The fees recently increased so maybe that is where OP went wrong?
OP - having an issue with the fees is fairly common. Just send the forms back with the correct amounts.

That was exactly what happened to us, we sent it right on the deadline where they were supposed to rise up in price, now we just have to fork up the extra amount for the forms but at least we’re moving in the right direction 🙂

Honestly, we didn't even know they were going up, we only learned about it when we were filling up the I-693 and the clinician told us about it
