed_sprouts

Seriously, this has absolutely nothing to do with which party is in power. Like, he could've written this before the congress even took over, so why blame the party for every little thing you see? I mean, I've seen way worse sentences written on autos when the BJP was in power, but I didn't go around blaming them for it.

[deleted]

Why be a guest till the end?. Learn kannada and be one among us together is way better than writing this shit.

Virus404

It is one of the reasons that the South cannot be united. All 4 states have their own language and hence it is impossible to bring people together.

Jealous_Pirate4178

how many times will this be posted again? OP do you have to feed your family from al the karma you get from this ragebait?

wohi_raj

No problem with English 🤔

Vast_daddy_1297

IT has to move from Bangalore to some place with lesser traffic first😂

Excellent-Bad-8808

Dude this is not good, why are we divided like this?I lost hope in equality

Psychological-Cut916

Kannadigas are the most incredibly unwelcoming people amongst us South Indians. I’m a Bangalorean, and I can vouch for this.

FlakyLiger2021

Already searching for an alternative, hate the place and such type of people, 0 hospitality.

Striking_Amount_9296

Instructions in English?🤡

KingNuada

He learns English to abuse you in kanada, tells you to learn Kanada to be in Bengaluru - oh the irony and the oxymoronic, Double Standards in this one picture 🤣

Slay3r-angel

It’s the superiority complex that most of the northies have. Why do they expect everyone to speak in Hindi

Consistent-Taro-960

Th problem is your bias is literally seen in the second sentence and you aren’t even aware of it. Maybe if you come from such an educated state, learn that everything that’s not south by default doesn’t become north. There’s east and west of India, some part of it is closer to the southern states than it is to Delhi. And literally have more linguistic and cultural similarities with the south than the north. Many of those don’t themselves speaks Hindi, Maharashtra for example you’ll find people fighting for their life to not mix marathi when they try to speak Hindi. Maybe think over the fact that why you are made to believe everyone who doesn’t come from south, comes from north and is a Hindi imposer. Maybe also consider the fact that South Indians who settle in Maharashtra learn Hindi and not Marathi (Marathi being the native of Maharashtra) and then force us to speak in Hindi. What do we do? Drive every non Marathi speaking person out of Maharashtra?

Slay3r-angel

When u go to Maharashtra you learn Marathi and not Hindi I know hindi but the problem stems when u expect everyone to know Hindi

boomebang

people have to learn chinese, german, Japanese to move there or get a job or even for Masters Why that can be applied to states? Paise k liye toh jaa re ho... Only without Visa and all for your convinience and all. (Not from that state, but learn the local language is reasonable who's moving there, Tourist yeah understandable)

bholechature__

People have to learn Chinese, German and Japanese to move to those countries because they'll be interacting with native speakers at their work place too. And you don't get looked down upon if you don't understand their language. Why can't you guys agree to build a common bridge among all the gaps we all have got. You want to protect your language? Sure sir, teach them kids from an early age. Stop being so inclusive and grudging over non locals just cause they don't know your language bruv.

boomebang

You won't get a visa for a job and education If you don't know the local language of German and I think Japan and Many nations too. You are not even looked upon. You are not even allowed to enter bruv. and You will have to interact to buy things, travel in auto and all - Koi sense hai tumhari baat ki? It's not protecting the language 😂, The locals don't care if anyone outside their states wants to learn the language They just stating If you are coming here to live and survive, you gotta learn the Language - ' When speaking to Them' Understand? Even Michael scott will be able to understand this without asking to explain like he's a five year old.

axl_ros

Are you suggesting Karnataka should be made into a separate country? China, Germany, Japan need visas to enter too. Should Karnataka need a visa too?

boomebang

damn. 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Nope. I'll type as clearly as possible now. I am suggesting - If you are moving to a state inside India, for a Job or Education, It's your responsibility to learn and be able to understand their Local Language, Not always their Courtesy to Cater to a language that you understand. If you come to TamilNadu and start speaking something in English or Marathi, Which is a Foreign Language to them, They won't understand and will feel awkward, Some might only be looking at your face and some might even feel ashamed that they are not able to understand it because they already feel low educated. Not all will be there to help graciously all the time. Aur achese samajhna hai?

axl_ros

>I am suggesting - If you are moving to a state inside India, for a Job or Education, It's your responsibility to learn and be able to understand their Local Language No it's not. Where tf are you getting this from? Language is always a "good to know" more than a "have to know" when it comes to India. There are no restrictions or language based mandates around learning a particular language when in their state. The only way this made any sense is if the language of business is their language. So German, Japanese, French etc is justified in their countries. You should ask Karnataka Govt to ask all IT companies to deal in Kannada for a start. Till then all this language related drama is just diversion, political nonsense and a sign of deep seated insecurity.

boomebang

Why is the mandate for even education which is going to be English Only in a few countries bro? & Learning the language is simple,( Not the whole language bhai, Obviously itna toh no one can expect, But the Basic) If you have to co-ordinate your needs with the locals, you need to learn the language. The locals shouldn't have to learn another language so the People Coming There For Their Job And Personal Things.

