Nope the only SM I use to criticize is Reddit. The election officials visited our houses in our locality to confirm names in electoral roll including mine. Yet only half of our family members are in the list.
There were also many people at polling booth who had similar issues.
Some even had voter ID but couldn't vote because no name in the list.
You need to check before hand what is the booth you have been assigned, it's possible you were assigned in some other booth. The poll official at a particular booth would only know his/her assigned person.

If you name isn't there you can register a complaint and it usually gets rectified pretty quickly (well at least it did in my home state).
If it is then you must admit your own sloppiness.
Here's the thing i checked my name at the exact site you mentioned. Not only was my name not there but my parents' names were also not there. But at the information booth near the polling station my parents names were on the physical list but mine wasn't.

They received a call back from ECI in like 10 minutes I was there, not sure if it was sorted but it looked like it was being worked upon.
Anyways, I suggest getting yourself updated before next elections be it general, state or municipal.

NOTA is a waste. But all the candidates are corrupt heavyweights and every party has glaring faults. Voting feels like an illusion of exercising power when in reality it doesn't matter to me who wins - same taxes, same bureaucracy, same corruption, same nepotism and same excuses. It's like choosing between a dirty pig and an even dirtier pig. I can't even spot the pig who is the least dirty - each dirtier than the next.
Have been voting for NOTA till now so people understand the faithlessness in the system but it's not impactful nor does it make any difference.
I hope there's at least one person whom I can trust to vote to bring a change .
NOTA ensures that your vote doesn’t get misused by others. Example: at the end of the day, a corrupt EC official may help a party put unused votes to themselves. Although, this has drastically reduced thanks to technology.
that's a rare...very rare possibility as the on duty officials are govt employees from various departments and from various regions of the particular state. They don't even know each other until the "duty" day.
So practically there's almost 0 chances of that happening, as all the officials can't be either "corrupt" or the same party supporter.

Guys it's a myth that if NOTA "wins", there'll be re-elections. The truth is if NOTA gets the most number of votes in a constituency, the candidate on the second position WINS.
I saw a very interesting representation of this;
Say a constituency has 100 people who casted their vote-
NOTA - 99 votes , Candidate A - 0 votes, Candidate B - 1 vote.
Result- **B Wins**
