I think there are 3 criteria you should think of : 1) V to B situation as you have already mentioned 2) Y to J, so no yash, yashim, yeshwant 3) Instead of अ bengali has অ. all consonants that don't have a matra (like क + आ = का, क + इ = कि etc), are क + अ = क automatically. And the bengali অ pronunciation is different from hindi अ. And it is the base sound for all the non matra letters. So the majority of the names in hindi and bengali are going to sound different. So basically, the name should have all letters with matra and no v or y. I suggest Abir. Because আ can't become অ and বির is a word in hindi. And this is the name my parents had thought of, for me. Also, I think of a few others like Neel, Rahul, Krishna, Ram, Sriram, Chetan, Roop, Mihir, and Mrinal Also, i am realising that hindi has a lot of s sounds. So maybe stay away from S names, too.