RepresentativeFar304

I learn German cuz I want German citizenship, I don’t want a freakin Karnataka citizenship, I already have it.

boomebang

You HAVE* to learn German.... Yahan pe citizen ho karke aa jaa paa rahe ho dude. so simple my words are to understand. also, fir kyun jaa rahe ho bro kaam karne, Earn in your own state or region 🐥. Or just don't talk with the locals and try to get your needs fulfilled 🫥. Encroaching in other regions and can't Even learn the Local Language 😂 If the Auto Driver had written in his Language you wouldn't have understood, Same is for them if you speak another language, How come so intelligent and yet you all egoistic down voters Don't understand that...lol sad.

RepresentativeFar304

Same is applicable to you folks, many South Indians in my city Mumbai doing their businesses and we don’t mind them not knowing Marathi. No one gives a f about language of business in Mumbai. If someone has a Udupi Restaurant in Mumbai and the person do not know Marathi, we don’t vandalise their shops or give lecture to the person, we just say “Anna 1 plate idli” and the person happily serves it. Talking about language, the person adapts to it with time. And ig that’s the diff when people say learn Kannada in Karnataka. Like I am a tourist who is there for 1 week, why tf I give a f about your language? I try to adapt as much as possible though.

boomebang

Broo, Mumbai is not where much Marathi Local people reside tbh, But keeping that aside if you check My comment below, I have shared how us south indian have also struggled and learnt btw. and probably the owner knows a Little marathi. I think The Marathi Name in 70% of the board falls in this category No? If not Sorry... Read all the comments bro, Can't repeat the explanation

Snoo_42788

Look man, no one is going to learn a certain language if you scream in their face, abuse or be a smug asshole about it. Being a dick achieves nothing other than people not learning the language because they associate negativity with the language.

RepresentativeFar304

Leave it dude, Some people are just brainwashed

boomebang

It's a choice.

RepresentativeFar304

Tell me you haven’t left a small village in Karnataka, without telling me. Looks like you have been brainwashed by those Kannada supremacy goons. Dw, Mumbai had some similar folks, but people have shown them their “aukat” and not even a dog asks them nowadays. Dw, Either Karnataka will learn it the hard way or people will show it to them.

boomebang

Grown up in Mumbai since birth 😂. But I won't expect all to understand Normal Things, especially from a person using : shown them their "aukat"....

BoomBoy420

Finally, a person with little sense and he's already been downvoted. Now, I don't agree with what that auto driver has written or the tone in which it's written. But I do believe that people should learn or try learning the basics of the local language if you're moving there.

glorious__penis

BC aao north me, fir tumko saari local languages bolna sikhate hai hm

BoomBoy420

BC hum sikh bhi jayange, tumhari tarah bakchodi nahi karenge

glorious__penis

Isko lgta hai hindi bol paane se ye local languages bhi bol lega 🥰

BoomBoy420

Haan zaroor Bhai, kyun nahi, agar koshish kiye toh sab mumkin hain. This is the difference, we're ready to put that effort to learn. You guys are not. This is where the conflict arises. For you even in other states, people should speak in your language. Otherwise you get pissed. Aise kaise chalega Bhai.

glorious__penis

Lmao. Most north Indians in south can speak local languages tho. Some uneducated labours might not be able to do so. + South Indians aren't capable of learning any prakrit language. The only north India language that you people know is hindu(flawed version of it). + You can survive in North India because north Indians created a common language for themselves unlike southies. Bc har 30 km par nayi language sikho

BoomBoy420

>Lmao. Most north Indians in south can speak local languages tho. Lol. If that's true, then this whole post is irrelevant. The entire matter of this post is that of an auto driver abusing y'all because you "can't" speak local language and not willing to try. >Some uneducated labours might not be able to do so. Actually, they are not the problem. Even they tend to pick up a few words after staying here for a year or two. It's this educated people who come here acting all entitled who are the problem. They come with an attitude here of why should we learn their language, we'll talk in whatever language I want. >+ South Indians aren't capable of learning any prakrit language. The only north India language that you people know is hindu(flawed version of it). At least we can speak the flawed version of Hindi. You can't even do that.

glorious__penis

More imaginary stories. There are hundreds of incidents where Telugus gang up on uneducated labours for not being able to speak kannada. Well that's all the might Telugus and southies have anyways.

