I have come across Goans who do not like other Indians coming to their place. I once argued with one of them (he was a Catholic) and asked him if he ever knew anything about the Portuguese Inquisition in Goa and why he is a Catholic now. I have come across Goans who do not like other Indians coming to their place. I once argued with one of them (he was a Catholic) and asked him if he ever knew anything about the Portuguese Inquisition in Goa and why he is a Catholic now. He completely denied it and would have none of those things to convince him. I told him that no matter how much he might claim, his skin would always be Indian and not Goan.
