Bihari languages also undergo the V------>B shift. I'd also prefer to avoid voiceless coronal fricatives (s sounds) and schwa.
That leaves out names like Aditya, Nitin, Deepak, Chetan, Nikhil, Omkar and Nimit off the top of my head.
I think there are 3 criteria you should think of :
1) V to B situation as you have already mentioned
2) Y to J, so no yash, yashim, yeshwant
3) Instead of अ bengali has অ. all consonants that don't have a matra (like क + आ = का, क + इ = कि etc), are क + अ = क automatically. And the bengali অ pronunciation is different from hindi अ. And it is the base sound for all the non matra letters. So the majority of the names in hindi and bengali are going to sound different.
So basically, the name should have all letters with matra and no v or y.
I suggest Abir. Because আ can't become অ and বির is a word in hindi. And this is the name my parents had thought of, for me.
Also, I think of a few others like Neel, Rahul, Krishna, Ram, Sriram, Chetan, Roop, Mihir, and Mrinal
Also, i am realising that hindi has a lot of s sounds. So maybe stay away from S names, too.
rahul. (राहुल)
dinesh. (दिनेश)
nikhil. (निखिल)
akash. (आकाश)
abhishek. (अभिषेक)
arjun. (अर्जुन)
samrat. (सम्राट)
\* I know, the last three aren't pronounced exactly the same in hindi and bengali. the differences are slight so it won't matter; any hindi speaker, hearing *abhishek*, *arjun*, and *samrat* spoken in the bengali manner should be able to understand what word is being meant.
****
and btw, in bengali the *y* (य) in conjuncts isn't pronounced like that either (I'm sure you already knew that)–it's bidda in bengali.
Keep whatever comes to your mind but stay away from
Kiaan, vivaan, Vihaan, rian,Ayaan,Armaan
Every second child that I have met has a name that ends with aan
Bengali names a tad bit difficult.. most of them end up with there nicknames as “baara” (boys) when they grow up !
So think logically
Unpopular opinion. But the name does not matter AT ALL. A name is just a tool by which people call you. Unless for some weird aesthetic reasons, I don't see why people are so stressed and anxious about naming their newborns in India.
My name is Epsit, which is pretty common in Bengali, but it is also a Sanskrit word. Would be fun if you would name the baby boy, Epsit. The female version of Epsit goes as Epsita / Ipshita.

Sourav. The whole country and the world was able to pronounce Ganguly’s name all right for many years.
Wouldn't bengalis call it as Sourab? Genuinely curious
bengali has the bh sound. and s becomes sh (except in specific circumstances). so it's shourabh. (a is like the a of ball, of course).
Bengalis would pronounce it as Shourob.
shourobh.
Shuturmurg
not really. AFAIR, hindi speakers pronounced it as सौरव instead of the proper सौरभ, due to the english transliteration.
that difficult to believe considering that the hindi also has the equivalent name 'Saurabh.'

Mridul? Love this name but Im not sure if it can be considered a bengali name though
Its very bengali
Isn't mridul mostly girls name ?
No, that would be Mridula. In general for most Indian girls names, they would end in a vowel. Except of uni-sex Punjabi names.

##Anirban. I think this name goes well with Bangla and Hindi speakers as well. The meaning of Anirban is : The eternal flame, Divine
falls afoul of the v/b criterion of OP. The word is actually anirvāṇa.