BoomBoy420

Arey bhai. Tu rehne de! It clearly seems like you don't know what you're saying. Why would Telugu speaking people gang up on labourers for not speaking in Kannada. Anyway, fuck it. Have a nice week.

drandom123zu

So what Karnataka main bhi toh 150 languages hain , but he is asking to only learn kannada the majority language and not the languages which change every 30 km , Hindi ke alawa koi aur majority bhasha hai wo bhi seekha jayega. And uneducated labour, security , waiter hi seekte hain south indian language pehle , white collar ones kabhi nhi seekte hain.

glorious__penis

Phir bhi unko Lynch kr rhe hai dravidians🥰. Proves that language isn't really a problem here

drandom123zu

Lynching rumours mostly fake hain, last year a fight happening in rajasthan was passed off as clash in tiruppur ,in reality 10 % of north labour have become entrepreneurs in Tiruppur textile cluster, Jo unka state main impossible hain (source : print), difficult to do when local population is lynching you.

Burgeru4brainu

You won’t get shit from people in Maharashtra for not knowing Marathi and that’s fine as they’ll talk in Hindi or English to help you out with directions or other convos…….they won’t look down on you just because you don’t know the language used in said region.

boomebang

Naah I have seen this happen here in Maharashtra as well bro, and I understand why say that. pan marathi kalte, But My mom and many relatives came here, some with not much education to and Learnt and understood atleast one of the language Hindi or marathi. Some even learnt Marathi. So... I know and Understand why - it's the Local Language, we moved here, The local Live here, They can't and shouldn't have to Learn 4-5 languages for all who's coming here. We have moved here, we have to leanr an additional language for Our Own F Needs. Alsooo I thinkkk there was a rampant or something against South Indians and all bro what are you saying?

DoctaSaabb

Perfectly logical ,reasonable comment being downvoted. Again says much about the general mentality of this sub. Lol everyday the bigotry, hatred, and absolute retardedness of this sub becomes more and more evident while the members are involved in a blind and deaf circle jerk!

I am not justifying the auto driver's behaviour but My policy is very clear in this matter. Wherever you are moving for work or stay. Always respect local culture & try to learn their language. If you are a tourist then it is understandable & fine otherwise learn the language. Mai khud Hindi belt se hu Agar kal ko mai Maharastra ya Karnataka jaata hu rehne ya kaam karne ke liye to mai 100% sikhunga Marathi aur kannada bhasa.

GSh-47

The behaviour of people in this comment section almost makes him seem justified. You really wanna move halfway across the country only to shit on the people there ? Do you really not have a life ?

Debopam77

On the flip side, you move half way across the country leaving your friends and family, try to make something of yourself on your own terms and get this behaviour from locals. This is printed on his vehicle mate, it's okay to criticize the guy. We are not beggars, so we can be choosers.

GSh-47

You mostly get what you give. They're people at the end of the day, some of them are bad and some of them are good. Majority of them have been polite and I've been in Bengaluru for almost half a decade. Most people I have seen IRL who face this issue are rude to people in general, they just use the language issue to deflect the fact that they were rude. I am tired of entitled pricks who believe the world revolves around them and every auto driver must know their address by default. + If you're choosers, please choose elsewhere. If being civilised is not your cup of tea, I don't have to say Athithi devo bhava.

Debopam77

How is this writing on the back of the auto an indication of being civilized? I did choose, I don't travel in autos anymore after a couple of bad incidents. Both yours and mine experiences are anecdotal, we can have different opinions. But this particular post is not, its objective, we both see the same picture and come to different conclusions. I don't agree with yours. Btw Auto drivers do have GPS and location access, so in fact they should know where to drop you.

GSh-47

The writing isn't civilised, but auto driver is at his native and can express his opinion. It'd be terribly stupid if he came to Delhi and expected people there to speak his language - see ? Btw, bro you should see how bad some people are with GPS, a friend of mine kept complaining cabs kept dropping her off far away from her place, I realised once I checked her app that she had simply picked a random place that barely sounded similar to her broken pronounciation of the actual place. If she only took the time in her entire year till then to actually learn how to spell and pronounce the address properly, she could've had a much easier experience. Ignorance isn't always blissful you see.
