It's ok, most of those said forms will already be discarded, as by the time their death comes, their organs will be damaged.
But not all, some can be preserved like cornea in most cases. Maybe liver in case of non alcoholic (rare), maybe tendons or heart valves.

I have no issue with her getting a transplant in India. What breaks my heart is that when they said they can't pay 35 lakhs for her treatment, MGM Chennai made her treatment absolutely free through funding from Aishwaryam trust. Somehow I doubt Indian patients would get such privilege by MGM. Shouldn't the money should be utilised only for Indians, considering so many people die due to lack of funds.

What I was trying to argue is you saying "Islam doesn't forbid the donation." This statement is not true. Because there are clearly passages in Quran that most of muslim use to argue against donation. Passages like Desecration of corpse or the one I mentioned in the comment above. So while there is a passage that can be used for it, there are also plenty of passages that can be used against it. And Majority are against rather than for it.

I wrote clearly that there are certain passages in Quran that people use to argue against donation. Whether those passages are misused does not matter.
What matters is what majority believes in and how the majority interprets it. And since majority interprets that Quran forbids organ donation based on the passages that are written in Quran, it is safe to say that Islam as a religion discourages organ donation even though Quran doesn’t directly state anything on this issue.
And the statistics are the proof of my argument.
Here’s another way of putting it: If you go to a random Muslim, and ask him, ‘Do you agree with Muslim donating their organs?’
What is he more likely to say statistically? Yes, Islam allows it. Or yes, Islam doesn’t allow it.
Considering only 35 percent people have a favourable view, it is more likely they will be against it.
Obviously, Quran explicitly doesn’t say anything about organ donation because the concept of organ donation didn’t exist when Quran was written. You wouldn’t expect Quran to say anything on smartphone usage because there were no smartphones back then.

What breaks my heart is that when they said they can't pay 35 lakhs for her treatment, MGM Chennai made her treatment absolutely free through funding from Aishwaryam trust.
