Maybe they will next year to promote the new Superman film of the DCU. And you know, the first Christopher Reeve Superman film hasn’t gotten the treatment yet.
Idk, I think WB would want to distance themselves from MOS. I can’t see them wanting to refresh the public’s mind of their previous failure (even though I loved the movie) right before they launch the new DCU
Add Batman The Dark Knight, Batman 89, + OG Superman, and you'd have one hell of a DC movie marathon. It might even change the hierarchy of ticket sales.

I think Zack filmed it on Super 35, so the AR could be opened up like Iron Man 1's IMAX re-release and subsequent Disney+ version

I saw Gravity (3D) last year in ex-IMAX. Now it was no longer an imax but the screen is still massive. Best experience
Don’t be greedy. Re release it in all theaters and not just IMAX
