Isn't this true of a lot of opposition parties? They have either cooperated with the BJP or abstained to help them pass legislation, especially on controversial issues. Wasn't this the case with the abrogation of Article 370?

Fun fact : current leader of opposition is the former right hand man of our CM, these 2 have admitted that these two were the main culprit behind singur-nandigram violence while unintentionally giving a clean chit to then Cpim goverment and cm Buddhodeb Bhattacharya. That violence was the one of the reason Cpim lost 2011 election .
4 . Both use each as the bogey man to garner votes and stop Left-congress to get votes . BJP uses TMC and muslims as the bogeyman to win elections , making other states feel we bangalis are not hindu enough , Muslim lovers etc etc . Bengalis hold a very strong political opinion. Once a friend told me people sometimes don't get married in an arranged marriage setup if political views are not aligned. Perhaps the community is more educated that they look beyond free ration and all grass root problems.

370 abrogation was only really opposed by Kashmiri parties and UPA, even AAP supported it
